My husband & I like that we were asked if the job was satisfactory before their departure- it's nice to not have to call a contractor back to fix or finish a job. I had an Aborist determine the cost of the damage and it was starting at a minimum of $30,000. I have sent a demand notice to them for Compensation and they rejected the certified letter. They claim to have insurance but have not filed a claim. They have been avoiding us. So at some point now we will have to take legal action to collect for damages. We are retired, and rely on the fruit trees we have on our property. We sell the fruit (organic avg. $2.50 ea.) This helps pay taxes and other expenses. If I was looking for a tree service, I would read my complaint a couple times before you hire anyone. Take this all in for consideration.

Kyle said he would swing by in the afternooon that day and he showed up after an obvious tough days work.. He looked at the tree, gave me a price and said he would cut it immediately. The tree rings needed to be reestablished.Zoe & his right hand worker came. I explained somethings and they got to work. To say that the BLACK mulch was so black it was amazing.( I used to get the junk in the bags from one of the 2 box stores.) It Pops in my beds against all my green & Flowering plants. I initially thought Shayne's Services was great when they first came out and helped identify the…read moresprinkler lines under my new driveway project. Unfortunately, things went downhill when they returned after the driveway installation. I wasn't home when the driveway crew put sod down, but Shayne immediately came in frustrated and upset about it, even though I had no knowledge of the situation and assumed it was all part of the irrigation process. The overall experience became uncomfortable. It felt like the work was dragged out unnecessarily, and they replaced sprinkler heads in the backyard that were already functioning properly. I was then charged a much higher amount than what had originally been discussed. When we got to the backyard, I was told there were broken pipes under the pool deck, but no estimate or clear pricing could be provided. The conversation escalated into an argument, and I ultimately asked them to leave the property because I no longer felt comfortable. He even made comments about the cameras on my property, which added to the tension. In the end, we disputed the invoice because additional charges including trencher equipment that I believed should have been included as part of the project were added without being clearly discussed upfront. After pushing back, we eventually settled somewhere in the middle. I always try to support local businesses, but communication, transparency, and professionalism matter. Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed.
