The staff never stop smiling and are very friendly and approachable. The hummus is wonderful and their salads are topped of with pomegranate sauce giving them a pleasant taste. There's subtle traditional music and TV so the men Dont miss their sports to keep them happy. There's a small bar that has traditional Turkish beer efes. And more traditional drinks if your not a beer drinker. They host wonderful parties for special occasions and do take away so you can enjoy it at home too! Overall greatly pleased with my meal and service here and that's rare for me. Recommended best Turkish restaurant in Hertfordshire!!!!

It's a nice sized restaurant with indoor seating only. The dim lighting and candles on the tables made for a very romantic atmosphere. Though olives and bread are provided at no charge, we were feeling piggish and ordered starters. The baby garlic mushrooms are to die for...I could have drank an entire vat of that garlic and cheese sauce! For the main I had the turlu (a mix of roasted veggies and spices) and my husband had the vegetable musakka (a lasagna-esque dish) and both were excellent. I wanted to lick my plate clean afterwards and would have if there weren't so many people sitting near us! Both mains were served with rice and salad and the portions were pretty good-sized. I felt like I was back in America with the exceptional service. Both our waiter and another were constantly at our table asking how everything was and offering to refill our drinks. I have missed good customer service! But, the most impressive part of the evening was the bill--we both had a three-course meal, wine and coffees and it came to only £37.00. I expeced a good deal more for such a nice restaurant and all that food. You're awesome Manolya!

The quality and delivery of Turkish cuisine is consistently the same. I really like to go on Sunday lunch because you can get a three course meal for two for only £19. Please see the pictures I took and added to see what you can get in the deal. We got a delicious cold mezze appetizer with fresh baked bread. It was to die for. Followed with a mixed meat selection with pilaf rice and a yogurt and spicy dipping sauces. It was probably the best meal I've had at Dalyan/Turkuaz. My favorite so far. It came with fresh salad, tomatoes, pickled cabbage and carrots. For desert we were served fresh fruit, an assortment of honey dew melon, oranges, and kiwi and two baklavas. It was delicious. I was struggling to finish all three courses, but thoroughly enjoyed myself. The waiter is awesome because he helped us chose our lunch and helped us get the most for our money and he suggested the special because it came with the most food and on top of that it was delicious! I can't wait to go to Dalyan again. I highly suggest it!

Our waiter let us taste several wines before we chose. However, everything on the menu is priced about 2-3£ more than comparable places in Cambridge. This makes for a slightly more expensive dinner and hinders us from making it a regular place. But we definitely enjoyed it!

But let me tell you...this is SO much more than just another kebab shop! I wish I could tell you what we ordered, but I can't. Mine was a stewed lamb atop hot bits of pita and slathered in their house sauce (like sour cream.) Oh good lawd IT WAS SO GOOD! Also equally delish was the hummus and pita. Service was super, food was amazing. Do yourself a favor and visit! I wish we were locals so we could eat our way through the entire menu. P.S. They do Uber Eats/new delivery if that's more convenient for you!

OMG! So much food…read more Between the 2 of us, we ordered 1 main course (iskander kebab) and 3 starters (sausages, imam bayildi - stuffed aubergine and falafel). The food was all super tasty, but we had so much leftover! Both of us had skipped lunch and were having early dinner, but we barely put a dent on the amount of food that arrived. As soon as we ordered, we were brought Turkish style bread lovingly buttered and 4 different dips (hummus, minty yoghurt, cheese and a tomato one). This itself would have been a sufficient meal for us both. The falafel came settled on a bowl of hummus. The side salad with the main arrived in a plate of its own. Service was very fast and the lady serving us was lovely as were the line of chefs we passed by on our way in and out. When you peep through he window, it looks like a tiny kebab place, but they have really comfortable seating at the back. Some of the other places we wanted to eat at in Camden on a Friday night were completely full, so we entered this place on a whim, but left completely dated and satisfied.

A perfect restaurant on the river if you have a stop over at Stansted airport or happen to be in…read morethis quaint town of Bishops Stortford. For a layover: Just hop the train from the Stansted airport, it is the first stop. The train costs seven pounds (including the return fare...don't forget to book it together) and it is about a 7-10 minute train ride. As soon as you exit the arrivals gate you go through the the food court and straight down the ramp to the "Stansted Express" train. Donte get fooled by the bus line. If you don't go down a ramp then you are not buying a train ticket. The train ticket machines take cash and use credit cards. They give change if you don't have small bills. Simply pick the stop as Bishops Stortford and then add in first or regular class (first isn't worth the extra money, it is junk). To find this great dining spot just get off of the train and turn right and then head towards town. Turn left on a somewhat industrial street and cross the bridge. The first street to your right will take you to the restaurant and the second street takes you to the little downtown. When you get to the corner with Witherspoon's and Port Cafe look to your right across the river again and you will see Skew. It is a Turkish restaurant with vegetarian options even though the name or decor doesn't look Turkish. Looks more like an upscale club environment. The service and food was impeccable. Check out my photos to see the real food and description as well as the menu. I'd definitely go back! Make the first left and then the first right and you'll see on your right. It is a little bit hidden so if you see the Weatherspoon or MNS food hall or snap fitness you were at the right spot.to head and make a quick right your first left into town and the first right and you will look to the right there is the river and and Witherspoon and then you will also see SKEW Weatherspoon is more of a chain restaurant versus SKUW which is upscale with wonderful prices and service.
