Had two wisdom teeth removed at ROS with Dr. Michael Krzemien -- ended up needing a new $2K crown…read more I opted for conscious sedation rather than full anesthesia and was told I'd feel pressure but no pain. However, the procedure began before the sedative had taken full effect. I experienced significant pain and requested additional sedation, but the extraction resumed almost immediately afterward, and I remained in considerable discomfort throughout. After the procedure, Dr. Krzemien inquired about my dental crown. He then explained that it had been dislodged during the extraction and had been reattached using temporary cement. My regular dentist later examined it and found the crown to be damaged beyond repair, requiring full replacement. In addition to the unexpected cost of replacing the crown, I was also billed for the temporary cement and that bill is now accumulating monthly service charges.

Charlene (who must be an assistant) took it upon herself to take my sons personal information from his paperwork and make derogatory, judgmental and discriminatory remarks OUT LOUD. I heard it as we were sitting in the waiting room and so did the other patients that were there. We were embarrassed and humiliated. I went up to confront her. She did not apologize or show any compassion at all. She was arrogant and prejudiced towards us. If this surgery was not an emergency for my son then I would have left and never gone back. I had to swallow my pride and still allow this practice to remove my sons wisdom teeth. Mary Louise and another front desk lady were very kind and apologetic to us which I was thankful for. Those 2 women really saved the day. Dr. Ruckert was ok, he gave a half hearted apology but showed little feeling or remorse for the way his employee had acted. There is a bad feeling in this office. I felt it right away when I called to make an appointment. The lady (i believe it was also Charlene) was rude to me on the phone and made disparaging comments. It was the worst Ive ever been treated anywhere. I NEVER post reviews but I knew I had to today. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Be prepared to be talked about, laughed about and made fun of with your personal information. If she did this right out loud and in front of us, imagine what she says and does behind closed doors. I believe this might be a HIPAA violation. The Dr seemed to be ok with all of this. So BE VERY WARY OF THIS PRACTICE!!!

He would dismiss any questions I had or act like I was an idiot for asking them. His sense of humor is not very humorous and he seems like he loves to brag about his past client. To further elaborate, the entire staff at Elmwood Dental Group is incredible.. dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, and front desk staff-literally everyone there! Elmwood Dental Group make visiting the dentist an extremely pleasurable experience. More recently, my four year-old son fell face first onto a bench while visiting the Strong Museum of Play. With a quick call to Elmwood Dental, they had us in office in less than an hour. Their staff are so amazing with the little ones! Dr. Chris made his x-ray super painless, and as much fun as a four year-old can have getting an x-ray on a tender tooth. Dr. Comfort even gave out her cell number in case he had an issue over the weekend, while the office was closed. Additionally, I want to add that Kayla, the hygienist who worked on my two young boys, made it so fun for them, it seemed like a playdate. Same goes with the filling that Dr. Comfort performed on my older son. He was genuinely enjoying himself and having fun the whole time. I love this practice and would recommend it to anyone in need of dental care. Which is everyone, really. My family has only been going here for about a month, but already the staff feel like family.
