I got my forward helix and conch pierced with Nine Moons last month in October…read more I came in 15 minutes early and was greeted by Naomi. She really calmed my nerves and helped me pick out and style a few pieces and also picked similar options with different price ranges. I really enjoyed my experience with Naomi because was so welcoming, professional, and really took the time to go over options. After picking the jewelry, Starr was ready for me. The room is very clean and private- and the bed you lay down on is large and comfy :). She mapped out a few locations for the forward helix and conch based on the placement and anatomy and she took pictures on her phone since I had a hard time seeing it in the mirror. If Naomi didn't calm me down already, Starr is really the most gentle and friendly piercer I've met. Incredibly patient. And I would like to believe that her swift skills in piercing made the experience pain-free. I also did my downsizing with Starr and it was a breeze. All in all, I wish I got all my piercings done at Nine Moon- this place is a gem. Their collection is exquisite and if I plan on getting more piercings, I will revisit this studio and recommend it to others. Thank you Starr and Naomi.

I came here for some help on an irritated piercing and was pretty nervous about not being able to do much about it after looking through the price ranges very briefly. You make a reservation and if you're tardy by some time they charge you their deposit fee $40+ dollars. Luckily, we came in early and were greeted very warmly by the staff here and after explaining the situation, were asked to wait. I loved the atmosphere of the shop: spotless, classy, sophisticated, and with a large selection of high-end jewelry for you to ooh, ahh, and oggle as you please. Shortly after, I then picked out some jewelry, and then was promptly taken to the back by a staff member. They tried finagling the hole for some time to save my 8 year old piercing, all while trying to ease my anxiety and talk me through the pain of the irritated piercing. After no avail, we decided to give up and let the piercing retire so the spot can heal again. With all that said and done, I was not charged because they understood the trauma of retiring and letting go of an irritated piercing. I was recommended to return 2 months after if I wanted to get it redone again. If I do decide to reinvigorate the spot I'll definitely be back. They are so bubbly and relatable here that I know I'll be well taken care of. Amazing place for new holes if you have a pretty penny and a hankering for change in your near future.

Another great experience at Bullseye tattoo. Wish other businesses I deal with ran this well. Made…read morean appointment to add to an existing tattoo that was done by Kathleen Martello. I arrived a few minutes early and they were ready for me, the artist made a few stencils before I arrived, I was already in the system and setup, asked if I wanted something to eat or coffee. Quickly seated at the artist's station and the exact size and position were determined. Kathleen Martello is a very talented artist and a pleasure to spend time with, answers all questions, addresses any concerns. Very happy with the work, this was my third time she has done work for me. The atmosphere is very calm clean and professional. Pricing was very reasonable.

I came into my appointment, and he was amazing. The place is clean, smells good, and the appearance is amazing. They provided me with whatever I needed, and Matt was extremely personable, funny, and did an amazing job! I was nervous to get the tattoo, but the experience made it so much easier! This place is a little out of my range, but I will be 100% making the 45 minute commute for my next tattoo as well as recommending this place to everyone!

Overall, the shop itself was immaculate and very clean. The piercings were well placed, the price…read morewas reasonable, and the piercer had good bedside manner, which I appreciated. The staff was helpful, though a bit aloof and standoffish at times. That said, I did run into some issues that made this a more difficult experience than it needed to be. The jewelry used was externally threaded, and they did not have 19mm bars available. I was pierced with 16mm bars, which ended up being just slightly too short for my anatomy. I was pierced in August 2025, and now in December I have had a very difficult healing process largely due to the bar length. I constantly dealt with the balls pressing in and threatening to embed because there simply wasn't enough room for swelling. Before getting pierced, I did ask if longer bars could be used or ordered. I was told they only place jewelry orders every few months and that ordering a specific size for me and having me come back was not how they do things. I was willing to pay for the proper jewelry and return, but that wasn't an option. In hindsight, I should have walked out, but I really wanted the piercings and went forward anyway. I also did not see an A.P.P. membership sticker displayed, which in retrospect should have been another sign for me to choose a different shop. I recently changed my jewelry myself to 19mm internally threaded bars, and the difference has been huge. My nipples are healing properly now and are noticeably happier. I can't speak to their tattooing, but based on my experience, their piercing policies could use improvement. I personally wouldn't return for piercings unless they begin offering internally threaded jewelry and can demonstrate A.P.P. standards.

Negative stars if I could. I really did not want to write this review mainly because of how time…read moreconsuming it would be to write and I know Banter's Escalation department is already handling my situation, but I want people to know the way I was treated here and the disgusting service I received at this Banter. I've been a customer at Piercing Pagoda/Banter since 2012 and I never had an issue nor was treated this way. I go to Banter for all jewelry needs, but that will no longer be the case moving forward. I went to a Banter in New Jersey and purchased three pairs of earrings. The following day, I happened to be in the SI mall and decided to exchange one of the earrings at the Banter there. One of the sales associates, Brianna, started assisting me, yet she was the most unhelpful and miserable sales associate I've ever dealt with. It seemed as if she didn't care to help nor be there. I ended up exchanging a cartilage earring and as I'm standing at the booth for 5 minutes struggling to put the earring in, none of the sales associates cared to help. They're walking past me, laughing and making side conversations. Not one person offering to help which was frustrating. I finally called one of the associates over to ask if he can help me put the earring in as it's impossible to do on my own. He looked behind him at another sales associate by the name of Light who responded flat out "5 dollars". I was so angry at this point. It costs $5 to help a customer put an earring in from your store?? Since when does Banter have such a policy? Immediately, I got the attention of another sales associate named Tiff and let her know I want to return this earring as I am so disgusted by the service here. She as well had an awful, unprofessional attitude. There was no "sorry" or "how can I make this better" How are these workers hired to work with people when they are so rude! Both of the sales associates, Tiff and Brianna started handling my return/refund, and at that point I decided I wanted to return all my items for a full refund as I don't want to give Banter any of my service due to how I was treated. Then both girls started telling me there was an error in the system and they're unable to process a full refund due to all the exchanges and refunds I requested. I'm sorry, but how is that possible? It was clear one of them pressed a button and made a mistake in the computer and blamed it on the fact that I did too many returns in a short period of time. They said that maybe in 30 minutes if I want to come back, they might be able to process the refund and it will work. I made it clear that I wasn't leaving the booth until I received a refund. I stood there for probably about 50 minutes. Meanwhile, both Tiff and Brianna disappeared and were hiding in the store's back room and having other employees peek out to see if I was still standing there. At one point I spoke up to the other workers at the booth and let them know I don't understand how they're unable to process a refund and I've been standing there for quite some time now. And then I see the male worker, Light go to the back room, mocking me and laughing with both Tiff and Brianna about my complaints. Once again - HOW ARE THESE PEOPLE HIRED TO WORK WITH OTHER PEOPLE. I seriously do not get it. Once again, disgusting, disrespectful and absolute trash behavior. I spoke with the assistant manager, Sue who told me I should come back in a day or two and then they might be able to process the refund. Right away, I called Banter's customer service and explained the situation. I ended up going back to this Banter two days later and Sue assisted me. She let me know the only way they would be able to give me a refund is by mailing me a check. After speaking with many customer service agents and going through the escalation department, I've been told that one of the workers did in fact make an error in the computer when ringing me up which is why I was unable to receive a refund that day and the only way I will be able to get a refund is by receiving a check. I really hope this Banter hires some new, professional workers because this type of behavior and service is unacceptable.
