But we fel like it was a get in and get out atmosphere, which is wrong for a place like this. Good idea but needs to have a revamp.

She even went over the sauces with us and gave recommendations. Decent sized indoor seating area. About 6 tables ranging from 4-6 chairs each. Two gender neutral restrooms available off the indoor dining area. We ordered the Mac Daddy sandwich and a single plate with smoked turkey and mac & cheese. The single came with a vinaigrette coleslaw as well, but I'm not a vinegar fan so I gave it to my husband. He didn't seem to care for it either. Said it would taste better on a pulled pork sandwich. Other than the coleslaw all other food was absolutely delicious! Only wish they offered some sort of dessert as well, but didn't see anything listed on their menu. Prices were reasonable. We had two meals and a 16 oz beer for $40 with tip. Not bad at all for BBQ! Would highly recommend.

These guys have been open for over a year now and every time I've been in the staff have been friendly and helpful. What bumps this down from 5 stars for me is that the beer selection can sometimes be a little hit or miss on the craft side of the equation. You'll always find enough Kokanee here though if that's your thing.

The menu is limited but the items on it are on par with some of the better cafes in San Francisco. The breakfast bagels are spot on and made with care and attention. Bacon jam is to die for. The staff are friendly and the cafe is very inviting and begs for you to sit,relax and enjoy the subtle non disruptive music. Very peaceful experience and a relaxing break if you are driving by. Only recommendation would be to change the sign out front. We have had a place in the valley for almost 10 years and drive by regularity and have seen the sign saying "loca"l but never noticed the small words "coffee house".Maybe that's a good thing for us though. I think it would attract a lot more business if it were more noticeable from the main road and we would have a longer wait. Great place well done.

The inside is just lovely... so well organized and decorated... and efficient. They have some lovely nibbles (which we sadly did not partake in) to choose from. The coffee is very tasty. Husband got the drip... light roast. I got an iced vanilla latte with coconut milk. (Their alternative milks - which are not listed on the menu board - are coconut milk and oat milk.) My latte was strong and tasty! Had me buzzing a bit and probably was not a good idea to then sit for about 2 hours in the car as I was hopped up like a spider monkey once we got out of the car in Banff. hahaha!
