The waiter was kind and gave me food suggestions when I told him I don't know Turkish food.
However, the owners don't seem to take care of the restaurant with 1: the men's toilet 2: electronic payment terminal 3: wi-fi out of service for the moment.
There is no lunch menu (or at least non was offered to me) and paying almost 10 GBP for my main course (rice with a kind of meat filled dumplings and yoghurt dressing) was expensive.
My glass was empty during most of my lunch but that didn't call the waiter's attention.
The upstairs part is for eat in, downstairs take away. That means people walking in for take-away are not disturbing the customers dining in. The seats are fairly hard, and there are neon lights, some of which continuously change colour. Perhaps due to it's shape or stone walls, the place seemed to be loud even with only a few customers there.
Side note: I cannot judge on the quality of the food as I don't know Turkish food, but both my starter (feta cheese rolled into pastry) and my main were little spectacular. Certainly bland. read more
