Recently was at a baby shower in their new event space which was beautiful, I was shocked at how nice it was! Food was good. Food in the deli itself can be hit or miss, but it is good for the most part. They have an awesome fish sandwich. I hate their pepperoni rolls though. Great deli in Washington, Pa. Many breads like Mancinis, sweet treats like cookies, brownies, a great hot case, like hot sausage, kielbasa, fried chicken. Today I got a fish sandwich, awesome. Nice crunchy coating, fresh fish filets, you get two. I get cheese, and tartar sauce, add hot sauce. The hoagie roll is fresh, light. A great fish sandwich. read more

I worked at the Fastenal right next to the Countryside Deli for over a year so I have eaten food from the Deli many times. This is a top tier deli. There is a great supply of options at this Deli including a hot food bar. There is specials every day which I like their Monday special of a turkey wrapped stuffing and mashed potatoes. Along with their Friday special which is a huge fish sandwhich. They also have a selection of 4 soups every day which I really like their wedding soup. Additionally, they have great hot sausages that I highly suggest trying. Along with this you can get traditional deli sandwhiches there. This is honestly as good as a deli as you can get with great prices as well, I never spend more than 10 dollars and am completely full after every meal. Don't hesitate to stop here you won't regret it. read more

Countryside Deli has a HUGE selection of foods, both hot and cold. For my dietary needs, coming here is somewhat a last resort. The only thing I am able to eat would be the salad bar (which is a sad situation for someone that doesn't eat meat) and the desserts (which when I go for the salad bar I try to steer clear from, but I kind of know I won't be quite filled up just from my salad). I wish they had some spinach, or maybe even some spring mix. Today, even the tomato mix & chickpeas looked terrible as if they had been sitting there for days on end. I understand from a business perspective that they are accommodating the customers that frequent there with their store - they may surprised if they incorporate some healthier options as well. Had a service call here. Didn't know it existed. They just opened in December of 2014. Finished my work and promptly ordered some broasted chicken and a half dozen pierogis. Delicious! The deli sandwich menu looks good also. Will make this a regular stop for lunch. read more

Great place to stop and get a homemade meal fast . They normally have 5 or 6 different meals prepared and under a heat lamp ready to go . They also have multiple deserts pre packed and ready . They have a seating area in the back to sit down and eat only bad thing is it's hard to get phone service in there and could not find a WiFi to connect. read more

The chicken is awesome! Better than KFC. There is a fresh salad bar and three fresh made soups to choose from daily. They also have a hot bar where you'll find chicken pot pie, pepperoni rolls, and bbq spare ribs. I've tried them all and they are all very good. Made to order fish sandwiches every Friday. There's a Hershey's hard ice cream freezer where you can get a cone. They have Boars Head lunch meat which makes my husband (who was born and raised in NYC) very happy. There's a nice little side area if you'd like to sit and eat your meal. The service is great. You're treated like they've known you forever. You won't be talked to in the fake over-friendly tone that is so nauseating. One negative is the blaring tv hanging on the wall that you can't get away from if you choose to dine in. Showing is usually one of those shows where a round table of cackling hens are all trying to talk over each other. The topic of the day on my last visit was pedofiles. If Countryside Deli is reading, I would suggest 86'ing the tv and replacing it with music. They started offering beer and wine in distributer fashion, so the view outside is now blocked with cases of beer, but the view was only of the parking lot, so it's okay. Even with the crappy, blaring tv and loosing the view of outside while you eat, I'm still giving this place five stars because the food offerings and service are both superb. read more

I work right next door to this deli so I am a frequent visitor. I love their enormous deli sandwiches, fresh hot food and their dessert case. I usually always go for the pierogies or meatballs. My coworker loves the macaroni salad. The only complaint I have is the pepperoni rolls- for how large they look on the outside and how much they cost, they're almost all bread. They really need more pepperoni. This is the only thing I would change. The Hershey's hand scooped ice cream is delicious! I also love the variety of unique flavored bottled sodas. Super low deli meat prices too compared to stores like giant eagle, etc. read more

Stopped in this place 3 times in the last week to get chicken breasts and every time they said the was out of breasts and only had thighs and drumsticks. Also got a small container of mac n cheese and and was charged 4.99 for it. My advice is drive the extra mile or so and get some good old Kentucky fried chicken.
