The staff are so friendly and happy to help at any point. The atmosphere is brilliant too. When we got there they asked me to complete a form, this detailed how I would like my hair, nails, make up and what change of clothes I had brought, I guess it helps the photographers know what photoshoot you are after. It took approx 50 minutes for a full make over and it was very good quality. When it was time to take pictures we got our own private room for changing, it had an iron and board in it too. The pictures were great quality and made even more enjoyable by the guidance of professional photographers. I loved it and it was amazing experience. Be prepared to dedicate half of the day for this.

I chose New ID for a couple of reasons. I was recommended to them by a friend of a friend when I…read moredecided that I wanted a total make over before my wedding and secondly because I really liked their website and it really inspired me to go ahead and book. I have read a few reviews that go on about how much the prints or negatives on CD cost but I didn't find it prohibitively expensive because there are so many different options to choose from, you can get a 5 x 7 for only 50 pounds and then anything up to 20 x 24 or you can choose to have them on CD. I chose a 5 x 7 an A4, a 12 x 16 and one big 20 x 24 for my lounge! They also have a great range of frames to choose from, I really liked the Master Collection so also got some prints to go into I it and chose the credit option that costs me less than 20 quid a month, to my mind it is well worth the money looks fantastic on my wall, everybody has admired it so I was really glad that I made the decision to get it. What I was really impressed by was the amazing variety in the picture. The use of the different backgrounds give you so much to choose from. There was a wall so it looked like I was outside in my casual gear, complete with wind machine, there is a sort of circle that I sat in, crouched in and lounged in and each shot had something different and a different look, there are funky backgrounds for your party look, classy chairs, close up shots, extreme close ups, portraits, the diversity of the prints was just amazing and each shot had something unique about it, it was way better than I could ever have imagined. I was really comfortable having the pictures taken as well, I was very worried that I would get hit with nerves but the photographer was great and took it all in his stride and showed me how to stand and how to look and really did get the very best out of me and made me feel like it was the most natural thing in the world to be doing, it was like second nature. The framed pictures only took 2 weeks and four days to arrive, it felt like a lifetime because I was so excited to show them off and they were just as good as I had remembered. My Husband and I are actually based in Perth, Western Australia so I was naturally apprehensive when deciding who our photographer would be for our wedding day. As someone who works in digital marketing, I knew I didn't want a photographer who would simply do the "normal" staged photographs, I wanted a collection of images which would be filled full of emotion and treasured memories - and boy did Chris deliver. From the moment I contacted Chris any concerns or worries I had were immediately put to ease. His tone and personality shone through in every piece of communication I received - whether that was via email, Facebook or SMS. Plus, his caring nature never faltered (despite all my annoying questions - and believe me, there were quite a few). Although we communicated electronically for over a year, we didn't actually meet Chris in person until our engagement shoot which was six months before our wedding. I distinctly remember getting back into my car after it having butterflies, because I knew straight away we had made the right decision. Over the course of the next six months we organised a plan of action for our wedding day. As I was getting married on NYE, I knew Chris would have limited options in terms of where to stop for photographs etc but he had a plan or suggestion for every scenario. I'll never forget how at ease he made us feel on the morning of our wedding either, he choose his moments to ask myself or my husband for shots and captured precious pictures with my family that I didn't even realise had happened until he sent them to me. I've received so many messages from other brides asking for his contact details after seeing my photographs, so I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Chris. Chris was our photographer at our wedding in December 2015. Chris was recommended by another…read morephotographer we liked but was unavailable. We met Chris shortly after contacting him and he showed us his portfolio of work. To say we were impressed was an understatement. Some of his shots were very dramatic but he assured us that he would shoot whatever we were comfortable with. We booked Chris there and then. We had our engagement shoot in an estate in Donegal which Chris suggested the Autumn before our wedding. The shots he took that day were exceptional. His use of colour and light is phenomenal. We have a couple of pictures from this shoot on display in our home since. On the wedding day itself, Chris was punctual and set the bride at ease from the off. He made everyone comfortable and was not at all invasive. As it was winter wedding, there was not much light to work with but the pictures Chris took in the church are so warm. He captured many moments in time perfectly. Chris got to the reception before we arrived and managed to get some great pictures of us approaching the hotel. We were limited in time to take any outside shots but there was no rush or pressure from Chris. He was ready when we were ready. He gave great directions on how to stand and placement of bodies etc. After the outside pictures, we had a number of group pictures we wanted taken. Chris was so patient throughout - even a large family picture with about 50 people to direct and keep attentive! The pictures taken throughout the night from the speeches, to cutting the cake, first dance and onwards are of the highest quality. Not a moment was missed. Chris was a true professional throughtout. He had our engagement pictures and wedding pictures with us very quickly. We are delighted with our wedding album which Chris designed and chose the layout for. We could not recommend Chris Mee as a wedding photographer highly enough.

I booked a model photo shoot for me and my best friend. I don't photograph well and wasn't getting…read moremy hopes up. I thought it would be a fun experience and at the end of the session I could get my free 10x8 photo and that would be it. How wrong I was! Nika and Mat (the owners) were wonderful, they were very welcoming, friendly. We were offered drinks and welcomed into the beautiful studio. The makeup artist was amazing. She was open to any requests and literally made them happen before my eyes. I've never worn so much make up but I looked great and felt great! Zika did my hair with ease, beautiful curls and it just set off my makeup. Then onto the shoot, the photography studio is state of the art. The photographer was a wonderful lady; she made me feel so comfortable. As I said, I don't photograph well and tend to keep out of photos, but she put me at ease. She guided me through lots of different backgrounds and sets and suggested all the poses for me which took the pressure of. She wasn't photo happy taking hundreds of photos; she took one great one of each set. All too soon it was over! Then it was into the viewing room with Mat to view my photos. THEY WERE FANTASTIC! I literally could not believe it was me on the screen. (This was before any editing, this was the raw photo). I instantly knew I wanted them. They were 100% worth the money. You get what you pay for and while it might seem really expensive, getting professionally taken photos, having the expert makeup and hair, lighting and state of the art camera technology costs money. They do a payment plan so you can spread the cost so there's no reason to not go for it! I cannot recommend Wild Ginger Photography highly enough. There services are at the top of the photography level. They've invested in the best equipment and staff to ensure the photos come out perfect. Since then I have had 3 more shoots, one with my partner and our dogs and two with my family. Nika's work just gets better and better. Thank you so much to Nika and Mat.
