We also loved the venue's recommended vendors, who all helped make our day so special. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the end of the evening felt much more stressful than expected. After celebrating all day, we had to help pack, load, and remove all of our personal décor that same night. We had understood the décor would be packed and ready for us to load, but instead several of our family members and guests ended up helping pack everything before we could leave. Unfortunately, some of our personal décor items were also damaged during the packing process, which was disappointing since many of them were sentimental. One suggestion I have for future weddings would be to allow couples to pick up their packed décor early the following morning. On the morning of our wedding, there was already a venue tour and another couple's rehearsal taking place, and the staff handled both so seamlessly that we barely noticed. Since the venue is already in use the next morning, offering a short pickup window for the previous night's couple could make the end of the wedding day much less stressful without disrupting operations. Overall, none of this takes away from how beautiful our wedding day was or how much we appreciated the Miller's Landing team. We are incredibly thankful for everything they did to help make our day so memorable and would absolutely recommend the venue to couples looking for a stunning place to get married.

Even the small amount of things not included in package pricing, they gave recommendations that were great! The property is so beautiful and so well maintained even when we toured it when it was raining and sleet coming down! The ceremony site is a dream, which flows right into the cocktail area, and then reception/dinner in the beautiful, rustic barn and everything flows perfectly. It's small enough to where people don't wander off and disappear or get too separated, but big enough to provide spaces and pockets for people to hang out in. Fox in the Woods Catering was absolutely delicious and the venue tasting was great--we had such a hard time deciding what to choose because it was all so good. The bridal suite did get a little warm on our 80 degree wedding day, but they have portable air conditioners that helped. We loved the table and mirrors so my bridesmaids not getting hair and makeup done could do their own there. The groom suite is a great spot for the guys and every space is so well put together and comfortable. Our day of coordinator included with the venue, Ashly, was amazing in creating our day of timeline, setting up decor and making sure our vision came to life. Family owned and operated was the way to go. We felt so special and didn't have a single thing to worry about and we had the most perfect wedding day. The mansion is so huge, they had plenty of room to stretch out, the hills on the property provided for fun sledding and snowman building. The adults were either at the sauna, jacuzzi, kitchen, outside in the snow walking the 2 acres of property or just relaxing in one of the many comfy nooks. I highly recommend Edgewood Mansion for any type of event whether it's a birthday trip, family reunion, corporate retreat or any other purpose where you want to feel like you're at home, or provided for like a Queen. The location which is located higher up in the mountains is away from the traffic. The accommodations are immaculate and the concierge services provided by Chantal who was available to us 24/7 before we got there and during, was spot on. We catered instead of cooking which was so much easier on everyone so we could enjoy each other's company versus cooking. Chantal gave us choices and she had Mexican food delivered one night, Italian catered another and on New Years Eve we had a personal chef, Mike who is a master chef create the most delicious surf and turf dinner. We had piles of Alaskan king crab legs and the freshest, tastiest filet. Everything was provided. This was an amazing trip because of where we stayed, the owner Laura who was so accommodating and Chantal who was so helpful. Our friends have not stopped thanking us for coordinating this trip. We all got to spend time together with the kids together and not feeling overwhelmed because everything was at our fingertips. Unfortunately, our experience with the service did not match the beauty of the venue. From the moment we arrived in the parking lot, the staff seemed unwelcoming. We smiled and greeted them, but not one person smiled back. We tried not to let that affect us because we were there to joyfully celebrate a family member's wedding. The bar staff also seemed unfriendly, and I felt as though I was inconveniencing them simply by asking for a cup of ice. The drinks appeared to contain mostly ice and juice. I rarely drink except on special occasions, but I can normally smell or taste alcohol in a mixed drink, and I could not detect any in the drinks I received. It also would have been nice if guests had been offered water or another refreshing beverage more consistently. The trolley service was another major disappointment. At the end of the evening, I saw a cart coming up the hill and waited because I thought it was picking us up. Instead, it parked and the three guests riding in it went inside a nearby trailer. My elderly cousin, my husband, my two children, and I had to walk down the hill, as many other guests did. I eventually had to remove my heels and walk barefoot on the rocky surface cutting the bottoms of my feet because I was afraid of falling. My feet were still hurting afterward. I do want to recognize one tall young man on staff who was genuinely helpful and kind. His kindness stood out and was appreciated. After reading other reviews, I wonder why our experience was so different. Guests seem to receive either excellent five-star service or very disappointing service. In my honest opinion, this venue has tremendous potential, but there are important areas that need improvement--especially staff friendliness, access to refreshments, and reliable shuttle service for children, elderly guests, and anyone wearing formal shoes. The venue itself was beautiful, and we were fortunate to have great weather. I sincerely hope the service improves so future guests receive an experience that matches the beauty of the property.

Oren was always attentive and available for any questions. The engagement pics were absolutely perfect - the setting, the lighting, the shots - all done so well. We have gotten so much mileage out of those pics. But the videography was second to none. These guys sent 2 cameramen with high def cameras and sound to catch every angle. They came early and stayed late, capturing every single moment - from the bride getting ready, all the way through the dancing. We just received our video today, and it is incredible. The music overlay and editing was flawless - we could not be happier. Oren and his team are true pros, and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for the BEST videdographer in SoCal. This is one area where you want to be sure about the skills of your vendor, and with these guys you can rest easy that everything will be better than perfect. They were very…read morequick to respond to emails and phone calls and very flexible in working with us to meet our "vision". Oren and Nikita showed up on time and ready to go. They had great HD cameras that were very compact and unobtrusive. We had our reception at night and they had lights on their cameras to pick up all of the action. They had equipment to plug into the dj's equipment to get perfect audio of all of the speeches. Throughout the entire day they were getting all of the perfect shots without being visible. We were worried that getting a videographer would mean having a camera stuck in your face all day, but we barely even noticed Oren and his team. They did a great job capturing our day without us even knowing they were there. We were married on a Saturday. 5 days later Oren had already compiled a "highlights reel" quick version video with a few songs that we gave him playing in the background. We were absolutely amazed at the footage they shot, the way in which it was put together and how it flowed so perfectly with the music. We shared the video with our friends and family and everyone raved about how well the video was put together and that it brought tears to their eyes because they did such a great job of capturing all of the special moments.
