I was past due for a phone upgrade, but was dreading the whole process. I remembered going to this location a few years ago and being happy with the service so I wanted to return. Considering I do not live nearby I initially called to inquire about the price and spoke to Lenny. I went in person (12/20/23) and ordered the phone, and while I was there we confirmed any bill increase with Verizon. He was very thorough, accommodating and friendly. Brian was absolutely amazing. I have been a customer of a shall-not-be-mentioned carrier (HINT: IT WAS SPRINT!) for almost two decades. I don't know why I have not switched sooner. I was able to communicate EXACTLY what my needs were ... Brian made sure to accommodate each need with what Verizon offered. He was SUPER kind, SUPER helpful, and SUPER professional. NEVER pushy, never rushed, and never made me lock into anything I did not feel comfortable about. He took the time to explain to me OPTIONS, so I as the customer can choose what was best for me. Usually I look forward to going to the Verizon store as much as I look forward to going to jury duty or DMV, however I actually had a great experience at this store. Carl helped me switch to a different Verizon plan which ends up saving me money each month. No waiting and no pressure to buy more data than I need, I was in-and-out of the Verizon store in literally 10 minutes. When i tell you RUN from this place I'm not kidding. Lenny and his crew are crooked and shady individuals. My family and I traded in THREE iPhones (a total of $1,380) under a deal that they promised us. We would get three new phones and LENNY would send the phones in to Verizon for us. We gave him the phones thinking it was easy and would be better to be sent over from the Verizon store itself. Fast forward to nearly 2 years later, we STILL have no refund or credit for the $1,380 and Verizon has ZERO record of the phones even being sent in. Hours on hours of phone calls back and forth trying to get this resolved and Lenny "can't help us" and left it to Verizon who.. again... has NO record of the phones being sent in. Whatever pyramid scheme this guy is running, stay AWAY and go to a REAL Verizon store. They're crooks and liars here, don't even waste your time. Lenny also did not handle this professionally as a business owner and proceeded to speak to us in an extremely unprofessional manner. Again, shady shit going on here STAY AWAY especially if he tells you he'll send the phones in (because he won't). He has zero tracking numbers to prove he ever sent the phones in, real professional. read more

Do yourself a favor and go to the Bay Terrace location, ask for Xavier! If you do come here, look up the case you're about to purchase online because mine was $50 in store and $17 elsewhere. I couldn't return it because the box was throw away after being put on my phone by the associate I was working with. I was told the adapter for my new iPhone 12 was a product by Apple after asking if so, was lied directly to my face by Brian. Don't bother getting a screen protector from here, they're pulled from a drawer with no box. Therefore, I can only assume they're bought in bulk from Amazon for way less than sold. I realized all of this after the fact (my fault), but the feeling of being taken advantage of just simply hurts and shouldn't happen in the first place. Clearly customers are coming into the store and are going to spend their hard earned money, so why do your best to manipulate them into spending more (oh that's right commission). I get it, they're "sales people" but maybe find a job that is more rewarding or make it so. Brian wanted me to buy an iPad so badly because I had inquired about one, he told me about a deal and then when I said I'm ok without it just miraculously found me another deal on top of the first one (WOW)! I went back the same day to return my "Apple" adapter, walked into the store at around 7:01. Was told by an associate who was not there in the morning and I don't know his name that they were closed, well then CLOSE/LOCK the door. I had never been treated with such disrespect in front of my face, and again lied to. The man said to me (with who I assume was his girlfriend and dog in the store as well), "it'll take me 15 minutes just to turn the computer back on again." He acted like a child and started to aggressively proceed with my return. I get it you're technically supposed to be off (two minutes ago) and want to leave (because he clearly had somewhere important to be, home), but if that's the case and more important then find a new job. They were able to diagnose the problem with my wife's iPhone 8 and confirm it was under warranty for repair. After confirming the phone had to be returned to Apple for repair, we her phone back a week later with the security of knowing all the parts used for the repair were genuine Apple products. read more

