This Hall is located on the side of the desolate Washing Square Mall. It may not look like much on the outside, but that is far from reality. I have attended a few events here. The latest one being the Breakfast with the Grinch. This is a very nice venue that has tons of parking available. The themes that they do are awesome. I seen Alice in Wonderland, the Grinch, Batman, and Star Wars. They had first class decorations and activities. The Hall has many separate rooms of different sizes to suit your needs and they have catering, bar tenders and MCs/DJs. If you need a photographer, face painter of ballon artist they got you covered. The staff there is very personable and friendly. They throw some first class events like a Daddy/Daughter Dance, Mommy/Son Dance, and the Grinch Breakfast. The facility is awesome and I am impressed as to how they decorate the rooms. They are creative and innovative. My littles had a blast and cant wait until the next event. It would have been a five star rating, if they events would have went just a bit smoother. Some of the activities lines were way long and no one knew exactly what to do about it at some of the events. A bit more organization and this place is easily a five star joint. In addition to their signature events, you can rent the facility for special events such as birthdays, anniversaries, Holiday parties, Office parties and weddings. If you are looking for a facility to host your next event, this place should be at the top of you list. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed. read more

I was pleasantly surprised but this venue was great and intimate for my nieces baby shower! And we felt safe with security right at the door which was really great! My family hosted an event here and we couldn't have been more pleased with the venue and customer service. During the planning there was a misunderstanding that made our guest of honor upset...the owner did everything she could plus some to make it right. This is the kind of customer service that people should receive in any business. The venue is absolutely stunning, everything about it down to the smallest details you wouldn't even think of. Every space I walked into I was in awe. I couldn't believe some of the decor it was just that gorgeous. The building is older (I believe it used to be LS'Ayers--I'm old enough to remember that store) but with all of the beautiful decor, that can be overlooked with ease. We will def use this venue again (I can't stand the east side of Indy but I will travel there for this venue) and I recommend everyone do the same! Note: you can only setup an hour before your event (was not a problem for us) but that def should change. Setup takes a long time and an hour isn't enough. One of the most awesome event centers you could hold an event in. The owner (Ms. Chesia) very personable and professional. The set uppa was beautiful and the extra touch to the background of the honorees table was gorgeous!!! Definitely five star worthy and then some!!! I visited the silver center last week for a birthday party and was overly impressed at how amazing the space and decor was. The facilities were new, clean, and well kept. The owner is really great with event planning and all of her unique touches. She also is rather professional. It looks like they have multiple spaces for different size events, even concerts/shows. I look forward to doing business here in the future and working with he Silver Centre staff. I don't know about how it works if you wish to use the space prior to the time agreed as stated in other reviews. However, as a tenured employee in the hospitality industry -I would assume it's not free to use a space prior to when agreed and paid for. Only makes sense. I mean, it's a business right? read more

This place is just awful. I am still in awe at the blatant unprofessional-ism of the lead staff at this facility. On Friday I arrived around 5:45p to help set up for a friends b'day party. It was extremely cold in the building. The event was slated to start at 7, so when we noticed that the room was still not warming up, we became greatly concerned. One of the party organizers repeatedly attempted to contact the owner to try to rectify the problem. The guest begin to arrive and the room is still cold. When I checked the thermostat it read 55 degrees. The party begins, guests arrive, and the situation is still not rectified. To make matters worse, one of the birthday girls is wheelchair bound and has severe health issues including issues with her respiratory system. It was so cold in the building that she could not enter it. She had to remain in her heated van until we could get her bundled up enough to enter the building. What an awful way to spend part of your birthday celebration. Things continued to fall apart. There were issues with the sound. The poor security guard had to come up to assist. Additionally every time the photographer took a photo using his flash, the lights flickered. After awhile it because incredibly annoying. I will say that I appreciate the security guard, Nick, for taking the time to apologize for these issues and assisting when he was able. He was not responsible for these problems. It was even more appalling to learn that the on-site manager sat in her office and did not appear once to my knowledge to help troubleshoot. Another friend spent most of the night trying to reach the owner. This night was supposed to be a special night for a dear friend, but it was marred by the gross negligence of the facility. I would highly recommend NOT using this facility. I understand technical issues, but there lack of care and inability to troubleshoot is concerning. People book events at facilities such as this because they want to enjoy a truly special and magical evening that will create memories that last a life time. This facility can't seem to respect that basic fundamental value of event planning. This is truly a shame! read more

