You start at exactly the time you are suppose to be there at and you end at that exact time, not a second earlier. The service and lessons feel very impersonal and it was not a good vibe to start lessons. Also, you cannot reschedule your appointment if your child is sick or you cannot attend for a reason. You get a online lesson sent to you, not the one on one you paid for. WAA does explain this to us in the beginning, but at the end, this was one of the many reasons we didn't move forward. If you are looking for violin lessons, look for someone that specializes in only that instrument. We did not get that here.

If her customer service is any indication of the school, then we're sure to have found a home for my daughters. Dave. H

He's happy, more confident, and his teachers at school have noticed real academic improvement. I am so grateful we found this place! What truly sets Bear School apart is the value. The staff are kind, observant, and intentional--they quickly recognized that my son learns best in a quieter group and consistently accommodate that, which makes a huge difference. It feels personalized, not cookie-cutter. The program is well organized, no-fuss for parents, and the staff are fluent in both Vietnamese and English. Most importantly, I trust them completely with my child. The kids feel safe and supported, and for the quality of care, attention, and results, the value is outstanding. I highly recommend Bear School to any parent.

He asked what I needed, and I explained that my acoustic guitar had a broken peg tuner. I already had the replacement part with me, so I handed it over. Instead of jumping straight into recommendations or upselling, he immediately tried to fix it on the spot. Once he confirmed it was repairable, he quickly cut the string, replaced the tuner, and got everything back in place. The whole process took less than 10 minutes! I live in Carson, so driving out to Lakewood and getting it fixed the same day was such a relief. This guitar isn't for professional use--it's for my daughter who's just starting to learn--so having it ready right away saved me a lot of time and hassle. He even tuned it by ear in seconds, which was really impressive. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience. I really appreciated the quick, no-nonsense service and would definitely come back again for future repairs!

It has a neighborhood vibe that feels warm and personal which can sometimes be hard to find. Both my kids are learning piano with Paige and they have just blossomed under her tutelage. She's attentive to technique but still keeps it fun, and she always provides guidance on what to practice at home. Also, she's flexible with scheduling lessons which has been helpful with our hectic schedule. I haven't had any interaction with the other teachers but I'm sure they're great, too. There are recitals twice a year at a nearby church, and the cost is minimal to participate. Super well-organized, and it's a great opportunity for the kids to be brave and showcase their talents. I've seen my kids grow on stage and the other kids, too. So it's kind of neat to see everyone's growth. And while most kids are in the beginning phases of their journey, there's also some pretty advanced music going on, as well.
