My previous dr agreed to help me until I could find a replacement due to my spine injury. Office let me nearly run entirely out of medication before contacting me telling me Dr couldn't help me. He only does injections. I'm diabetic and unfortunately cannot have injections. (All was included in paperwork I filled out weeks ago) to which they ask me if I'd like to keep my appointment to be referred out again. (I pay out of pocket so this was insult to injury) I don't want to be horribly in pain waiting for another dr. That isn't how good pain management works. Anyway. Just watch your scheduling with this office and make sure you don't end up in a bad spot like they left me.

Nichole Miller APRN was extremely helpful and caring. I did not find anyone to be rude as some of the other reviews say. It is unfair to the practice if one employee is having a bad day. My injections have been pretty painless and well attended by the staff before, during and after. They make sure you are good to go before you head out. Rarely do you wait. He stands alone so he is not restricted by practice policy to only recommend what is controlled by a group practice. Love that. He also knows about his entire practice so he can answer insurance questions too! He regulates patients appointments so that you are not waiting in a crowded room forever either. I have been a patient of Dr. Brian Wallace's for several years following a torn ACL repair. I…read morerecently made an appointment due to shoulder pain and decreased strength in the gym. Dr. Wallace ordered an MRI which is conveniently located in the Joint Replacement Institute practice. His staff worked with my insurance when they first denied coverage even though it was the last few days of the year and my family had more than met the deductible. The MRI was covered and revealed a 50% torn rotator cuff and Dr. Wallace suggested PRP (Plasma Rich Platelets). Blood is drawn from the patient and spun to produce PRP which contains a mixture of platelets, including cytokines and growth factors, and has anti-inflammatory properties which injected into an injury site can stimulate the healing process. I have truly been more than pleased with the results. I no longer have shoulder pain including when I lay on my side and I am working my way back up to push-ups and heavier weights in the gym.
