I'm fairly new in town, and had had bad luck trying to get a particular Swiss-made guitar amplifier…read morefixed. By word of mouth, after trying several local repairmen, I got wind of "Shon" at Sound Town. He combed over the amp tooth and nail, and finally solved the problem for me, a problem that turned out to be not so much a broken component (my guess) as operator error, a change-over from an active to passive guitar, and the need for a suitable pre-amp to boost the signal . It took a lot of testing and reading of manuals and schematics, before Sean figured out what was going on. He went so far as to compare my sound-levels with those of other amps in the stores and he was quite patient and thorough in every regard. I made several trips to the store, and became acquainted with three key people there, all of whom were very nice, and I got a feeling for their special niche in the music world, which is the supplying of sound systems and various components, whether for rentals-out or for purchase. They keep a fair supply of guitar needs and are happy to order anything you might want at a fair price. Though Guitar Center and places like Kolacny's and Flesher-Hinton all have their place, I'll always begin by shopping here because of their patience and kindness. It is a special kind of store with special kind of people, and it always feels good to be patronizing a locally owned business of modest proportions. Bravo!

Never rent from this vendor. They came out to set up the jumper and it only had one blower, so I…read moreasked for a second blower for my kids safety. I was right to do so because shortly after set up, the jumper collapsed when my toddler got in. I got upset and told them to do it correctly and the younger individual got hostile and rude stating "no fiesta" implying that our event was cancelled. Well, I matched the energy by cancelling them and getting a jumper from my tent vendor at a much cheaper price, with a lower price. Don't use them, instead call Jose at 720-297-393 and get amazing service.

I really don't have an issue with the quality of their product and their prices are good, but they…read morewere really unfair to us. We are a cultural organization and they never told us that we would need to provide them with a Spanish speaking person to give directions to their employees. I spent 20 - 30 minutes trying to explain where to put things and they just put things wherever they wanted. When you're planning festival, you have a production schedule and time is tight. After spending all of that time with them, they called their office and got an interpreter. I told her I didn't have time to go over all of this again and that it wasn't fair for them to assume a Korean organization would have someone who speaks Spanish. I told her I thought she should have told me sooner and I would have gotten an interpreter - but to expect me to spend a full hour on this was not reasonable. The woman (edited - it's Wendy - she is mentioned in all of their bad reviews. the one good review they have is a fake one from her) got really offended - like I was being racist towards Hispanics- I actually think the expectation that Koreans need to learn Spanish is so out of line and it was racist of her to be offended that Koreans don't speak Spanish. Why doesn't she have empathy for people? She threatened to pack up the equipment and leave. It was such an unprofessional thing to do. We were nothing but kind and accomodating to last minute scheduling changes to them before and her reaction was such an overreaction and very immature. It was so unprofessional. This is a business. You cannot expect your customers to speak Spanish. If that's what you needed, you should have told me. Not freak out on me that I'm not willing to spend an hour with you. Why would you want the set up to take that long? It doesn't make any sense and I think your organization is really out of line.
