Update 2023: OK, I'm back in Colorado and got myself a lil…read morebit of an upper respiratory infection so I called Miramont and they found a way to squeeze me in. While I had initially asked for Dr Lisa Hammond, they said she was booked but Dr Candice had a cancellation and was available to see me. My visit began with Nurse Rachel, who is super nice & friendly. We talked about my issues+asthma complications, she took my vitals and began swabbing me for Covid & RSV-super quick and painless and soon Dr Candice was in and talking to me about this "chest cold" and we discussed better, move proven, methods to combat my asthma. She did so taking her time, not rushing me at all, and I was soon on my way with scripts that she called in to my pharmacy. So very nice! Everyone here is so nice to work with. Thank you Alisyn, Netta, Rachael & Candice for helping me out today. I will continue to tell my friends just how wonderful you guys are! 2020: I simply cannot believe some of these reviews as I have been to this office twice in the past year and both times I was seen by Dr Lisa Hammond for allergies and both times had a wonderful experience! Both she, James and the gal at the front desk were extremely pleasant to work with and accommodating. Did I mention they also booked my appointment same day?! I tried to do that at a UC Health office closer to home and got "I'm sorry the Dr isn't taking new patients now" whereas Dr Hammond took the time to discuss options for not just allergy meds but asthma meds as well since she understands the correlation between the two. Seriously, there are good people here. See for yourself rather than listen to people that don't understand their own health insurance

This is a 2 Part Review…read more #1 - Dr. Bender took care our Mother at the assisted living home where she resided during covid. She never had flu shots, so we didn't approve the vaccine (made the visiting RN very unhappy. oh well). When everyone caught the bug, Miramont's protocol was homeopathic based. Our Mom was up and around, helping in the kitchen, folding clothes, etc. while other residents were flat on their backs for 10-14 days. 3 of our family took the same protocol and had little- to-no symptoms. Very, very happy with Dr. Bender. He gets a 5 STAR. #2 - My sister and I've left 3 messages at the Ft. Collins office for aesthetics. Not one return call. GIving up on the Ft. Collins office, we phoned the Parker office December 2024. My call to the woman who answered responded as if it my call was nothing short of an annoyance with her tone of voice and succinct replies. She transferred me to Aesthetics; the call disconnected. A second call and another long que. Press 2 option and you get "User mailbox is not available at this time". For an Rx, they'll handle your request in 2-3 days. Tried the other options, but mailbox not working or set up. Why give the caller options??? While Dr. Bender is great, his some of his team members are missing the boat. The voicemail and not having calls returned isn't what an owner of any business wants to risk, especially a medical practice. If they can't take care of people up front, what happens taking care of people after? 2 STAR

Shame on you, Dr.Jerath. As a doctor, it amazes me that you have such little compassion for your…read morepatients. I've never received such horrible treatment at a doctor's office before and without the slightest apology or concern. I'll physically suffer for at least the next 6-8 weeks because you are too much of a coward even to try to have a conversation with me. You absolutely know this and tried to use the power of my appointment to intimidate me. Or maybe you were just behind, as usual, and it was easier for you that I just went away. I've been your patient for five years and have dealt with long appointment times, cancellations, and waiting in the lobby for up to an hour at a time. I've still always been kind and considerate to you and your staff. Making me wait 45 minutes in your lobby to turn me away; all the while, my insurance was completely fine and verified by the time I got to my car. Completely unnecessary! For the record, My insurance and I have paid you every four months for the last five years without delay. You should genuinely be ashamed

