They were professional, efficient, and very respectful of our home--everyone even wore shoe covers. Unfortunately, a few hours later, we realized the unit still wasn't cooling. Emilian and his technician came back, diagnosed what appeared to be compressor damage, and explained our options. Knowing the unit was older, Emilian even reduced the initial service charge and offered us some affordable solutions. I really appreciated their honesty, professionalism, and willingness to make things right. It's refreshing to find a company that genuinely cares about its customers. I would definitely call Koka-Tech again and highly recommend them!

Also, like one of the other reviewers, they responded right away and were very accommodating. I used this company again recently, for the same problem. Instead of the owner (the Master Electrician) his brother came with a helper. The helper was very good and assessed the issue and did things that should have been done during the first visit. So, I was happy until I got the bill and was charged the same fee, which I assumed was for a Master Electrician. The service that I recevied was good but did not warrant what I was charged. I think you are committing fraud and a disservice to your customers when you charge them the Master Electrician rate and a handyman knowledgeable about electrical work steps in your place.

They absolutely delivered. They installed three ceiling fans, added proper ground boxes, and completely redid sections of unsafe wiring that was old, brittle, and poorly handled before. What really stood out was their professionalism, they documented the entire process with photos, which gave me total peace of mind. Most importantly, my mom is extremely happy, and I feel so much better knowing her home is now significantly safer. Reliable, transparent, and clearly takes pride in their work. Highly recommend. It included a full service upgrade from 100A to 200A, a new panel, grounding and bonding throughout the house, correction of multiple inspection issues, new lighting, bathroom exhaust fan installation, staircase lighting, GFCIs, and additional interior work once the project was underway. Yonatan and his team handled all of it professionally, safely, and by the book. What stood out most was the level of care and transparency. Yonatan took the time to walk the house in detail, explain what was required by NYC code versus what was optional, and clearly outline the scope before any work began. When additional work made sense after opening things up, it was discussed first, priced clearly, and documented properly. No surprises. The crew was punctual, respectful of the home, and clearly knew what they were doing. The work is impeccable. The panel is clean and well-labeled, and everything functions exactly as promised. This is the kind of electrical work you want done once and done right, especially in an older NYC home. I would absolutely use GroundElectric again and recommend them without hesitation.
