My wife and I have been tenants here since September 2022. We pay our rent on time. On January 6,…read more2025, the current superintendent (Ibrahim) cornered a vulnerable tenant (in her own apt.) who was 7 months pregnant. He verbally assaulted her. Her water broke two days later and sadly she lost her baby on January 22. Despicably and criminally the management defend their superintendent and claim there was a "cultural misunderstanding". There is an ongoing investigation, and anyone accused of a crime is innocent until proven guilty. There have been other complaints to me of woman being bullied by this superintendent. My wife does not want to travel alone in the elevator for fear of running into him. I have personally been assaulted when he tried to push his way into my apartment with an expired notice to enter. Our neighbour came home from work and found him standing in his apartment. The neighbour contacted his lawyer. Based on our experience the landlord puts profit first and tenants a distant last. They do not do proper maintenance. There have been 22 power interruptions because they didn't want to spend the money on a new mains cable (they refuse to install a generator), 27 elevator breakdowns and an expired licenses, (both elevators have been operating without licenses for more than 21 days),two fire alarms involving the same laundry room in which the fire department was called out, locking a fire exit from the inside. They will only clean common areas if you complain (see attached pictures).

Decent suites but customer service is always scraping the bottom of the barrel... Also, they've tried selling the rental suites using the amenities that are only for the next-door condominium until they were warned of the legalities of such fraud accusations.

1 star is too many stars for this building. This is the most poorly managed and poorly constructed…read morebuilding I have ever lived in and I am counting down the days until I can leave. The fact that this building has switched management about once a year should be a pretty big red flag, no one wants to be associated with this building. This does not even begin to capture the issues we have had, but I hope it gives future renters an idea.. 1. Fire alarms go off multiple times a month often between midnight and 4 am, often times with the sound and or light going off for 1-2 hours. This is apparently because either water issues or that it shares a panel with the hotel/building next door, either way this is an issue that none of the management companies have any interest in addressing and will likely never address 2. Almost every person I know in this building has had at least one break in their car. I am paying 175 dollars a month to park my car, yet there isn't a single security camera in the garage. There have been vague promises to increase security by installing cameras, this has never happened and again I imagine never will happen. If you park here at some point you will have your car broken into. Broken windows is a pretty common site in this garage. 3. The garage was designed by someone who has actually never used a parking garage before and someone just described it to them. The part where you drive and the corners are only big enough for 1 vehicle, but for some reason it is a 2 way driving area the entire way around, so on a daily basis there are near head on collisions and im certain many accidents due to this. This is something that will never change about the building. 4. There are often people who do not live in this building found in the stairwells and there have been apartment break ins. 5. There is no one available after 5 pm or on weekends, you call a 1800 number and they deem almost all issues non essential, even this means you are unable to get in and out of the building to work due to malfunctioning garage door clickers, someone else being parked in your spot, or being unable to get into your unit. There is no on call maintenance staff, or none that tenants can reasonably access. You will have to figure out your own issues. 6. If you ever want to add another person to your lease, the process involves making you give up your lease, reapply to the apartment on their HORRIBLE website with this new person, and sign leases again, which took over a month to do, and in the process meant that all my utilities had to be re set up AND I had to pay new service fees as now I was considered a new customer as I was now considered a new tenant 7. Plugs in the kitchen are incredibly difficult to use, hard to get appliances into them 8. The cherry on top of this building is the management. I could tolerate the alarms and the problem if we had management that was responsive and organized and helpful. Vanessa and Jennifer are the most disorganized, disrespectful, disinterested people I have ever met. As highlighted by other tenants they are hard to get in touch with and either dont fix your problems or cause more (see point 6). They also "lost" another tenants receipt from her parking fob, so despite the fact that it was their mistake, they refused to give her her deposit. The problems listed above seem. like things that will never change, so I would honestly NEVER suggest living in this building. A start would probably be to get a new management team, followed closely by demolition.

Unfortunately, I still live in one of the buildings managed by Greenwin despite my negative review…read morebelow. What brings me to write about this place again? I was hoping that I would not have to but after the false fire alarm has been going off for an hour and half and ongoing, I need to find myself some sanity by sharing my experience with fellow yelpies. Yup, you heard me right, false fire alarm going off for an hour and half... It started around midnight and it stopped then started, stopped then started again and again and here we are it's 1:35 am now. It's torture because the moment the fire alarm stops you think you can finally sleep then it starts again... I feel really bad for the seniors living in this building. Why do these things happen when you know you need to wake up early in the morning?! We called the building representative who indicated she couldn't get the alarm stopped because it was due to some water pipe issue and she complained that she was getting a lot of calls! What customer service. There have been unannounced water shutoffs and delays to service requests as well. Did I mention how air conditioning is cut off until May 31 no matter what the weather condition will be like?! Yet they charge a premium of about $1,600 for a one bedroom unit, which is considered quite expensive for outside the GTA, 100,000 resident cities. The building I'm in does not even have a concierge, pool, sauna or some luxury amenity. I'd stay away from this poorly organized and managed place! You have been warned.

Extremely Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience - Avoid!…read more My experience with Hamilton Home Services was extremely disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish. I scheduled an appointment with the service provider and cleared my schedule in anticipation of the job. However, he did not show up at the scheduled time. I waited for over an hour, and only after I followed up did he casually mention that he wouldn't be coming -- no advance notice, When he finally responded with a quote after a week, I wasn't able to reply immediately as I was unwell and 7 months pregnant. Instead of showing any professionalism, he sent me a message accusing me of not being serious and told me not to use the site again unless I intended to respond on his timeline. I found his tone rude, uncalled for, and completely unprofessional. Instead of owning up to his own lack of commitment and delays, he flipped the blame and tried to shame me for not responding quickly enough, despite his own week-long silence. To top it off, when I voiced my concern, I received a sarcastic "have a great day" message that only further reflects his lack of basic customer respect. I don't care what "great reviews" he boasts about from other customers -- my experience was completely negative and I wouldn't recommend Hamilton Home Services to anyone. If this is how they treat customers -- especially someone whom they already inconvenienced by their no-show -- then they don't deserve to be in a customer-facing business. Save your time, energy, and dignity -- look elsewhere.
