I had a very positive experience at Supreme Dental and would recommend them to anyone seeking a…read morehigh quality, lower-cost alternative to major dental work in the US. I had waged a losing battle with periodontal disease for 30 years. When it came time for me to consider a full mouth restoration, I did a great deal of on-line research, comparing the credentials, reviews and stats of several clinics. I reasoned that the sweet spot would be somewhere that did a high volume of implant procedures (practice makes perfect) for which they received overwhelmingly positive reviews and boasted a long list of solid credentials. I eventually settled on Supreme Dental. Working with their amazing customer coordinator, Ernesto Carranza, I was quoted a total package price of $24,950 which covered all extractions, placement of upper and lower all-on-6 posts, temporary dentures while these posts healed and integrated with my bones, and the final, permanent titanium/zirconia implants. The price also included full IV sedation for the initial extraction and post-implant surgery, and all accommodations at the clinic's in-house hotel. I scheduled the first of my two required visits in late February, 2026, and planned the second visit for the end of May. I flew Into Phoenix and utilized the clinic's free airport shuttle (shout out to my driver, Fransisco) for the ~2 hour ride down to Los Algodones and back. (They also offer shuttle service to and from San Diego.) During my initial exam, the CT scan revealed severe bone loss in my upper jaw. Dr. Luis explained that, for my implants to be successful, they would need to implant two special types of posts - zygomatic and pterygoid - that would anchor to my cheekbones and skull, respectively, instead of my upper jaw. Fortunately, Dr. Luis had the training and experience required to place these types of implants; unfortunately, their use would increase the cost of my procedure by $11,000 to a total of $35,950. I agreed to this higher price. (I did take advantage of a 5% discount offered for all-cash payment, bringing my price down to just under $34,000.) This is a lot of money, but considering the cost of the same work done locally would be around $100,000, I think It's a pretty solid deal. The skill and care demonstrated by the entire Supreme Dental medical team, from Dr. Luis down to the dental technicians, was superb. The clinic's tools and techniques are as modern and safe as any found in the US, and the customer service staff is excellent. When my second trip was disrupted by a series of mechanical failures on American Airlines, forcing me to delay my trip by two weeks, the clinic staff took these challenges in stride. Now, there are a few less-than-ideal facets of my experience to be aware of. First, Los Algodones (aka "Molar City") is a small town focused on dental tourism. It is very much a BORDER town, and not a RESORT town. The ~10 blocks that make up the business district consist of dental clinics, pharmacies, a few opticians (new eyeglasses can also be found at very low cost), a few restaurants and a grocery store. Bring something to do or entertain yourself with if your procedure requires overnight stays, because you will find very little to do there. (Nearby Yuma, Arizona requires taxi rides or a rental car to access and doesn't offer that much more in terms of entertainment options.) Second, the clinic's in-house hotel is clean and convenient, but also very basic. Picture Motel 6, not the Marriott. So, if you can endure a few days of spartan living and self-entertainment, Supreme Dental offers an excellent nearby option for US dental patients seeking top-notch care at roughly 30% of US prices.

Sussy is the best and sweetest personal concierge and Ernesto, the patient coordinator is who makes this practice a professional success. I am terrified by dentistry work but it was time. Dr. Luis listened to my fears and concerns and took very good care of me. I have not smiled for most of my life and I couldn't be happier to spend my last years smiling with abandon. You cannot go wrong with Supreme Dental in Los Algodones. All respect, Patricia

I cant say enough good things. From the reception desk, to the evaluation team, to all the staff at Circle Dental we thank you for everything. My friends had a great experience here and recommended it to me. The dentist Enrique was great, but…read moreoverall my experience sucked! The lab is horrible, they lack current modern technology that most offices have. I have had other dental work and they scan your teeth digitally and can create perfect fitting teeth to match the teeth being crowned. They charge you up front before my second appointment, so they kind of have you held hostage with little options other than to wait it out. Circle Dental doesn't have modern technology, they take a mold and send it to the lab and the lab tech does shit work! The two day job took 4 days because the teeth didn't fit and were horrible! The lab tech is a vital part of the office and he lacks training and ability. It took three times and the dentist still had to modify them pretty significantly to get my bite correct. I asked for a discount since I incurred additional expenses staying two extra days (hotel and food), but supposedly the owner is the only one who can issue refund and he was absent, so they put a note in my file for a discount on future work...... We shall see... I don't think I would go back since they don't invest is current technology.

