This review is going to be long and dates back to an experience with Jack Holeman over 15 years…read moreago. I don't know if things have changed, but I believe to this day that he knowingly scammed my family and I want to warn others. I was reminded of this episode after serving jury duty recently and overheard a similar case. I hope our experience was unique and others have not been taken advantage of. However, I want to tell my story, so that if others have had a similar experience, they can share it here and build a body of evidence. 15 years ago, my family and I were involved in a car accident. MRI's showed no damage, but X-Rays showed shifted vertebrae and we were having stiffness. Our Dr. (MD - Medical Doctor) prescribed pain killers and told us we would adjust in time as the muscle relaxed. Because we were sore we asked around and Dr. (PHD in Divinity - not a MD) Holeman was eventually recommended to us, so we went to see him. He instantly prescribed us a lengthy recovery plan. He sat down with my parents and assured them that insurance would fully cover the costs and he recommend my parents contact his lawyer friend for help. My parents met with the lawyer and decided to have him represent us to cover the costs of Holeman's services. We began seeing Holeman 3 times a week during the full length of the case - 4-6 months or so. My family is ESL (English is not their first language) and they are not savvy when it comes to US law, insurance, etc. After several months went by and our insurance company had already negotiated their basic settlement, my parents were concerned about the climbing health bills. Again, Holeman assured my parents that the other party's insurance were responsible for these costs, that they would pay for our medical (chiropractic) bills and the lawyer. He also assured them that they were doing the right thing for their family, by protecting their children from future injury and suing for additional funds in case of injuries that manifest themselves further down the line. Holeman's lawyer sued their insurance for the maximum personal injury allowed. On court day, he coached my family to agree that the limits were sufficient. We were unaware of the limits before this. My mother disagreed, but he was firm with her and told her she risked the entire case if she did not tell the judge that the limits were sufficient. I was just a child, but felt something was wrong. However, my mother was so nervous, I did not dare to speak up. The judge that day asked us several times if we felt the limits would be enough. I feel he sensed we disagreed. However, due to the lawyer's coaching and pressure, none of us said otherwise. Once the case was settled - we got the lawyer's bill: about 45% of our settlement was due to him. We also got Holeman's bill, about 45% was due to him. We were shocked but had no recourse. Until this point my family was given the impression that these bills would be handled directly by the insurance company - not taken out of our settlement. This exchange soured my view of chiropractors for years. Especially those that sing church hymns while they rub on you. However, as an adult now, I realize the problem was the particular individuals involved. It is also clear to me that Holeman and the lawyer clearly could see my parents were not educated in these matters. I believe they purposefully scammed them.

Dr. Brian Kinney and his team are phenomenal. I recently received the treatment Thermirase, to…read moretreat my 11's (glabella area), along with my forehead 'rows'. During my initial consultation time with Dr. Kinney, it was very clear to see that he was exceptionally intelligent, innovative and has incredible attention to detail. This combination makes Dr. Kinney especially talented. I had great confidence in his care. So much so, that I caught a flight all the way from Texas, where I reside, in order to go strictly to him for my cosmetic treatment. From the very beginning, Dr. Kinney took great care to explain the procedure and what was to be expected during the process as well as during recovery. He was very caring during the entire process and really took his time with me. The procedure itself was amazing! The actual procedure usually takes about 30 minutes once the actual nerve mapping is done. I had a particularly challenging forehead as I had 3 lines of rows to treat, whereas many people only have one or two. This made for a longer than expected procedure time which came out to be around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Despite the extra time, Dr. Kinney never made me feel like he was rushing or hurrying on to his next appointment. Dr. Kinney has impeccable precision and attention to detail. He took great care in maintaining precision throughout the entire procedure from start to finish. He had stamina and did not tire in the least, even though my anatomy was very challenging. In fact, the procedure didn't feel as long as it was due to the light and lovely conversation that we had during the actual procedure. I thoroughly enjoyed the company of Dr. Kinney and his assistants, Rio & Griselda. Dr. Kinney makes pain management a priority and checked in frequently to see how I was doing during the process. On a scale of 1 to 10, I had at the most a 2 during the entire procedure. The pain was so minimal that I didn't even need to take a Tylenol, or any meds at all! The recovery has been very mild with some typical swelling that has been managed with arnica, jade rolling and icing. I have had ZERO pain in the recovery process and I attribute this to Dr. Kinney's great talent with precision, technique and recovery care. Also, it should be noted that his assistants, Rio and Griselda, are truly wonderful! They make you feel at ease and work on managing any swelling or discomfort. Their post-procedure care is exceptional. I could not be happier with the outcome of Thermirase and my procedure. I am truly forever grateful to Dr. Kinney! In terms of future cosmetic treatments, I will be only entrusting my care to Dr. Kinney. He is as amazing as it gets and I recommend him for any cosmetic treatments that require incredible precision and attention to detail.
