There is a waiting/viewing area downstairs and upstairs to watch the kids behind the glass. The walls and ceilings are lined with trophies and banners. You can see the big kids in the back doing all their spins on the un even bars, backflips on the mats and twirls on the high beam. Made me realize oh this is a legit gymnastics school.Lols I've spoken to the owner Kristin a few times and she's very nice, she is also one of the coaches for the classes. It's been almost two months and my 6 year old still loves her gymnastics class. Her coach Christina is great and supportive. The first 20ish min of class they do a lot of strengthening moves and stretching. Then they focus on techniques. The last 5 minutes they play a game on the trampoline. Here's why: After moving to a different area we uprooted our girls from DB Gymnastics to a different competing gym. My girls now 7 & 5 yrs old couldn't even do a back handspring and little one couldn't even do a back walkover. The new competing gym had my girls doing these moves in less than 2 months proficiently for my oldest and 6 months for my little one. The new gym begins working on these moves at a much earlier age than DB gymnastics. I also noticed the difference in coaching between the two gyms. DB was good but obviously not nearly as hands-on as new gym. Overall, our family had a good experience with DB Gymnastics but after comparison my girls could've gotten a lot more out of it.

Either shorten the class sizes, have more "coaches" with the younger ones, or allow a parent-tot class where parents can help guide their kid.

I was invited to D-Bat by my niece as she's training for her upcoming college softball season…read more It's nice to see indoor batting cages are available as it's quite miserable outdoors to be hitting balls for an hour. The cage we used was in good shape- the floors, the netting, etc. The speed, the type of pitch and the pitch location are all able to be selected prior to entering the cage from a screen outside. The pitches were quite accurate to the settings we chose and almost every pitch was a strike, so you're not wasting your time with poor pitches. The downsides were limited, but included waiting about 3-5mins for the machines to rotate between baseballs and softballs. I also found it difficult to time up the pitches as the tubing to deliver the ball to the machine was short and not completely transparent, and once the ball hit those wheels it was halfway to me. Being a guest, I'm not sure what the membership rates are or what the price for individual sessions cost, but my niece said it's reasonable. Having hit in most of the batting cages in the East Valley, I'm trusting her input. Thanks D-Bat for a fun time

When Coach Will reached out, we learned our daughter would be the only girl on the team. While a refund was offered, she chose to continue. Practices were scheduled once a week in a dedicated gym on Mondays, and Coach Will even added a Sunday practice at a park during the first week, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, by the second week, Coach Will was unable to attend practices. My husband and another parent stepped in to help, but the situation deteriorated from there. Coach Will eventually informed them he could not attend any Monday practices and asked them to cover. Additional practices he scheduled were often canceled at the last minute, and he was even late to a game, leaving my husband and the other parent to manage until he arrived. In the week leading up to the playoffs, he scheduled two extra practices--one organized by another parent and one by himself--but when a parent mentioned her child couldn't attend because they weren't on the regular schedule, Coach Will stated in the group chat that if a player missed, they wouldn't start in the game. This felt unreasonable given the inconsistent schedule and repeated cancellations. He ultimately did not attend the Thursday practice, asking the other parents to cover again, which was impossible. While my daughter enjoyed playing with the boys and the game facilities and referees were excellent, the inconsistent coaching and lack of reliability from Coach Will made the experience frustrating and disappointing. If the coaching had been better, we would have returned, but unfortunately, it felt like a waste of our time and money.
