They scheduled our follow up visit during our first visit. Vetco scheduled it, we didn't, VETCO told us when to return. Upon arrival at the scheduled follow up visit on 6/13, VETCO said we were two weeks late for a followup, refused to give our puppy her booster shots and wanted to charge us all over again. The vet hid behind a divider while the associate talked to me, talked to her, then back to me. They weren't busy, no other pets were being seen, they had texted me asking me to come in early because they had no other pets coming in. The vet hid and I was told I was lying, that they didn't and wouldn't have made the appt for 6/13. The 6/13 appt note, on Petco/Vetco personalized notepaper, is literally stapled on the blue folder with receipt from the first visit on 5/2. Of course I reported this to Vetco's main number, someone took a report and said I'd get a follow up. I sent a detailed report to Vetco online as well. It's 6/21, no followup from Vetco's main office either. I guess they're hiding like the vet at the store. I'm out the money, my dog is now definitely behind in boosters, Vetco doesn't care. We had a crappy visit with the Vetco total care in Cedar Hill too, but that's another story. We were hoping the clinic in Irving would be better.

This cute baby chinchilla is only home for less than 2 weeks. He is already bonded with us and become everyone's favorite. The owner Chuck is very friendly and gave me a lot of useful info on the pickup day, including the parents and grand parents' info of my baby chinchilla. And also gave me about a month of his current food supply so that my chinchilla can have a smooth diet transition at his new home. If I ever plan to get a second chinchilla, I will always come back to lone star chinchilla!
