I've been to Art Terrarium twice now and love my new additions. They have a great selection of pet friendly plants (with the black ceramic kitty peeking out of the middle - he never ceases to make me jump!). There is also a nice selection of succulents (I have finally managed to keep most of the alive!). The women working there are very helpful, especially with repotting and care advice. Convenient location in the Highland Park neighborhood but parking can be a little challenging; I try and go during the week and usually manage to get street parking out front.

I went in just for a couple vegetables for my garden and left with more plants than I think I had places for. Well I might be back anyway. They have so much to choose from and everything was really neatly organized. Everyone was really helpful and directed me on where to find my broccoli and helped me choose the right tomatoes for us. They have lots of potting options and things to get your garden or yard going no matter how big or small. So far all my plants are still living and looking pretty good. I think I will go back for some flowering plants to try and pretty up my front yard. I am excited that I finally have time to try this place out!

We got quite a few plants and the lady who helped was more then happy to answer all the questions I had. She also was willing to help my mom even though she was sitting in the car the whole time. Overall it was a great experience. They seemed to have a diverse selection of plants - all of which looked pretty healthy. The inside was definitely cool although they are currently limiting it to two customers at a time due to social distancing. The lady who helped us was wearing a bandanna as a mask and the other person had a cloth mask on. The whole store, while going for that cluttered chic look was very clean. Masks are required per the mandate. I would definitely go back.

They somehow killed the grass under the leveling and the seeding didn't work properly. I went from the nicest yard. In the neighborhood to a mixed bag. I keep trying to get rid of the weeds that they somehow brought with the mix they used and get new seed to grow. The problem is the weed killer will also kill the grass seed. I can also tell you that they are strict on their tree warranty. I have done business with them for over 20 years. I would recommend any of their plants but maybe not landscape work.

I ordered a refrigerator from here and they offered to deliver it for free. Against my better…read morejudgment I took them up on the offer. Not only we're the drivers 20-30 minutes late, they came to the door smoking a cigarette and disregarded the cigarette in my yard. I told them refrigerator goes to the basement and that it'll be a somewhat tight fit, but they'll have about 2 inches on each side if they keep the doors on. I suggest they take the doors off to give them more room. They ignored my suggestion and argued about how to bring the fridge down the stairs. For some reason they didn't just use a two wheeler, which is what we used when I worked there. They just attempted to carry it using slings. After going down one step, they gauges the hell out of my wood worker and didn't notice. They nearly hit the ceiling too. I told them to stop and get out of my house. I've called Lowe's and the store may took my information down for the delivery manager. He didn't act concerned and I haven't heard back. Don't buy anything from this Lowe's!
