Of course, the restaurant was busy at that time, and we had to wait several minutes to order, but the employees did their jobs well, and I felt thankful that a table and chairs were available for us. I ate the hot pumpkin chai (5 stars), bacon quiche (4.5 stars), cinnamon munkin (4.5 stars), cinnamon roll (4 stars), peanut-butter cookie (4 stars), chocolate-chip cookie (4 stars), and banana-bread cookie (4.5 stars). This shop boasts an assortment of food (including a deli), home decor, gifts and furniture. It's behind a bunch of big box stores, just off the exit. So don't be discouraged when you pass the Target -- this small store is there. We bought a few bags of yogurt-covered pretzels, candy, salsa, sesame sticks and pasta. And the prices were great, with most of these around $2 each. The shop is a bit of a tourist target, with mini golf (seriously). Is this store authentic? It seemed to have items made by Amish families, but the staff did not appear to be Amish. But like us, you may be able to find some fun treats. The staff was kind, courteous and helpful. Because my husband and I will likely take this route again in the future to see family, we made a mental note to stop by again.