I am looking to host my birthday party here this year because of how good of quality service they provide and the creativity in the work shown for special events. My husband and I wanted to do something different for his BIG 40th bday party we contacted several different Venues The Silver Centre by far gave us the most bang for our bucks! The venue was very clean, very modernized and most of all we didn't have to do anything the event planner handled it all! From decor, caterers, Dj, band, the cake you name it she make it happen! The staff was so professional every time I called no matter how much I called, they did all they could to help! The owner took our idea and make it something we couldn't have ever imagined! Why is it so difficult to for me to get reimbursed for the Daddy Daughter event that dates back to March 2016. I've been trying to resolve this since AUGUST 2016 after the event was officially canceled after 2-3 date changes. My bank card went from Master Card to Visa, way after the tickets were purchased. A decent establishment would just give me back the 48.11 I paid by whatever means, I'm pretty sure it isn't a long line of customers in my similar situation asking for their funds to be returned to a new bank card. To me that is how you build a repore with your customer particularly when I told you we were new to the area another solution would have be to keep the money and apply it toward the event that suppose to take place February 2017. This is The worst customer service ever, as I stated previously we are a military family and was very much looking forward to this wonderful experience as well as supporting local businesses. I've reached out via Facebook or emails on the following dates Apr 20, Aug 11, Sep 4, Sep 8, Nov 5 with lack luster response. I was trying to be courteous and respectful, but you have not properly responded so I will try it this way. You do not get the right to take my hard earned money and not provide a service or solution to the issue that I paid for. Please resolve this issue. read more

Recently attended a wedding reception at this location. I am sad for the group that paid for this location after I found out how much was paid and what was expected from this booking. I know being served a roast dinner on paper plates with plastic silverware was not what was intended. We were informed dinner would be served late as all the guests were too early. I believe food was supposed to be served at 6:30 but it was not served until 7:30. I ended up clearing tables after dinner and trying to throw trash into the over stuffed trash cans. Not once were they emptied or replaced throughout the entire duration. Somebody broke a glass vase during the evening and I asked for a broom to pick up the mess. They did not offer to clean it themselves, just pointed to the broom. The overall ambiance of the reception was ok but that was due to good lighting and a nice DJ (provided by the customer). I feel sad that the happy couple had a reception that felt so cheesy and tacky when I know that's not what they were expecting. After this experience I would never rent this hall for myself and I would never recommend it. read more

The pictures you see online are nothing like what is delivered. The owners are hard to work with and don't take ownership of their mistakes. This event hall has a policy- renters can't enter the hall until an hour before the event. If it's more than an hour before, there is an extra fee. We arrived an hour before- the linens weren't ready, which means we couldn't get our center pieces down until the linens on the tables were down. They didn't get there until 15 minutes before the event. Huge inconvenience. When I pointed this out to the assistant manager, she said there was nothing anyone could do about it. She took absolutely no ownership of any of the problems, actually. There was a stage being constructed in our room, and they were supposed to be out by 6:45. They didn't leave until 7:30, and the stage wasn't even completely covered with carpet. When I told her the stage was an issue, she said it wasn't because the DJ had a place. I told her it was still an issue because it was ugly (uncovered) and she said "that's your opinion." She still never took ownership. She then refused to talk to me, deciding only to speak to the girl who was in charge of the event. They wouldn't even try and find curtains to cover up the half-covered stage. She later said that there was no guarantee that the stage would be covered- which is fine! If we would have known that it wouldn't be covered, we could have brought materials to cover it. However, we had no idea it was even going to be not covered. Completely ridiculous. I'll never book an event there again. read more
