However, I cannot say enough good things about this surgery center. The staff are soooooooo efficient, kind, and it's quiet and personal. Nothing like going to a hospital to have surgery. My son's care team from check in to the surgeon were all over the top kind and informative. We are so lucky to have this surgical center in Rochester.

Saw Dr. LaRussa for bunion surgery using the arthrex method. Couldn't be happier with the results…read more He did a wonderful job and recovery was quite tolerable. Would highly recommend the surgery for those considering a solution to their bunion problem. Would have given 5 stars but he seems to have a problem with time management. 1. never made it to the zoom meeting he requested following surgery. finally had to call his office. 2. 1st appointment he was running 30 min. behind. not too bad but still 3. 2nd appointment he was running 45 min. behind. 4. 3rd appointment he was running 55 min. behind. This is ridiculous and truly there is no excuse unless he was suddenly called out of the office. I understand that there may be times when your time with the doctor is running a bit over but 45 and 55 min. is inexcusable. I can recommend him for the surgery but if you ever have to book an appointment, make sure you are the first of the day.

When you come in you walk to the window to check in and there is always someone there to sign you in. The staff has always been extremely pleasant and nice to me. They cut me off several times while trying to ask questions, you can't make your follow up Gyno appt for the following year as their calendar only goes forward 3 months. So you have to wait for a postcard to come in the mail and then call to schedule an appointment. You are not greeted when you arrive, and they are even more rude on the phone. Besides the biannual cleanings, we both have had our wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Squilla (or Dr. Dan as he congenially has folks refer to him by). He's a fit, attractive gentleman in his late 30's, early 40's and is the utmost professional. (I mention his appearance solely because he's pleasant to gaze upon while experiencing a perhaps not-so pleasant experience!) One of the benefits of a smaller, locally owned office is that there is typically a low turn-over. I have had the same dental hygienist the whole time I have been with Dr. Dan. My hubby's gums are extremely sensitive and the dental hygienist has mastered the art of cleaning his teeth without making him feel like he's been placed on some medieval torture chamber. The office staff is excellent at reminding you of your appointments: you receive a postcard several weeks prior, and then a phone call a few days before. They accept most forms of insurance, and will work with you if you don't have insurance and need to implement a payment plan. The office is in a beautiful historic house and there is always on-street parking in front. I would recommend Dr. Dan and his staff without reservation.

I'm a 44 year old paramedic that has lifted a few too many hefty patients out of awkward positions through the last 25 years and as a result need a great chiropractor to keep me squared away. When my chiropractor closed her shop I asked where she got adjusted... I mean what's a better recommendation than where your chiropractor goes, right? That's how we ended up with Joe. He's got the moxie to give me a great adjustment and the finesse to work with my two year old as well. Dr Joe also has CACCP after his name, which means he actually has 200+ hours of specialized training for kids. If your child is seeing a Chiropractor without that certification they may not be getting the absolute best care they could. Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you should. That's the difference in those letters. Dr. Joe has a special interest working with kids on the sensory processing disorder and autistic spectrums. Dr Joe is your one stop shop for all your family needs. He's got two locations which cover nearly all of Monroe County, and he's worth the drive!