It saddens me to write this, but I must. Let me first begin by saying that Dr. Jerath delivered…read moreboth my babies successfully, and that is the only reason why I am giving this review 2 stars. However, this past pregnancy (my 2nd one) has not been very nice in her office. I have been harassed with several papers in the mail stating they are going to send me to collections for $9.41! Yes, for that much. However, I don't even owe that. Her office charged me a $40 copay on 10/13 during my 6week post partum visit and I was told by Nathan; the office clerk that it was a copay for the "televisit" that day. I had called my insurance prior to my appt and was told by my insurance BCBS Federal that I DID NOT have any copay for televisit as long as it fell under maternity, which it did. Regardless of this information relayed to Nathan, he still said he had to charge me and so I gave in and paid $40. I asked him to look into it because my visit was covered 100%. He said he would and would get back to me. I called almost weekly, and Nathan had no answers for me, EVER! He always seems so confused when I spoke with him. I was so livid that I had my insurance call him and educate him on the situation, which he confirmed was wrong. He then stated he would escalate it to his billing team, and they would get a hold of me. At this point, I make my appt for my 12 weeks PP but Nathan tells me that I owe money and I would need to pay it in order to be seen. I tell him I do not owe any money as my insurance verified it. I asked what could be done and he says that he would talk to Dr. Jerath first. He then gets back on the phone and says it is better to reschedule until it is resolved, all because I would not pay money that I do not owe in the first place. I called Nathan WEEKLY, for one whole month asking if he had gotten a hold of the office billing team and he always always seemed so confused and would say he was going to let them know. At one point, I am so frustrated with him that he finally includes me in an email to a billing person. However, regardless of my information provided to Nathan by my own insurance (since they called him and spoke to him) this person Callie Duggan tells me that they are not wrong and that I do owe money. Fast forward to January, I call BCBS again and give them all the dates Callie gives me for which BCBS says they billed wrong again and at this point, has suggested that I place a reconsideration reporting them and to investigate why they are billing incorrectly. The point of this review is NOT to slander, but rather open your eyes about this provider and their billing personnel. I am a nurse practitioner and stated that in my communication with Callie, the billing manager. However, after I asked her to correct her billing she stated "Claims cannot be coded a certain way because you or the insurance requests that solely to try and get the visit covered under revised coding. Alteration of claims in this way can be considered a form of insurance fraud. As a nurse practitioner, I'm sure you understand that we can't partake in insurance fraud, even at your request" After being mistreated and disregarded without offering to call my insurance and verify the information I have been relaying for months, I feel obligated to report them to my insurance and to open an investigation.

These guys are really dedicated to helping their patients with solutions to their medical problems…read more I have had several occasions recently to have contact about ongoing issues and found that they are good about exhausting all possibilities. In particular my contact has been with Dr Kinder. I found him to be genuine and personable and willing to take time in the appointment and on the phone to look for resolving my pain. He listens! A rarity in some medical practices. The clinic is supported by a true gem, Shelly, in referrals. She is knowledgeable and has a tremendous sense of urgency, another rarity in most health care practices. She has been a lifesaver to me in getting me quick responses. Well done team. You are all a true godsend and much appreciated!! Thank you for your greatest care.

I had been a patient at this facility for almost 8 years. I'm not someone who runs to the doctor --…read moreonly when I truly need to -- so in that entire time I was seen about 12 times and never had a single problem. My last visit was for severe quad pain after carrying my 90-lb dog up and down three flights of stairs. It was the end of the day and I was the last patient. I asked for a Toradol injection, which I had previously received at this same clinic for piriformis pain and it worked extremely well. The resident told me that because I had taken Advil earlier, Toradol might not be a good idea. I explained that the last time I received Toradol at this clinic, I had also taken Advil and was simply told not to take any more NSAIDs for a few days. He said he'd speak with the attending. The attending, Meg Burke, came in and again told me Toradol would not be given because it could hurt my kidneys. I repeated my prior experience at this very clinic. She said she would review my chart. When they came back, she simply said no. That was it. No alternative care plan. She never even laid hands on me for a physical exam. I then asked her -- calmly, though I was crying because I was in significant pain -- if she had any empathy. She immediately got up and left the room and encouraged the resident to leave as well. (He stayed and was actually decent.) The next day I read my care note and was shocked. It stated that I became combative after asking for -- and being denied -- a benzodiazepine. This is a blatant lie. I never once asked for a benzodiazepine. Not by class, not by name -- nothing. And honestly, what patient asks for a classification of drug instead of asking for the actual medication directly (like Valium or Ativan)? That alone makes no sense. In 8 years at this clinic I was prescribed Valium exactly three times -- 5 pills each time, for a total of 15 pills over nearly a decade. Once for flying, once when my son -- a Navy Special Forces operator -- went missing on deployment, and once when it was suggested by the physician for severe piriformis pain. That hardly constitutes drug-seeking behavior. Notably, the resident's note never mentioned me asking for benzodiazepines at all. Despite 8 years with zero issues, I was dismissed from the practice for being "combative" -- based on false charting. I reached out multiple times to the office manager requesting a call back and asking to add an addendum to my chart disputing this -- which is my legal right as a patient. My calls and emails were never returned. These doctors wonder why patients no longer trust the medical system. This is exactly why. If you are reading this, I would strongly suggest staying away. If you have no other option, do not see Meg Burke. In my experience, she falsified my chart, manipulated documentation, and then dismissed me to protect herself and her ego. Don't risk having inaccurate information placed in your permanent medical record.