I had heard of Los Algodones as "Molar City" and for the longest time thought it would be a plane…read moreride there. As I am in Santa Monica, it is the same driving distance to Las Vegas to Los Algodones so I figured "why not?" I don't have a dental plan at work nor do I pay for a private one. So when I started to get a toothache my depression about the cost here in the US depressed me. Also started thinking that maybe I was going to be upsold on services I didn't need. I've had gold plated health plans, then an individual policy, and now have a decent plan, but it's a month to get to talk to your doctor it that's any indication of that change. Having no dental and a toothache was facing the music. So I decided to go to suck up and drive to Yuma. Stay a Friday night and get my "toothache" fixed as a Saturday morning appointment with Dr. Salmeron. Read the reviews about various Dentists but with Yelp I know sometimes they are planted with some fake reviews. I did stumble across an Sky News online article about Dr. Salmeron with a quote. I am familiar with Sky News based in London. They wouldn't have wasted time speaking with a "quasi Dentist" and then quoted them. And her quote in Sky about 98% of her patients coming from the US was interpreted by myself as that I would be one of her typical patients. That made me feel better about contacting her office and schedule an appointment. The pain was a big motivator by this point. Something was wrong and it was getting worse. I drove to Yuma and stayed at the Wyndgate by Wyndom for a few nights as I thought the pain might warrant maybe a night of recovery. I had no idea what was causing it. I woke up and GPS'ed it to the parking lot to the entrance into Mexico. Yuma is pretty close to the border so it was a :20 drive to the "last parking lot" before entering into Mexico. Good sized lot. You just walk over -- but don't forget your passport to get back in! One thing to get ready for is to hear calls from all directions "come over here? Going to see a dentist?! "Hey HEY!!" These guys spoke clear English. I think some of them were not US citizens were in the US illegally and deported. Many who don't even speak Spanish are there and are making a living getting customers...so I get it. But after a while I told them "Hey man all this yelling is freaking me out!" I know most people don't have that reaction but it was too much for me. Just be ready. I entertained a few offers of various items promising to "come back later" and told the others I already had an appointment set and wasn't going to change it. Was nice about it. Dr. Salmeron was very professional. Her office was clean and the lobby area is kept up and clean. The building itself showed that is established. Some of the other dentists having been doing it a long time. Her office is established, so I was very comfortable with her. I had an infection under my bridge. Dr. Salmeron took some ex rays and it was nice to see for myself the tooth next to the infected bridge hadn't yet been affected. She held up a mirror and I could see where she ran floss under the bridge it was bleeding. It was numbed so I wasn't feeling pain. She used a liquid to numb me as I have a reaction to novicaine. There was some infected tissue she took out. I feel lucky that the pain got me to this experienced dentist. I'll go back next time. When I saw she didn't have a Yelp review I was surprised. So this is for you Dr. Celsa Salmeron. Thank you! ($260.00) https://news.sky.com/story/mexicos-molar-city-where-americans-go-for-affordable-dental-care-10944822

I ended up needing a tooth extraction & bone graft asap, and was scheduled for surgery the very next day! The whole extraction process went by smoothly and was relatively painless. The doctor and her assistant talked me through the whole process, seeing as to how nervous I was, and showed nothing but professionalism and genuine concern for my well-being. I'm now recovering and even then have only experienced minimal discomfort or pain. I highly recommend anyone who needs any dental work done to come give this place a visit. After extensive study of credentials, online reviews, personal recommendations; we finally did it! My husband, an engineer- and quite methodic about picking a anything medical- decided this office was the winner. We made an appt., only to have to move it up due to an emergency cracked tooth. They fit us in the next day, and we had nothing but A1 experiences since. The office staff was welcoming and thorough. The Dental staff, technicians, and Dr. A. Camacho (Founding Dr.'s daughter, now a dentist also) treated my husband. She was quite thourough in explaining ALL options. And pricing was broken out for each procedure. They did not push the most expensive, but did stress saving the tooth is always the best. We chose to do an implant; as my husband has had alot of crowns gone bad recently (from Dentists in the states) So we chose the implant route. They focused on the pain levels, the lack of infection, and the follow up so this is a healthy and successful implant. While i was waiting in the lobby during the procedures, I had opportunity to meet other longtime patients of Dr. C. 2 Different couples have been coming here for 20-30 years for their work. They currently only accept cash or check. The office is literally across the street from the border. So once you park on the US side, it is 5 minutes to walk to the office. You simply cross the street to leave through the border control. Clean, Safe, Enjoyable, close to many pharmacy options. They speak English quite well, so no worries about not understanding what is going on. And they print out all steps in your dental plan with pricing. HIGHLY recommend.
