I first learned about this place through my gym membership I…read moresaw that they offer Pickleball 101 for free and decided to try it out The pickleball 101 happens every 2 weeks and it's the best place to learn how to play pickleball After that we have started coming to this place and got their membership, it's $49.99 per month and includes both locations when the south side opens up. I've look at other pickleball places and I think this has the best deal when it comes to memberships! I like that this is indoors and year round! All the people I've met have been friendly and helpful and cannot recommend this place enough

I've spent some time at both locations and overall had a great experience at the east side. It's…read moreabout a 20+ minute drive for me, which is still doable. This location tends to have more people signed up for open play, so you do need to be quick about registering or be ready to join the waitlist. Unlike the newer facility, you do have to complete an assessment here (around $25) before joining open play, but it helps keep the games well matched. I really like that both locations offer "drills and skills" classes to help improve your game, and I'm hoping to join one soon. The only small downside is that the space between courts isn't separated by barriers, so balls can easily roll into other courts and interrupt games. I usually don't wait very long to jump into another game as they have their rotation system down. Overall, I think the membership is definitely worth trying, especially if you plan on taking advantage of both facilities.

Back in 2023, I attended a lively event hosted at Tinker House Events in the heart of downtown…read moreIndy. It was one of the most memorable Pride events I've been to presented by Indy Pride due to the unique venue and atmosphere. This past Wednesday, I had another opportunity to visit Tinker House for a Sound Bath presented by BFF Indy. It was a very different experience as the intention was a more meditative one opposed to a party with a DJ the last time I was there. It was still daylight when I arrived and mostly empty which made it convenient and ideal to explore the bridal suite and take pictures of the venue without any obstructions. The Sound Bath was held on the dance floor with lots of natural light surrounding us. I love the idea of the Sound Bath in this fun space. Although, I've had them in the past at a yoga studio which was MUCH quieter. My constructive criticism is that there is too much noise coming from the traffic outside (especially because this was at 5pm during rush hour) even on the second story of the building to relax and get the full benefits of a Sound Bath. There were no blankets, pillows or yoga mats either which isn't necessarily the responsibility of Tinker House but still something to be noted for future events. BFF Indy should have given attendees a heads up to bring their own supplies because sitting on a hard wood floor where people dance and walk on with shoes that have just been outside downtown is rather off putting and took away from the overall experience. The facilitator did an amazing job all things considered. I will go back for events in the future just not if they are supposed to be relaxing. Tinker House is ideal for social gatherings like weddings and parties. The decor is aesthetically appealing and very well thought out. There is a ambient bar/lounge on the first floor in addition to the one upstairs. There is limited parking in front of the building and a coffee shop next door.

It's a co-working space, for those who have small businesses or work from home. The guy working the front (Ja'ir) was so kind and helpful, he answered all of our questions and told us a little bit about the place. The name P30 reflects where it is, which is 30th and post. He informed us that the facility is for the community, to rebrand the far east side, I love that! Inside you'll find a coffee shop, which wasn't open when I came, but I'd love to come back and try it out. They offer day passes to utilize what they have to offer or you can become a member. The building is fairly new and each room has a name that relates to the east side. The room we worked in was called "The Mitt" which refers to the street "Mitthoefer." They have gender neutral restroom along with designated women/men restroom stalls. The restrooms were clean, but the water to wash my hands was very cold. They have a large parking lot for easy access. I'm thinking of using a day pass to have a study session, try the coffee, and explore more of what this place has to offer.

They have different prices for memberships or to rent out a suite. I find P30 to be very nice especially for the community out on 30th and Post. The worker Ja'ir had explained to me the meaning behind P30 the last time I was there. I had enjoyed my talk with his because you can understand the passion behind P30 especially with them trying to pour into the community out there and to help the community to understand they too can be business people. There is a coffee shop inside there but it wasn't open when I was there. I see the prices are very reasonable. If you are looking for a space to work out of definitely check out P30 if you are in the area and need something because they give out day passes.
