That someone was two men, a woman, and one chainsaw. One of the men spent the next 30 minutes trying to start the saw. One of the men never got out of the truck. To our disbelief, that man commenced trying to cut a 40-foot queen palm down with the women standing in the line of fall. We yelled at him to stop. We called the company representative. The two men and the woman left. The company representative rescheduled the work for today 7.11.2026. No one showed up. So we called the company. The representative on the phone said they had an equipment problem, and if we were in a hurry, perhaps we should consult another company. You'd best have a lot of time and liability insurance on hand to deal with Optimum Tree Care. This company is anything but "optimum". Richard S.

I'm very happy with their work and would fully recommend Jack's Tree Services.

Not knowing much about tree trimming as a new homeowner, I made sure to get multiple quotes. I learned that a lot of these tree businesses say they're certified and they're really not. Having a TRULY CERTIFIED Arborist, allowed me to not stress as limbs came down over my roof. Not to mention I didn't have to worry about permitting, being that they are truly certified. (Other companies will tell you it's the customer's job to acquire permits). As it can be hard to find trustworthy companies in the area, I've already recommended them to all my neighbors! Thank you!

Chainsaw-to-limb-to-shingles. They bent an exhaust pipe on my roof. As far as I know, they didn't cut into the roof, but they didn't take precautions. - They tore up my yard with their skid steer and crushed irrigation pipes. It was healthy before and now it's a mud pit. Fine, grass can come back, but prepare yourself for a messed up yard. - The stumps were left tall with jagged breaks, so if you have kids, it will be dangerous for them. There were straight-up wooden swords on the stumps. When I called to ask them to come back out to help me out with some of the things above, they ghosted me. For the amount of money I paid (more than $5k) I expect safety and professionalism. Look, they're good at their job (downing trees), but if you want good service, you might check elsewhere first.
