Jimmy's Tree Service just left my property. They removed one diseased oak and lifted 5 normal size…read moreoaks and one giant oak. These trees had not had any care in 5 years. They did a phenomenal job. First, the arborist came and walked the property with me assessing each tree and determining what needed to be done. Then they scheduled according to my days off. Next, the team arrived, on time, at 8 am today. Their crew lead walked the property with me to ensure that what was on the quote was still what I wanted. Then they went directly to work. WOW! A well-oiled machine. Periodically the crew lead would ask me to look at one thing or another and tell them what I would prefer. And then the cleanup. Amazing. Raked almost my entire yard of all oak leaves. Blew off the roof, driveway, sidewalk, back patio. They even took the dead palm fronds from my other plants! I should add that the cost was lower than I had anticipated by several hundred dollars based on other estimates.

I had an Aborist determine the cost of the damage and it was starting at a minimum of $30,000. I have sent a demand notice to them for Compensation and they rejected the certified letter. They claim to have insurance but have not filed a claim. They have been avoiding us. So at some point now we will have to take legal action to collect for damages. We are retired, and rely on the fruit trees we have on our property. We sell the fruit (organic avg. $2.50 ea.) This helps pay taxes and other expenses. If I was looking for a tree service, I would read my complaint a couple times before you hire anyone. Take this all in for consideration.

I didn't have to call several times to get an estimate or pester for a response. They were on site when they said they would be and did the job they said they'd do, and, at a great price too. We had some tricky property issues that they were willing to work with us on. The guys were very friendly and did a great job on a property with a LOTS of trees. We had a few removed, trimmed, ground clearing, thinning of palms, lots of work done in a very short time. I will definitely be using Osteen Properties again. Highly recommended.

They successfully downed a huge tree and plenty of palms on my property. I have a couple regrets…read morethough: - They didn't get the suckers (tiny branches on limbs) on my trees. - They cut down limbs on top of my roof with nothing protecting the roof underneath. Chainsaw-to-limb-to-shingles. They bent an exhaust pipe on my roof. As far as I know, they didn't cut into the roof, but they didn't take precautions. - They tore up my yard with their skid steer and crushed irrigation pipes. It was healthy before and now it's a mud pit. Fine, grass can come back, but prepare yourself for a messed up yard. - The stumps were left tall with jagged breaks, so if you have kids, it will be dangerous for them. There were straight-up wooden swords on the stumps. When I called to ask them to come back out to help me out with some of the things above, they ghosted me. For the amount of money I paid (more than $5k) I expect safety and professionalism. Look, they're good at their job (downing trees), but if you want good service, you might check elsewhere first.
