I recently had a rotator cuff surgery scheduled that conflicted with my physical appt with Dr. Stuber. This would have been my first meeting. Last time I had this surgery scheduled I had to cancel because of of a TIA. Before that surgery Dr. Ahlman saw me to do a pre-op exam. The phone receptionist wouldnt schedule me for a pre-op visit because I"didn't have a specific complaint". She then scheduled my makeup date for a physical several more months down the line. Eventually when I insisted about getting in the receptionist hung up on me. Not at all like when Dr.Ahlman was there. Been a very bad experience in this transition.

They then lied to him claiming I was verbally abusive, which I wasn't, for being persistent that a proper assessment could not be done over a video call. When I waited quietly outside his doctor's office to hopefully speak with him the following week in order to clarify and report what happened, he greeted me with two security guards. I had a blocked bile duct following gall bladder surgery. My gall bladder surgeon did not diagnose it. I was jaundiced, my liver numbers were through the roof. Dr. Morris diagnosed it immediately and moved mountains until he found the head of gastroenterology at URMC to take me on an emergency basis to do surgery. I will be forever grateful.
