I am the king of dropping my phone, and after the 1000th time my iPhone said enough is enough, and the bottom half of my screen was unusable. I panicked, I've been waiting for the new iPhone to come out and I didn't want to have to upgrade early. I also didn't want to pay $150+. I had to replace my screen once before at a shop on the UES and I wasn't thrilled with their cost, service, speed, or screen they used. In less than 20 minutes, Mike fixed both my phone's cracked screen and LCD display. All for $75. Screen protector is an extra $5 and worth it. The online appointment process is simple and you get plenty of reminders on the day of. You can either meet at his HQ in Brooklyn, or pay a little extra for a mobile visit to Manhattan. Personally, I say take the trip to Bed-Stuy and support the local Black businesses in a neighborhood that is quickly being gentrified. So Mike is definitely your guy. The first time I met with him to repair the screen of 7 Plus not only was he quick but what I appreciated was the fact that at one point someone tried to ask him about what he was doing and he informed the person that he was being paid for his time and would address any questions after he was done with me. Never have I heard of a traveling iPhone repairman and I have to admit I was very skeptical. But I wasn't disappointed! You can book your appointment online by picking a time slot and location (several throughout the city and Brooklyn - all in public locations). Add it to your calendar and the repairman confirms your appointment via text. I met up with Michel near my job and he repaired my my cracked screen in 15 mins tops, tested it and once it was good I sent the money through Venmo (talk about super easy and convenient). After I left, I noticed my sensor was no longer working and my cheek would press buttons during phone calls. All I had to do was contact Michel again for another appointment and he replaced the sensor. Although, it took several tries Michel was apologetic and made sure to meet with me every time to ensure it was working correctly. Would recommend this service to anyone! read more

I broke my iPhone at 6 in the morning and then practically 12 hours later it was fixed! My screen was covered in tons of cracks. However, I was able to schedule an appointment in the evening with the iPhone Doc after work. His website is really easy to use and I got both email and text confirmations for my appointment. We both happened to arrive early and we chatted while he replaced my screen in about 15 minutes or less. He was very straightforward and professional. I went to get my screen fixed because I didn't have time to make an appointment and go to an Apple store so I'd thought I'd give those a go. Quick and everything seemed fine until I got home. I noticed that the screen had feint lines going through the entire screen horizontally. He offered to replace it but still had the same problem. He did refund $100 which was nice. In my honest opinion, I would just say to go to an Apple store and pay the small difference to be completely satisfied. Good customer service but the product itself is more than likely not legit. I was then able to make an appointment to have him come to my office 45 minutes later (schedules aligned), and he arrived early even. He quickly replaced my screen and all is working perfectly.
