Let me start this review with the only good part. The maintenance staff, many of them are good…read moreguys who try their best in every situation. I've never had any problems with these guys. Now onto the bad part of this review... Over the years amenities have been taken away from tenants. About 1 year ago we got a new property manager named Darcy who was like a breath of fresh air. He was trying to turn things around but he has now left and what we have now is not great. I recently inquired about the Car wash station where the pipe was cut and removed. The response I got was that "It was a nice feature, oh well". Not the type of response you would want from someone taken money from you each month. The underground parking lots are so dirty and being able to wash my car was great. Not anymore! Since my time of living here we lost our Pool & Sauna. The excuse was that the concrete was too damaged. Then we lost our On-site security and was replaced with a roaming security company but that was short lived for about 3 months before they just decided to get rid of that too. All these amenities were "selling" features and a reason so many of us moved in the first place. I mean we could have gone to other places without these features and paid less. So you would think that by removing amenities means that you get a reduction in rent? Nope, the managers decide to bump up the cost and often go to the tenant board to get approvals beyond the provincial guidelines. If you are looking to move in please take this review as a warning from someone who has lived here for a while. They will continue to just take and take and don't care about you. I overheard management tell the maintenance staff to focus on the empty units and forget the repair tickets for current tenants.

This place is disgusting! It is infested with roaches and management does nothing but make empty…read morepromises. The windows haven't been cleaned in years, there are no amenities, the carpets in the hall are threadbare and worn. Management does not care about the tenants at all and only do the bare minimum after you threaten them.

My wife and I have been tenants here since September 2022. We pay our rent on time. On January 6,…read more2025, the current superintendent (Ibrahim) cornered a vulnerable tenant (in her own apt.) who was 7 months pregnant. He verbally assaulted her. Her water broke two days later and sadly she lost her baby on January 22. Despicably and criminally the management defend their superintendent and claim there was a "cultural misunderstanding". There is an ongoing investigation, and anyone accused of a crime is innocent until proven guilty. There have been other complaints to me of woman being bullied by this superintendent. My wife does not want to travel alone in the elevator for fear of running into him. I have personally been assaulted when he tried to push his way into my apartment with an expired notice to enter. Our neighbour came home from work and found him standing in his apartment. The neighbour contacted his lawyer. Based on our experience the landlord puts profit first and tenants a distant last. They do not do proper maintenance. There have been 22 power interruptions because they didn't want to spend the money on a new mains cable (they refuse to install a generator), 27 elevator breakdowns and an expired licenses, (both elevators have been operating without licenses for more than 21 days),two fire alarms involving the same laundry room in which the fire department was called out, locking a fire exit from the inside. They will only clean common areas if you complain (see attached pictures).

RE: 130 Parkway Forest Drive…read more I was shocked by the extremely high cost of parking here (garage parking $170) This rate is far beyond unreasonable, and it was an unpleasant surprise. Definitely something to consider before renting here.
