Ordered a cocktail to be told they didn't have the ingredients. I was offered a cocktail not on the menu but apparently was nice. Well it wasn't. When asked how it was by our host I was honest. About 20 minutes later I was offered a replacement cocktail on the house. Ordered a mixed shish, the lamb was completely pink. I didn't want to complain as felt I had already been negative about my cocktail. When our host came to take our plates she noticed the pink lamb and apologised, said she would speak to the chef. She didn't mentioned anything more to us about it. The bill came and it was £70pp. We did have a three course meal, 1 alcoholic drink each and a coffee so I'm not disputing the price but was very disappointed in paying this for food that was way below average. The restaurant was not very busy for a Saturday night. Nice music and a great live singer. However due to lack in quality of food and the host not acknowledging this I won't be returning. We ordered Hummus Kavurma, one other appetiser I cant remember the name, mixed grill and some thick cut chips as a side dish. The bread they serve is light warm and delicate with a lovely sprinkle of rosemary accompanied with rich butter topped with walnuts. Seriously yummy. The meat in the mixed grill platter was juicy, soft and perfectly seasoned. The dessert we ordered oh my god sweet heaven on a plate it was just something else I absolutely loved it. I had some of the best Chicken Shish here around. The new potatoes were absolutely amazing and the hummus was so good. My date loved the Vegetarian Moussaka. You can not go wrong at this place.
