After some time received a call by the shop to ask if It was okay if they removed my defrost completely to do the back window I then said no it was okay to leave it alone they said okay NEVER once mentioned they removed half the tint it originally had already. the owner Robert confirmed with someone at his shop that they never mentioned they had started removing half the tint if they had i would have said just finish it then. they returned my back window like the second picture. I called to file a complaint and the owner Robert who I was dealing with last name and he said for me to file a complaint under shop name and just hung up on me Robert is extremely unprofessional. Needless to say it wasn't the best thing to wake up to in the morning. I called around to check out how much it would cost to have someone come to my mom's to fix it. The first couple of places I called gave me outrages quotes,ie. So finally I called TGS auto glass and I told them what happened. Jay asked me to text or e-mail him a picture of the damage and called me back within 20 minutes with a quote and estimated time of arrival. He was there on time and got right to work he explained everything that he was about to do and was done in little less than an hour. After he finished he wrote up the bill and explained each cost, I really felt that he was extremely honest, professional and friendly. Thanks again for all the help! I spoke directly with the manager, and instead of taking responsibility for the damage caused by their technician, he refused to take accountability. I was then told by Frank that he would inform the manager and that I would receive a call back, but that never happened. It feels like they are avoiding responsibility and hoping the issue just goes away. Mistakes can happen, but how a business handles them matters. In this case, the lack of accountability and follow-up was very disappointing. Beware of taking your vehicle to this location. If something gets damaged, don't expect them to stand behind their work.
