I'm so glad I found Dr. Dzvonick. I've been dealing with Kaiser for the last 10 years and am…read moreabsolutely fed up with their one-size-fits-all approach to healthcare. I really felt like another number instead of a patient. Dr. Dzvonick is a great listener, is reasonable, and is clearly in this business to make a positive impact in his patients' lives. His services are worth every penny.

Bizarre First off,…read morewebsite is deceiving as it says $320 for a consult and lab tests. Only after I paid for my consult and the additional tests did the receptionist tell me the little "2" at the end of the description leads to a footnote where the tests are separate. So my bill was almost $900 for a 35 minute consult and one saliva hormone kit and a blood test. Make sure you read EVERYTHING on the website. My primary concern was dismissed by the doctor in the first 5 min. He asked to see my skin and told me he has the same type of moles on his skin, his moles were bigger, and that they aren't connected to anything hormonal, which was my concern. This is when I should have left, since he either didn't take me seriously or didn't know how to help me with that and just couldn't admit it. Then he took my pulse and literally accused me of trying to slow down my pulse. "It was normal but then you tried to slow it down." Uhh.. what??? It made me feel belittled, again. I ended up paying for the consult and tests, went home and realized I was pretty unhappy and this wasn't going to work out. I called the next day asking for a refund and to discontinue my journey with the doctor. Came into the office, was processed the refund for the tests only. Receptionist then hands me a letter from the doctor. It was like a bad break-up letter, lol. He states that he gives the same level of care to all other patients. If that's really so, then take your money elsewhere, where you won't be dismissed for something seemingly benign. He is happy to take a pretty hefty fee of $320 and not want to make it right if you're dissatisfied. Everyone has a right to post reviews. His tried to make his letter to me intimidating, so I perhaps wouldn't be honest about my experience on the internet. Well, people have a right to know. On a happier note, the receptionist was nice and prompt. Save yourself some time and choose any other doctor he listed on his letter. Dr. Dzvonick has a HUGE ego.

"Doing My Part for Science (and My Sinuses)"…read more So yeah... I signed up for a test trial at Inland Allergy because apparently I like chaos and helping humanity. The staff were super cool -- explained everything, didn't judge my 47 sneezes in under a minute, and treated me like a hero instead of a human pollen detector. The vibe? Half medical lab, half "we're curing allergies, bestie." I got poked, tested, and somehow left feeling proud and less stuffy. Honestly, 10/10 would volunteer again. Who knew saving the world came with free tissues, good vibes, and a slight chance of superpowers?

This is long but worth the read. I've been a patient for over 2 years…read more The receptionist informed me I needed to pay my outstanding balance and office visit copay before seeing the doctor. I had no problem paying the required amount. At this point, the situation took an unexpected turn. When asked if I required a receipt, I indicated that I did, as I always request one due to using my FSA debit card. Upon receiving the receipt, I noticed it only reflected my total amount due and the copay. I subsequently approached the receptionist to request a detailed itemization of my payment. I was informed that it was not possible to provide a receipt for the copay. This response surprised me, as I have not previously encountered a medical office unable to provide the requested documentation for charges. I explained that my FSA administrator requires a detailed receipt outlining each charge for verification purposes. Again, I was told that she couldn't do it. All the while, she was rude and made me feel as though I was bothering her for asking. Then she brings another person into our conversation. She was just as condescending. I explained to her as well, the importance of my needing a detailed receipt and why. I went into further detail, stating to her that if I don't have a detailed receipt of charges, FSA will shut down my card and not allow me to use it for any other doctor appointments nor will I be able to pay for my prescriptions. Both basically ignored my request and I was told, "well hopefully they won't ask and if they do, that will give us time to generate a receipt or you." When I entered room 2 to speak with the doctor, I told the young woman who took my blood pressure that I was very upset--she had likely seen what happened at the front desk. I explained that I needed a receipt for the copay and the reason why. She spoke with her manager and, within two minutes, returned with a separate receipt showing my copay. That was all I wanted, yet the front desk had refused to provide one. Your front desk staff really needs customer service training. Obviously, what I asked for was doable. They just didn't want to do it or take the time to ask someone how. They didn't empathize with me AT ALL when I told them why I needed the receipt and the inconvenience it would cause me if I didn't have it.

Dr Saini himself is a very caring concerned doctor and I would recommend him to anyone. TLDR The nurse at the allergy shot clinic turned me away today for my monthly shot because I was 3 minutes late even after explaining that Uber kept cancelling and how I would waste $40 for coming here. Would have expected a nurse to be more empathetic and understanding for her patient who needs care and timely shots. I went in for my monthly allergy shot today and I went in 3 minutes after 4pm because I had to order an Uber and it kept getting cancelled on me. The nurse came out and told me she can't administer the shot today since I arrived late. I didn't want to argue because there were a lot of people in the lobby but as I was walking out, I thought I'd go back in and explain the circumstances and how I'd have spent $40 for nothing for Uber round trip. I went back in and prefaced with an apology and that I'd be better on time and asked her to accommodate me this time. She said this is the policy and she will not administer shots. I explained to her that this is no small sum of money I'd be wasting and tried to get her to understand, but she says she can't make an exception for me and that she doesn't make the decision, to which i replied but you're the one calling the shots. After a few more back and forth I walked out, frustrated and angry for how little flexibility and empathy this nurse has for her patient. This wasn't the first time I felt this way about this nurse, as other nurses that I have interacted in the past were more personable and not so uptight. Sure, you have your "policies" but as a nurse working with patients, naturally you would expect them to be more understanding and accommodating to your needs and situation and I was very polite about asking her from the beginning. The way she talked to me was patronizing and as if she was a teacher in a classroom berating her students for being late. She could have as easily taken my apology and been the understanding older adult and let my trip not go to waste but this nurse worries more about her policies and fails to take on a more humane approach to treating her patients. I take time out of my work and time and money to come get this shot and just because I was literally 3 minutes past 4, she dismissed me without a second thought. This has really soured my day and sure maybe she had a bad day herself to make someone feel this way but this was definitely not professional on her part.
