So, where do I even begin...?!…read more My journey with pain started all the way back in 2003 with my first injury to my lower back and hip. Over the years--with all the ups and downs, body adjustments, weight gain and loss--I began experiencing intense nerve pain in my lower back and right hip, radiating from my buttocks all the way down to my toes. That's when I learned it had a name: sciatica. For a while, I tried to manage the pain with basic stretches, but last year I decided to get an X-ray--just to be safe. The results were honestly shocking: I was diagnosed with L4-L5 disc degeneration, which was the root cause of all my pain. So I started physical therapy. But in March of this year, after a long trip, things got so much worse. The pain became unbearable, and I knew I had to find another way. That's when my partner suggested I try a chiropractor. I'll be honest--I was skeptical. But thank God I found Dr. Min. From the very first visit, the nerve pain that had tormented the entire right side of my body--from my hip to my toes--was completely gone. I used to feel severe pain just from lying on one side for more than an hour. That same week, after my first appointment, I lay on the couch all day with no pain at all. I couldn't sit or stand for longer than 15 minutes without discomfort--and now, that pain is completely gone. I can't express how truly thankful I am for Dr. Min. He is absolutely amazing. If you're struggling with pain, especially sciatica--you will say goodbye to it from the very first visit. Forever grateful!

I found out after my appointment that they're no longer in-network with Blue Shield. I didn't even realize it until a few weeks later when I checked my credit card statement and saw I had been charged the full $140 instead of my usual $30 copay. I understand they sent out an email about the insurance update, but I really think it should've also been mentioned when I booked my appointment over the phone. I'm sure a lot of people don't regularly check those emails, so I think it's important to let customers know when they're booking an appointment. If I had known ahead of time that my insurance was no longer accepted, I could've decided whether I still wanted to keep the appointment.

When I got to the office, I liked how all the paperwork I had to fill out was electronic. There was also a cool arcade game inside for you to play on while you were waiting in the "lobby area". The office was very nice, clean and bright. I arrived early for my massage, but the therapist did not see me until almost ten minutes after my scheduled massage time. The massage however was pretty good. Not as hard as I would have liked it but what I liked was that he kept asking me if the pressure was good or not. Or if the massaging helps. He tried to go harder. After the massage was the adjustment... I saw the doctor briefly and it seemed pretty quick. I told him about the pain in my neck and he helped me realize why I've been having it. The adjustment was pretty quick... about 5-6 minutes. After the massage and the adjustment, they gave me a coupon for my next visit: $25 for your next adjustment. Seems like a pretty good deal. Parking: There is plenty of underground parking at this office.
