I contacted support to inquire and was refused information on the so called "incident". I feel that if there was an incident I was involved with I should have a right to know. All past transactions were positive and had no issues. I feel that I at least deserve an explanation or should have been notified. I was instead referred to email to inquire and hope for a response. Thanks, but I'll pass. Uber and Door Dash have yet to fail me.

Her meals serve up to 3 people and they are about $25 each depending on size. Every Monday she posts the menu of the week and you can choose whichever you would like. Pickups are Thursday and Friday. Your best bet will be subscribing to her email list because on holiday weeks she has special days to pick up. Anyhow I love that she offers allergy sensitive options for people like me. Everytime I pick up I make sure to grab some of her fridge goodies. Here fridge has an array of various side dishes, quick meals or snacks. My all time favorite are her chia puddings. They are always different flavors and just such a great snack. I absolutely recommend to all my friends and family. I definitely enjoy her food a couple times a month. So happy I found this place when I did. It has saved me so much stress and time being a new mom. Looking forward to trying many more from the grateful chef.

The shop is very clean. They have a decent size dining area with tables and chairs. There is also a lounge area with purple couches. You will find a fenced in patio area available to eat you treat at as well. The guy working the shop was friendly enough, but my interaction with him was limited. They have a bunch of signature and rotating/seasonal cinnamon rolls such as Strawberry Fields Roll, Berry Crumble Roll, Tropical Bliss Roll, Caramel Apple Pie Roll, and Campfire S'mores Roll. You can also get a traditional plain cinnamon roll. They also have soft serve, brownies, cookie dough, king cake and ice cream floats. I got a Snicker Salad. I kind of felt a little bad for interrupting him as I was just browsing. Lol From the Western Clive West Des Moines area it was about a 35 min drive out to North Ankeny but I wanted to check out the shelves here. Love the high wooden displays that give parts of the shop an almost library like look... A lot of the bourbon and whiskey is standard to what you can find at other area shops. Pricing is on par or just a couple of dollars higher. I can see the convenience of this shop to the residents of Northern Ankeny. It's really the only liquor store in the area. There is Costco, but the 10-15 min drive back to Neighborhood or longer to Liquor Lovers would be a pain if you just need to run in and grab something. Nothing screamed "Buy me!" so I walked out empty handed. With it being the haul that it is for me from my home base in the metro (and the speed trap they were running between 1st and 36th on I35) I doubt that I make a special trip back to Sip N Burn, but I won't hesitate to swing in again if I am in the area.

Each time I've ordered I've had to get the bbq mac because it is legitimately delicious! Luscious mac and cheese covered in your choice of pulled pork or brisket, bbq sauce and onion strings. It's creamy, tangy and satisfying. The container it comes in is plastic and keeps the food hot but the onion strings don't get soggy. The small feeds me for 2 meals easily.
