EJF always says they contacted the vender but never say if they talked to them. They always say that vender will be there asap soon as possible. well is that in an hour? a day? A month? Never receive any further follow up from EJF. They state the vender hasn't responded. We'll get another vender who will respond! There is limited feedback if any from EJF. I sited a request in April 2026. Reminded them several times since then. All I want is some duplicate keys! it's now almost August 2026. I have no status update from Beth at EJF I'm pretty fed up with the lack of management, openness, follow through, degree of detail in all communication, and lack of proper closure.... as management company they should continuously advise as what is the present status and next steps might be and what next steps are recommended. I'm totally down on their ability to do the job and shine at it.

From the moment we met, her kind demeanor and clear expertise in the Washington, DC housing market shined through. I knew immediately she was the right person to help guide me through the process. And the team she's got working for her are also completely wonderful, too! I never went more than a couple hours waiting for an answer from them when I emailed - and it was usually way quicker. I was incredibly impressed by Jessica's detailed, thoughtful approach to how to think about marketing my home, how to prep it for the sale, and what to price it at. To be honest, I wasn't completely sure we'd be able to get the asking price she wanted to start at - it was high! But I trusted her because she was right about everything else up to that point. And holy cow we got the full asking price within 8 days of going on the market - on the first offer! I recommend Jessica 100% to anyone looking for a kind, incredibly smart, and savvy real estate agent in DC. She's truly one of a kind.

From day one, he truly listened to our needs and gave thoughtful recommendations about what would be a good long-term investment versus what might end up being a money pit. He wasn't the type to push for a quick sale--in fact, he pointed out property damage and issues we might've missed on our own, which really built our trust. He stood out among all the other real estate agents we attempted working with. Thanks to his guidance and expertise, we ended up getting our top-choice home in just eight days! The process was seamless from start to finish. Even recently, when we needed to relocate, Peter offered to help us find renters and has continued to be supportive. We'll absolutely be working with him again when it's time to sell. As first time home buyers, we felt we got amazing value for the services provided. Highly recommend Peter and the Red Cedar Real Estate team for anyone looking for a knowledgeable, genuine, and reliable agent.

The best way to describe Peter and Red Cedar is high touch, white glove - concierge service. Peter knew the market and had a powerful team of equally adept realty professionals. Nothing happened without Peter's knowledge and he always focused on what was best for us: Initially meeting through closing. Here's where the professionalism goes to another level - Peter builds relationships with his clients, throws mixers, and checked up on us a couple of times per year. And, he DIDN'T ASK US FOR THE NEXT DEAL each time he subtly checked in on us over 5 years! He and his team cares about you - long term not just to get a sale. After 5 years of relationship building, we called Peter and the Red Cedar team for support. He came over. We completed representation paperwork, his AMAZING 360 degree Ariel and interior video/photography genius turned up and transformed our house into a buyer's beacon that sold our home within 24-48 hours of posting - FULL PRICE OFFER!!!! This is Red Cedar - all day long. After getting an offer, Peter and his team coordinate every document, appointment, and follow-up like a well oiled machine. The signing appointment was completely painless without any hiccups in the paperwork or payout - again, Peter and Red Cedar are professionals and the service providers (Ex. Title Company) were exceptional too. Thanks Peter and Red Cedar for your exemplary support, education, and caring over 5 years!

I am very excited to lease with Rent the District. Prompt responses to emails, quick answers to phone calls, transparent updates throughout the process, and even reassurances to call you back if they are tied up at the moment (and they actually call back as soon as they can!) Since my roommates and I are all out of town at the moment, and unable to tour the property in person prior to signing the lease agreement, Hanna assured me that her assistant Johnny would send me a video tour the following day. And sure enough, the next day - Johnny had a detailed video tour of the home in my inbox. Any question I had about the property, Johnny was able to answer. We so look forward to working with Hanna and her team during the duration of our lease agreement. If the last week is any indication of how our experiences will be as Rent the District tenants, I very much look forward to staying at this property. Hanna and Johnny were both very friendly, and professional. I will recommend Rent the District to any of my friends who look to rent or have property management services in DC. Thank you again!

As a prospective renter, my experience was very poor. The man who showed me the apartment I was…read moreinterested in was very nice, but didn't know much about the property or me (he was waiting in a different unit than the one I wanted to see because he got mixed up). That would have been fine. But what really annoyed me was the application process. The management is not familiar with more modern ways to verify employment and income (such as third party service) and insisted on unredacted pay stubs - which is much less secure. The interaction as we went back and forth was rude and reminded me of scammers trying to get one to divulge information urgently (because so many people are interested in the apartment!) at the cost of better judgement. In trying to get more information from me they cited their "policies" but being unable to articulate why their policy insists on having the information I didn't want to share (like my pre-tax deductions) This conversation was not with some mid-level employee but what seemed to be the owner. I should hope he could articulate the reasoning behind his own policy! To me, this company clearly orients themselves to customer service of property owners, not renters. Which fair enough, but it doesn't mean I have to like it. To the reader/renter: Don't let these people bully you!

Thank you, Franky and Team!…read more If you are looking for a house in the DMV area, Franky is the perfect agent! HE IS THE PERSON WHO HELP US TO FIND THE HOUSE JUST WITHIN THE 2nd OFFER in NICE AREA! My husband and I met Franky at one of the open houses in Washington DC. At that time, we didn't have any idea about the home-purchasing process. Even Though we searched online, we still got lost since we didn't know what the first step was and what our priority was. Franky helped us to understand the overall process, and encouraged us to think about our future life to set the goal of home-purchasing. Even Though we were not his clients at the moment, he gave us a 1-hour presentation of the whole process with the pamphlet. When we decided to go with Franky, he tried his best for us to find our FIRST HOME with some of our considerations. Since both of us work full-time, he made house-tour appointments or meetings (regarding making offers) after work hours. After our offer was accepted, Franky and his team gave sufficient advice regarding everything, such as locking the mortgage, depositing, final walk through, and the settlement! It took only 6 weeks to move into the new home since we started to look at the house to buy. As you can see my name, I am a foreigner and the whole process seemed overwhelming for me. However, Franky helped my husband and I to relieve the stress by communicating with the selling agent and title company. (Oh, I heard that he speaks English as well as Spanish). If my friend who came from foreign country asks me to recommend any agent, I will recommend FRANKY and his team! I am writing this review in my new, cozy room, where I dreamed about since I immigrated here. I can convince that if you work with Franky, you will never regret.
