He was passionate about the food, knew the menu, and was super enthusiastic. All the dishes were fresh, delicious, and had us wanting more. What a delightful surprise! The restaurant itself is cozy, not massive. Our server was attentive and friendly, offering suggestions. Pretty disappointing for $50 dinner. Their lomo saltado is $31, almost double of other Peruvian restaurants and there are only 5 pieces of meat. My steak that was ordered rare was cooked well done while Anticuchos that are supposed to be cooked well done were cooked medium rare. Disrespectful treatment toward Peruvians in a Peruvian restaurant - unbelievable but true: I had a very disappointing experience at Inti Gourmet. The owner, who is Peruvian herself, treats fellow Peruvians with disrespect--especially those with Andean features. While dining with friends, I witnessed her mocking and making inappropriate comments about us. Even worse, she openly gossips about customers with her staff, judging them by their appearance and making assumptions about their ability to pay. A Peruvian restaurant should make you feel at home, but here, you're made to feel small. This is not an isolated case--I later found out she often behaves this way. Truly shameful behavior. Nowhere on the menu description does it state that this dish is cheese based. I do not recommend for those who are not a fan of cheese. At first you would be weary of the location, due to that this place is tucked away in a small strip plaza. The space isn't all that big but the food and ambiance is amazing! **Avoid INTI - A Huge Disappointment** After giving this place multiple chances, I regret to say that I will never return to INTI. We've dined here a few times before, and while the food was mediocre at best, we thought we'd give it one more shot. Unfortunately, tonight's experience was just as disappointing, if not worse. The food was subpar - bland, uninspired, and definitely not worth the price. For what they charge, the food should be exceptional, but it was far from it. If you're looking for quality Peruvian cuisine, look elsewhere. To make matters worse, we walked in and were immediately hit with ridiculously loud music. It felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant. We politely asked the waitstaff twice to lower the volume, only to be told it was the restaurant's "policy" to blast obnoxious music. Who wants to try to enjoy a meal in that kind of environment? On top of all this, they include a 15% service charge with your bill, which essentially ensures they get their tip regardless of how poor the service and food are. It's incredibly frustrating and feels like a forced tip for a subpar experience. There are plenty of other Peruvian spots in the area that offer far better, more authentic food. It's a shame this place can't live up to the standard. My wife is Peruvian, and we travel to Peru often, so we know what good Peruvian food tastes like - and this is not it. I will not be coming back, and I absolutely do not recommend INTI to anyone. There are so many better options in the area. Save yourself the disappointment and find a more authentic place to dine. read more

I had the ceviche that was the house special "Inti Carretillero" @$28, from a list of many choices. Beautifully presented and delicious. It really could suffice as a full dinner. My companion had Pescado a lo Macho, a delicious mild grilled fish @$30. It was a generous portion and some came home in a takeout box. They add an "automatic service fee gratuity" to the check. I don't mind paying high prices because i know the quality and service here is great but honestly paying a $30 plate and having the restaurant diminish the portion size its not right.
