Hollywood Photo came up for passport photos so I put in an inquiry on the website. I received a response that yes they did passport photos and to call. I have to admit I was annoyed at having to call but seconds into my call on the phone with Tolga I had a smile on my face. He's just a super pleasant guy! It was easy to schedule an appointment, and the studio is easy to find, just off the 51. There's parking literally in front of the door too! Tolga is just as nice in person and you can tell he really loves his job! I asked him some questions about what he loves about photography and his face was so animated. I love seeing people love what they do! We took a new photo quickly and I gave my approval. Such a better photo than at the drugstore! Better lighting, better camera, and someone who actually knows what they are doing and cares makes a huge difference. Tolga let me know that the digital photo acceptance for passports has been tricky and to let him know if I had an issue. When I tried to submit the next day, I did have an issue and sent him an email. He replied right away with a new image file and that worked great. Not only did I get a photo I was much happier with, it was also a really pleasant experience. I would absolutely recommend Tolga for any photography needs!

For dog sitting, in our home, we've used Michelle several times now and she is great. Our 3 dogs love her and she clearly loves them too. We have 2 Great Danes and Beagle/Boston Terrier mix who are getting up there in age. Our male Great Dane has a number of health issues and Michelle handles it all so well. There's a laundry list of medications for the dogs and she does a great job keeping up with it all. She doesn't mind when I'm that helicopter dog mom and I check too often on my sick boy. Regardless of his illness, Michelle sends many pictures and text updates on how things are going with all the dogs. As a very protective momma, I trust Michelle completely with my furbabies and home. We love having Michelle take care of our babies... so much so that when we were planning the August trip we just completed, she wasn't available on our original dates, so we moved our trip to make sure she was available. I appreciate the freedom Kristie and Michelle offer us to get away several times a year. I completely trust them. Give them a shot!

Overpriced. Unimpressed. I won a "free pet portrait session"…read moreat an animal charity event. I was super excited to get a great photo of my dog. I called to schedule an appointment and right away I was told the $300 value was for a sitting fee and in order to set the appointment I need to pay an additional $150 for three portrait package. Against my better judgment I went ahead and paid the fee and set the appointment. By the time everything was all said and done I think Jennifer offered me maybe a 12 portrait package for over $800. I told her that my girlfriend recently had head shots done in Los Angeles with a professional photographer who did her hair and makeup and provided her with over 500 retouched digital images for less than that - and she spent over half the day with him. Jennifer seemed unimpressed. And to be honest I am unimpressed with the photos we received at the price we paid. I ended up paying almost $400 for 6 digital photos and two 8x10's (and that's not including the $300 "value" or credit.) I should've wrote a review back when I had the service done but I kind of blew it off. And then this morning I saw her giant mobile billboard in front of Chapparal Dog Park and felt like I need to share my experience . I just want others to beware.

My dog does not like new people at all but she quickly warmed up to Kat. Kat was also amazing in that she really listens to you. She listen about what type of photos I wanted with my dog, the back drop, and feel for the pictures. She looked at multiple places and found the trail head that was perfect! She was so patient with my dog and us as we don't usually do photo shoots and not very photogenic. She captured my dogs personality and both my husband and mine as well in her photos. She spent so much time with us and took so many pictures! So just the photo session was already awesome. When it came to the editing she and I communicated through text and she was always responsive (within 24 hours). She sent examples for the layout of the book and canvas. She was very accommodating with my busy work schedule and flexible with me. Another thing that impressed me with Kat was her timeliness for the project. I understand things take time, but she gave me a time line and stuck to it. That is important as my other photographer/videographer (Corey H) still have not given us our wedding video and it is a week or so shy of the one year mark... Finally... the product we got in the mail was amazing! Kat made sure we received it and was there to follow up. The cherry on the top was when I got the book. She is definitely a professionally and take pride in her work. The book was wrapped and had a thank you note plus a beautiful ribbon. Most people would sent you a box and be done but that extra detail made my day! I honestly have dealt with a lot of good and bad people, but I can be confident to say Kat really is professional and the addition to detail makes every dollar count. You get what you pay for and she is very fair especially with the product she produce!