My old phone for some reason, decided to die on me and then reset itself to factory settings. I lost everything. Somewhat panicked, I went to Whitestone Verizon and the new manager, Michelle Alvarado, saved the day. To be perfectly honest, it's so rare these days to find an associate that actually cares about the customer/consumer, that Michelle was a breath of fresh air. As long as it took to fix my phone and retrieve as much as possible, she did it. I know it's time for me to update my phone....and I know where I will be going to get one. I don't know if they scammed me and gave me a failing battery when I took my iPhone in for a battery replacement or if the update they did (which they never told me about) to my iOS is making my battery drain faster, or maybe both. Either way, don't come here to get your battery replaced, especially if you have an older iPhone. They'll either steal your battery or will update your iOS during the repair so that your phone is super slow and the battery drains at the speed of light, making your battery replacement completely useless. I came here to get my iPhone 6 battery replaced and now my battery drains literally by 1% every minute, maybe less. I left the store at 57% and by the time I got home after a 10 minute drive using GPS it was at 18%. I'm angry and wasted my money. I've tried everything to try to downgrade back to an older iOS but couldn't find anything that worked. The battery on this phone won't last more than 2 hours. $30 and a perfectly good phone flushed down the drain. Pisses me off but I'll just be getting a new iPhone during one of the black friday sales. Apple stores don't update your iOS when replacing your battery. I don't know why this store does. read more

I came here to get a new phone because my phone was cracked in the back. The salesperson (I won't mention names if he's reading this then he knows who he is) told me that verizon would not take any trade ins because my phone was cracked in the back and that he would give me $80.00 for my phone. I knew this didn't sound right so I left and went to the verizon store at bay terrace and guess what!!!! They told me with the cracked back they would give me $210 for the phone or I could pay $30 to fix the back and then get the full $420 trade in value. So long story short dude at the Whitestone location thought he was going to get over on me by paying me $80 for my phone and reselling it for way more. Advice don't go here!!!! read more

This place really is as good as it gets! Stopped by today last minute to get set up on Verizon (transferring from AT&T) and these guys were phenomenal. We walked in at 7 with 3 phones to transfer over and they stayed past their closing helping us (so sorry again guys). Carl, wonderful younger man who was in the know of a lot of newer devices/cases and their benefits. Brian and Lennie the partners were also great with helping everything transfer over seamlessly. Seriously not to be dramatic but it was a relief. My phone was completely broken and I had to switch over today, I now have a beautiful red iPhone 7 and didn't want to pull my hair out in the process of listening to useless sales pitches. I initially came here because the Bay Terrace Verizon store turned me off with aggressive and pushy sales tactics. I went straight to this location and the was blown away by the customer service. To me, Verizon stores are all the same. What distinguishes this location are the people working there. They are beyond friendly. They take time to remember your name and your needs without trying to constantly up sell you. Over the past 2 months, I upgraded 2 phones with them and dealt with 4 different employees who were all eager to help. Rest assured, I will continue going there for all cell phone needs. After doing some research, I decided to upgrade my phone today. I started out in the Bay Terrace Verizon... it was beyond packed, lots of unhappy faces, and I was given an estimate of about a 2 hour wait (with two impatient children in tow). I was reminded by my husband that there was a Verizon store right next to Utopia Bagels! I called them immediately and asked them if they had a lot of people in their store, and they did not. I decided to drive over to them. Both Brian and Rob were pleasant to work with, literally service with a smile. They were great with my daughter, they were honest in their suggestions, patient with my indecisiveness of the phone color, and even took extra time to give me a tutorial on how to work my new phone. Their store felt more like a small business then a factory ( like the store in Bay Terrace). Brian gave some suggestions on how my monthly bill could be lowered. The best part was that the whole process took less than an hour, so I saved a ton of time! I highly recommend this store because not only do they know what they are doing, they have excellent customer service. read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR PHONE HERE FOR APPLE CERTIFIED SERVICES!!!!!!!! The battery on my phone needed to be replaced. Apple told me this place is "Apple certified." I bring it, they take my phone, presumably put the new battery in, and give me my phone back. After, I notice problems with the touchscreen. I bring it back a few days later, a different guy there opens it up and shows me the screen on my phone isn't a real Apple screen. I've never had my screen replaced before AND have Apple care, so it doesn't make any sense why I have a fake screen. They told me they don't and aren't allowed to replace iPhone screens. I remember a small scratch I had on the screen before they did the battery repair and noticed it wasn't there after... THEY TOOK MY SCREEN WITHOUT TELLING ME AND REPLACED IT WITH A FAKE NON-APPLE SCREEN. Then they tell me they will send it to Apple for a new screen using MY Apple care and they would cover the fee. Fine. I call Apple a few days later to check on it and make sure my apple care isn't void because of a fake screen. Apple tells me the store claimed my screen was cracked and the customer (me) requested a screen replacement... NOT TRUE. It seems they are either stealing people's iPhone screens, or they broke mine while doing a battery replacement and threw a different one on. They tried to cover their tracks when I noticed. Either way, DON'T BRING YOUR IPHONE HERE!! YOUR IPHONE WARRANTY AND APPLE CARE WILL BE VOID IF THERE ARE NON-APPLE PARTS IN IT!!!! read more
