Alas, they were out of Pawpaw trees! I went to MCG and found a selection of Pawpaws! Yay! I also browsed plants and took pictures of several I might integrate into my backyard oasis this year. I put my name down on a list for pink Muhly grass and am looking forward to a call when they come in. Additionally I found a South Carolina Allspice to add to our yard for fragrance. Last fall I went in looking for an evergreen shrub for my sloped yard and bought 2 Coastal Doghobbles. They are lovely and happily growing where they can help stabilize soil on the terraced slope. I will keep returning to MCG for native plants even though it's a 30 minute drive from my house because they have the best selection of native plants AND they are well organized with excellent staff!

My Bride and I came here a couple weeks ago to look at Grills and a Big Green Egg. The young man was knowledgeable but he really encouraged us to come back and speak to Donnie. In short I bought the Large Egg and a new Webber Grill for those quick burgers when I don't have a lot of time. Customer service is outstanding!! Will be back!!

They were great, came out to my car, and programmed it, and saved me a few bucks.

I never took possession of the items in question so I called back to tell them they were no longer needed. As per their website as long as they are returned within seven days, they are entitled to a full refund. Harry brought the return policy up and Dolores told me "well there is a restocking fee". Dolores made up her own rules and decided this purchase warranted a 25% restocking fee. Nowhere on their website is that Explained, nor was it explained to me verbally. Be cautious when purchasing. Slight correction Wally as well as Dolores both make up their rules on the fly. Nowhere on their website is this stated but my credit card company is already on it so all is well.

Had such a great time at Seven Oaks Plant Shop!…read more I really enjoyed getting to explore the greenhouse and learn more about beginner vegetable gardening. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, walking us through everything from choosing the right plants to properly potting and caring for them. There was a great selection of vegetables, herbs, flowers, and other plants--I saw everything from cabbage, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts to basil, thyme, mint, chives, and eucalyptus. I loved that they had local vendors as well. One of my favorite parts was the hands-on planting portion. It was informative without feeling overwhelming, and I definitely walked away knowing more than when I came in. The whole place has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, and you can tell the people here genuinely enjoy helping others grow things successfully. Whether you already have a green thumb or, like me, could use a little guidance , Seven Oaks Plant Shop is definitely worth checking out. Great local spot, great people, and a fun experience all around!
