This review is long overdue. In 2019, my husband had this very unsual back issue that came on rather suddenly. He was in agony. He was in constant pain. He didn't have a comfortable position at all. I became a patient of Dr. Weinzoff about nine years ago. Something was, as usual, out of whack with my back, and this time, it just wouldn't sort itself out. Weeks passed. Eventually, caring co-workers, time weary of my hunched posture, dragged me, in effect, kicking and screaming, into Dr. Weinzoff's office. Back in May 2012, I visited a chiropractor that did a cold adjustment and completely screwed me up. It was taking many months to get better and so I was hesitant about seeing any other chiropractors. When my acupuncturist, Eric Schmidt, recommended I go and see Randy, I hesitated but went anyway. Dr. Randy Weinzoff put me at ease immediately and helped me through my recovery, providing reassurance along the way and even going out of his way to procure some new equipment to help me heal (ask about the laser treatment next time when you're there!). Not only is he an expert that hand adjusted me rather than using all those contraptions you see in some chiropractor's centers, but he makes sure you understand exactly what the prognosis and treatment will be before it is undertaken. This review is a long time coming. Even though I live in Northern California now, I do my best to see Dr. Weinzoff whenever I'm in SoCal visiting family. I first went to Dr. Weinzoff a few years ago on the recommendation from a good friend, hoping to alleviate some chronic back pain that I developed back in my mid-20's. I've seen a few chiros and kinesiologists over the years, but no one has been able to reduce my pain to the point where I no longer have to apply Arnica or pop a couple Advils to get some relief. I've been a patient of Dr. Weinzoff (it's always Randy) for about 6 years now and they are correct, he is an absolute miracle worker. I play a lot of golf and get the occasional lower back pain or tweaked neck. Randy can figure out where the problem is and with a couple of pops I'm completely fixed up in usually one visit... no bs! I've been to a few different chiropractors over the years most of them don't help, or worse, hurt you more. They all want you to come in for series of many, many visits and never can fully resolves the issue. But Randy is the real deal has tremendous understanding and ability. Randy is always easily able to resolve my sore neck or back for me quickly. Additionally, Randy also turned me on to this Detox program for losing weight. Normally, I'm pretty skeptical of this stuff and said no thanks a couple of times. I've tried exercise and diet over the years but resigned myself that I'd have this extra 35 lbs with me for rest of my life. I finally relented and decided to do this detox plan and it actually worked!!! Lost 14 lbs in just 21 days ended up dropping most of the weight in a few cycles. Can't recommend Randy highly enough. The first time I sought help from Dr. Weinzoff was after a car accident which left me in excruciating pain. I had never experienced such pain and I was truly scared. I was unable to sit, walk, sleep, I was in agony. Dr. Weinzoff saw me for a log consultation first, interviewed me, took X-rays, weighed the two halves of my body separately and examined me in other ways. He told me I had three pinched nerves (hence the excruciating pain) and other problems with my wrist and knee. During this first consultation I learned a lot about how the body works and I was pleased to have it explained to me in a simple language. I went to see Dr. Weinzoff for three months, three times a week. I got an ultrasound massage and a manipulation each time. I recovered fairly quickly and have since come back to the doctor's office for maintenance visits. I highly recommend Dr. Weinzoff - he is a skilled chiropractor and a kind person. I participated in Dr. Weinzoff's 21-day detox program last Summer. I had great results! In the three week period, I lost 17 pounds and a few inches off my waist. My main goal was to have a program to follow for a short period of time to improve my eating habits. I was not really in need, necessarily, of losing the weight. The first few days were a bit challenging, as I had headaches from the caffeine withdrawal. After the second or third day, that went away and I started feeling more energized. The program called for a portion of protein once every third day, but Dr. Weinzoff modified that for me so that I could have protein every day (as I continued light workouts and playing basketball throughout the program). Over the course of the program, all my aches and pains in my knees and hips went away and I saw improved athleticism. Overall, the program was mentally and physically challenging, but well worth it. I enjoyed having to stay disciplined and seeing the positive results. I felt much healthier following the three week program. read more

I started seeing Dr. W about a half year ago or so now, seeing him once every other week. I could write a novel with respect to the problems that I had, some still have, but Dr. W works steadily to bring me back. My kidney functions started going down. My GP wanted an MRI and other things done. I had diarrhea, lots of time with blood, stomach pains, horribly itching T3-T5 area, forward head, body tilted to one side, stiff lower back, headaches, hunchback, and tinnitus. The tinnitus still exists, no change, sadly, and my back still itches, although a heck of a lot less these days, but most everything else improves or is gone. Chiropractic care is not a cure all. As Dr. W himself told me last week, if anyone says that one thing cures all, then he runs the other direction. Chiropractic care, however, is fundamental to one's health, and he definitely is good on what he does. He even started me on Alkaline water, which helps as well. He gave me a book to read on my health, so he definitely goes the extra mile. He is not big with me on x-rays. I gave him one from my old chiropractor and I presume he looked at it, so the middle picture below does not apply to me. My weight is not a problem, so my diet never came up in conversation. Having been to more than one chiropractor, I can say that Dr. W knows his profession and does it well. I am quite pleased with him. I guess my only disagreement is the notion that things can be cured in a couple of months time. To me, bones are like teeth, they do not move spontaneously. My hunchback is better, a lot better, but still a long way to go. My horribly itchy back is better, but work still remains. I should add that a patient has to do her/his job and not rely solely on a chiropractor. I do my exercises that he gives, try to have perfect posture and head position throughout the day, and do my wobble cushion exercises, as well as other things. My health is a joint effort between the two of us. My only complaint is that his office closes at 5:00 PM on the dot making going during the week impossible. I would have preferred that he works until 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM would be even nicer. The accept insurance is laughable. I never had health insurance that pays for chiropractic care. Maybe that is an east coast thing. read more

If you want the best, Randy Weinzoff is the best! A truly honest trustworthy guy who really knows what he's doing and is not trying to scam you like the first chiropractor I went to before him. I was recommended to him several years ago when I was having a problem with sciatica. I had it really bad to the point where I was having so much trouble walking I could barely make it across the street in time before the light would change. He had me do inversion table treatments and within a month I could feel the pain subsiding and somewhere between 4 to 6 months it was gone all together! One time I had a rib out of alignment after an intense yoga session and he very quickly diagnosed the problem and popped the rib back into place. It was immediate relief. On another occasion my neck was misaligned and the surrounding muscles had tightened up after a gym workout - again, Dr Randy was able to quickly and easily get things back in place and the pain was gone. I have been Randy's patient for about five years now and can't say enough good things about him. Before meeting Randy, I suffered from a serious ocular headache pain directly above my right eye socket. For about a week, the pain was unbearable - as bad as the worst migraine imaginable and nobody could help me. I initially went to the emergency room as the pain and vision problems increased, then to several eye doctor specialists including Jules Stein. I even had an MRI done and nobody could figure out the problem. All they could offer was pain medication.
