Beware. Though signeage indicates this facility is an "Urgent Care," they bill as a office visit.

I have had major withdrawals from not being able to get my medicine each month. I've missed a ton of work and missed out on big family events due to not being able to get them .Because it's a controlled substance they only give me one mo th at a time. I always gI've them 10 days notice when I'm going to run out. I leave messages, I talk to people at the front desk directly and It still doesn't get called into the pharmacy. This most recent time , I left a voicemail 10 days before my prescription ran out. Then I left another voicemail a few days later. this past Monday I called and spoke to someone at the desk. still nothing. I called again today and the lady says I need to be seen every 6 months to follow up on these meds . No one has ever told me that. It has been 6.5 months since my last visit . All the times I've called over the past 2 weeks and I'm just now hearing this? No call back, nothing. Keep in mind this is for narcolepsy and my follow up appointments take about 2 min because they have no idea what I've been through the past 10 years with this diagnosis. they aren't trained for sleep disorders. They charge an arm and a leg to say " how's it working" I tell them "great" and then it's over. $$$$$$ out the door for absolutely no reason. Do not go here. The lack of care for the individual patient is ridiculous. I shouldn't have to go without meds because they don't do their job correctly.

She is down to earth, patient, has a great bedside manner, and tells it to you straight. She was the only one who could help me at the hospital when I had some weird pregnancy complications. Clinic wise, the front desk staff at this location is friendly. In all my visits (there were probably close to 30) I only had a long wait one time and it was because the doctor got caught up with a complicated case. Front desk staff I have never had to wait to check in. Never had any issues with billing here. Nurses are great here. Would love to also switch to getting my PCP here but as with all practices the wait time for new patients is months out.

I made a reservation/appointment for 11:30 because I thought I had a sinus infection. I showed up 10 minutes early as requested and was quickly dismissed out the door and told it would be a telehealth visit. I complied and sat in my car. The triage nurse called me just a few minutes later to go over some intake questions and said the doctor would be right in the video call. I waited over an hour before I called the clinic and asked where the doctor was. She quickly gets on and tells me "well it just sounds like a cold so just take some mucinex and call me back if it's not better in 14 days." This call with her took all of 3 minutes. Knowing my body, I went to a different urgent care to actually be seen - I have a sinus infection and the flu. The quality of care has seriously decreased. I get it - everyone is stressed out and overworked - but to simply be refused care is unacceptable.

At minimum, she should tell a person so they can go elsewhere . She did nothing in a way of service. Very disappointed in medical professionals-my profession. Update: no doctor consultation is needed for covid testing . People have scheduled testing or gone to testing sites for a year for free but this place has you call to then have to have a tele health call to take the test. American healthcare is pathetic. All about money not health.

I had a cut on my finger - and all they did was wash the wound, tell me "you don't need stitches," and put a Band-Aid on my finger. The billing department informed me that that is the minimum price for a visit to their facility. To top it off, the doctors aren't employees of the affiliate hospital, so I ALSO owe over $100 (AFTER my insurance paid their portion) to the employer of the doctor who administered my Band-Aid. If you can afford a $500+ Band-Aid, then this is the place for you.

Let me be clear up front: I received excellent care and service from Saddle Rock ER when I visited the facility in January 2018, suffering from what I feared might be pneumonia. I was in the ER for a little less than two hours, of which at least one hour was idle (wait) time. I received the following services: vitals check (BP, pulse, temp), chest X-ray, throat swab (test for strep), vapor inhalant treatment, and brief examination by the physician on staff. The "shock and awe" came later when I received the EOBs from my health insurance provider indicating the submitted claims (three separate ones, so far) were in excess of $6,400! The only redeeming grace was that my insurance provider adjusted the submitted claim amounts down to what I assume they deemed "reasonable and proper": about $1,600 in my case. However, since I am a victim of the [not so] "Affordable Care Act," my not-so-affordable plan has extremely high deductibles, and I have to pay that $1,600 out of my own pocket...on top of my ridiculously high health insurance premium. Bottom line: It cost me $1,600 to get diagnosed with bronchitis, for which there was no treatment...just adding insult to injury. A very costly lesson for me; I won't be doing this again.

I provided the BP readings over the phone. She told me they could see me after placing me on a brief hold. I arrived and filled out the basic paperwork, she took my BP and (I assume she was a medtech), told me I had to pay $160 up front before I could be seen and evaluated. I reluctantly paid it. She brought me back to a room for my Evaluation and the Health Care Professional who was either a Nurse Practitioner or PA I believe, who immediately told me she could not see me. She told me I needed to go to the Emergency Room as they cannot provide care for this problem in this Urgent Care Setting. Here is where it gets interesting...I returned to the front desk person and requested a refund since I was not evaluated. She told me she could not give me my money back and told me to call the Office Manager. I have not only called Carbon Health Billing, as well as this Carbon Health Urgent Care clinic several times to receive my refund. Billing told me that the Office Manager at the clinic will call me back. Today is 1/13/25 and I have not heard from them. Additionally, I called my health insurance company and they also paid $160 to Carbon Health. All in all, $320.00 was paid to this clinic for the medtech to take my BP. This is absolutely ridiculous!!! I am contesting the charge with my credit card company and providing a report to the Fraud Department with my Health Insurance company. I am truly in shock that they have such poor ethics. DO NOT use them if you are in need of Urgent Care. They are very shady!!!!!

I made an appt right away and was seen immediately. The check in female was apathetic and really not that helpful. I was seen by what I assume to be a doctor (they gave me their first name but nothing else). He checked me in, examined me and I was on my way with a prescription in hand that would hopefully cure the lingering cough I had. Spoiler: it did not. A week later I stopped back because I wasn't getting any better, I was getting worse. I walked in on a Sunday morning hoping for a follow up and they told me I had to book another appt and pay again. I just wanted to talk to someone about next steps and once again, another check in lady seemed apathetic and begrudgingly let me talk to the physician/ PA (I literally have no clue). I talked to them, they started talking to me about my specimen sample I submitted when I then informed them I didn't submit any sample when I visited. They had me down as the wrong person. Suffice to say, that's when I knew I was done with the little clinic and off to find somewhere that could help! I wouldn't recommend stopping here, I felt like it was a waste of time.
