Walking into the Irish Wolfhound is truly stepping across the pond. The vibe is very authentic Irish pub with heavy, dark wood bar and tables eith comfortable chairs - I wish there were more booths but I guess I'm just picky. Our dinner food came out quickly and was hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. We also ordered dessert, which vame out quickly, but was not as impressive as our main courses. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I look forward to many more delicious nights here!

I don't mean to brag, but I've been to Ireland once. But after going here it feels like I've been twice. They actually pour Guinness the right way, just like how they showed me at the Guinness factory (humble brag). The food and atmosphere are also almost identical to what you can get at the Emerald Isle. Really great find, great service too. Love how it's locally owned as well. Only complaint is on St Patrick's day, the food and drinks are all very different and not as good. But you're really there for the party atmosphere on that day. The rest of the 364 days this place is top notch

This experience was a let down. My husband wanted fish and chips. The first place we were going to order from did not take orders over the phone. I thought about this restaurant because it's next to our favorite Mexican restaurant. We called and placed a to go order for Fish & Chips. She made it sound appealing. It would be ready in 10 minutes. When we arrived there was a sign that said please seat yourself. However, there was no direction for picking up an order. I walked over to the right employee and asked where I would pick up. She stated the name and I confirmed. When she realized I was paying with cash when went to get the food. FYI There is a cc surcharge which is taken off if paying with cash. My husband was disappointed with the entire meal including the breaded fish fillet, fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce. No flavor. It did not live up to expectations.

Last night was my first time visiting this Pub. I thought it held a cute little Irish Pub feel that I've only seen on tv. Our waitress was amazing (the ticket said Katrina) so hopefully that was her. There was a live band there as well. I must say that the fish sandwich was delicious. And I got the Guinness flight to try out. There's also a jug called a growler for $25 and your first beer fill is free. If you're a frequent patron, refills are $19. There were also people in the back playing pool and I saw a couple of kids. In all I enjoyed the food, service and ambiance.

Absolutely loved the food and the place! We ate outside they have shades, fans, and heaters. We went at 6 and the sun was almost down so it was perfect. Inside was full but outside wasn't. Perfect for kids too! Great menu and all the food was so yummy! Must try the desserts too! Food was quick to come out and get everything we needed even on a Friday night

Went on a Sunday to watch a football game. Place was busy and it took awhile to get acknowledged/provided a drink. The staff were working very hard-it appeared they needed extra staff for a Packer game. We sat at the bar and Hannah was a top notch server. Very attentive and friendly. Seemed to know the " regulars"/what they drink etc. (Always good for a bartender!) Enjoyed the make your own Bloody Mary bar but some beef stick/cheese garnish would be good! This is a Packer bar! My husband had fish sandwich and fries. Said it was great. Large portion of flaky properly cooked fish on tasty bun. I had the Philly sandwich and coleslaw. Very good-enough for 2 people. Lots of TVs to watch the game, plenty of tables and great outdoor space. Can't go wrong with an Irish bar! Glad we stopped in for first time. We will return in future.

Saint Patty's day event was fun and festive. Live music and Irish dancers made it fun. Drink prices were good. There was a fixed menu for St. Patrick's Day, which limited options which you can understand based on crowds and restaurant ability to accommodate. I recommend for a fun Irish celebration and traditional Irish menu.

We stopped in before the big 12 baseball championship game for some food and had a great time…read more I ordered the PB&J burger. It had been a while since I'd had a burger with peanut butter on it - I always enjoy the balance of a savory burger with creamy peanut butter and some sweet jelly - it was even better that the peach jelly had a jalapeño kick to it! The bacon on the burger was also really crisp and the burger had a delicious charred crust on it. We got our little one a cheese pizza - the size was fantastic (we couldn't even finish it). My husband and his friend got a couple beers as well and service was great. We would definitely be back if we were in the area

Generally good value for money on the food but beware of the upcharge for truffle fries!…read more I have enjoyed eating at other State 48 locations and have been keen to try this one out. Upon entering, there is a stench from the bathrooms near the host stand. Not a great start. Service was very average. The kitchen added an extra ingredient that wasn't listed on the menu for the dish I ordered. When I inquired about it with my server he opted to tell me that this is how the dish is normally made despite 1) the ingredient not being listed on the menu 2) the fact that I've had this exact dish at the DTPHX location without the extra ingredient. I felt there was a missed opportunity by this server to care or try to take accountability. There is an unusually high upcharge (in my opinion) if you want to do truffle fries instead of regular fries with your entree. To be honest, I'd skip the extra $5 charge and just go with the regular fries, both are good but $5 is steep for some last min truffle oil, parm & parsley.. May give this location another try, perhaps for takeout next time.

Let's be honest. We all remember when it was Charley's…read more Just a simple desert water hole where you'd go to wash the dust out of your throat and hope the stool didn't break. Well, pack your horses, folks, because the owners have officially transformed this place into a certified jewel in the desert. They are constantly running around, hyper-active for the customers. The service and drinks here are so good it's almost suspicious. The staff operates like a finely tuned, highly caffeinated machine. Here is a breakdown of the local legends making it happen: Shae, Bobby, Madi, Ally,Ali, Jonathan, Red, Nicole, Ryan, Rosa, Chris, gloria, the list goes on. The staff produce immaculate vibes, you want all that then go to a place where the staff works harder than an air conditioner in July, you get your butt to the Red Zone. It's no longer just a place to hide from the sun--it's the crown jewel of the town.

Ugh... it pains me to write this but I have to know what happened here!…read more We moved back to the area in December of last year and tried just about every sports bar in the area and settled on Redzone because of the fantastic food and amazing service... food so good, we swore by it and visited over and over throughout the winter months for brunch, football games, lunches, dinners... you name it! Fast forward to our past two experiences in mid summer and we are questioning what the hell happened?? We dropped in on a Tuesday night after work for a quick bite and a beer only to be met with a very subpar, grizzly and chewy prime rib sandwich (our go to!!!) and a salad in which we were given Dijon mustard instead of the honey we asked for. No big deal, off night... we joked the B squad must have been in to close up early on a quiet night... A couple of weeks later we drop in for a brunch outing with the kids after a swim lesson and the experience was that much worse. We ordered a simple pancakes and eggs for the kids a Benedict and sandwich for us. The place wasn't busy but it took 40+ minutes for the food to arrive only to find pancakes that were barely cooked... literally dough, potatoes that seemed to be a mix of old and new (some severely undercooked and cold) and a veggie Benedict that came out 15 minutes after the rest with a runny and very sour tasting sauce, needless to say we didn't eat each much of it and ended up having to get food elsewhere. Really not sure what to make of it, the reviews suggest a similar Jekyll and Hyde situation where it's a crap shoot as to what you're going to get... it's all well and good being scratch made but if you can't cook the food it doesn't matter. With the price of eating out these days being so high, we will be needing to take our business elsewhere which is really unfortunate as we loved this place. Two stars because the wait staff is amazing and the beer choice is on point!
