Depending on which meals you are eating, they taste better than hospital food! (And much better than my roommate's) They have the flavors of the food listed on the label. So the maple waffle with pork sausage, taste like maple waffle with a mild pork sausage. The meatball marinara sub comes with a whole wheat bun that you add the meatballs and sauce too. The meatballs are almost like meatloaf and the tomato sauce has pieces of tomato and other ingredients visible. I am not eligible for SNAP because I don't have a job but I survive on SSDI. Mom's Meals is a much better system, quality ingredients and taste than some other home deliveries. They stay good for 2 weeks but ship out to me weekly. Perfect? No. Edible? Yes Helpful? Extremely On time? Every time. For me, it is a lifesaver now that everything including groceries are so much more expensive but I have no more money than before. *Yes, setting up your online account is difficult but once set up the online website is simple to use.
