I would make an appointment prior to coming in. I waited over two hours and wasn't very happy with the outcome of my nails. I wish I definitely said something but didn't want to offend the nail artist and had already spent so much time waiting anyways. At least I tried the spot out and know now not come back. Very disorganized. I booked with one lady and then she ended up not even working the day I went so they had to find someone else for me. They had me waiting way after my appointment time because they needed to find someone to wash my hair. Speaking of, instead of just telling me to my face, they use the other girl who was also waiting as a make shift translator because they assume blåck people cant know spånish (just like every other råcist spånish salon). They're not even speaking to me directly. Once I finally get to the chair, of course Mš. Kenïa who's doing my hair can't wait a second before she starts talking her shït in spånish. Mind you this place is supposed to be able to do all hair types (just like every other råcist spånish salon) but yet they're quick to complain. Once I was done getting washed I have to wait a while before I'm put under a dryer. By the end, the results of my hair weren't that good and Kenïa had the nerve to charge me extra. She said "cincuenta y cinco" so I'm expected to be charged 55 and yet the screen says 77????? lol trying to scam me because she didn't think I understood. I started going to this shop the beginning of January the owner is very unprofessional in that I've made numerous appointments with her and she either shows up too late to where I've had to have others do my hair or she's there and has me sitting around the shop and the process takes 4hrs. Today I walked in for a scheduled appointment at 4:30, I did not leave the salon until 8:44pm. A few Saturdays ago I had an appointment for 8:30 I did not leave until 12:25. I have been transitioning to natural hair since December 2017, on my own I have been developing beautiful curls. I have been told numerous times by "workers" at the salon I need to go back to a relaxer. How do you work at a salon and tell someone their natural hair isn't the right texture they need to revert back to chemicals? I was charged extra today by the owner because "my hair is natural now". I love Isabels! I come here whenever i need my very curly and hard to manage hair straightened with a wash-and-set. They are super sweet and always take me right away or within 15 min even when it's busy (I always go on Saturdays so that's the busiest). Isabel is very helpful and friendly and so are all the stylists. They have thrown in a deep conditioner for no extra cost. I had gone to the salon a few times, and the person that usually does my hair was never there. I called one day to ask about her, and they gave very vague answers. I found that no one else in the salon gave the right care to my hair.. they could be better with communicating to clients, and treating everyone well, no just their regular people. I found that if I sat it someone else's chair, they always rushed the process and it came out badly. read more

They did a great job doing my hair ! I walked in around 430 and had to wait about 10mins which is expected when walking into a hair salon especially before the weekend & 10 mins is quicker than most. I used to go to Isabel's biweekly for my wash and set. My stylist was always very friendly and my hair always turned out beautifully. Not too many people speak English, but you can still get your point across. I did feel like it was disorganized. You could be waiting for hours to get your hair washed, then hours after you come out of dryer. I put up with it because they kept my hair healthy and it always looked good.
