Their harsh communication was unnecessary and very stressful. Their work is not professional, the structures built were not high quality. We refrained from speaking up for awhile but it's not fair to anyone else who may go through something similar. We have recorded all details and have photos of their work, we've considered small claims court as we now see how that worked out in a previous clients favor. Overall, we had an awful experience and have had to tell others to put their trust in another company.

[This is part of a set of reviews covering establishments my family and I encountered while taking…read morea road trip to Cincinnati.] To be honest, I have no idea what Big O's does or sells. Presumably they do things with/sell trailers. But I had to give a rating to this place based on the following story. This is part 2. Part 1 can be found at http://www.yelp.com/biz/bp-station-portage As I walk toward Big O's, I see a display trailer set up outside with an awning and a table. A woman notices me, makes eye contact, and starts walking toward me as I approach. "Can I help you?" "Yeah. I'm out of gas. Do you have ANY idea where I could get some?" "Hmmm... all we have is diesel here. Just a second." The other guys at the display trailer go about their business chatting amongst themselves. She starts walking past the front entrance of the store into a gated area. She asks a group of another 4 guys if they have any suggestions and they all look blankly (I'm starting to see a trend here) and shake their heads. She finds another woman and they mumble to each other and head further into the gates. I follow. The second woman points to a spot on the lot and the first woman pulls out a gas can. A wave of relief pours over me. She pours the first gas can into a second smaller plastic gas container. I'm not sure why she did that since she pretty much emptied the first can into the second with about a half a gallon of gas. "Thank you SO much," I say. "I'll give you a ride to your car." "You don't have to do that. I'm just down the road," pointing to my car. "It's no problem. I want to get away from here anyway." "Ok." We get in her car and I come to find that a nearby river overflowed and they were under 3-4 feet of water for about a week. The week before, I-94 and Hwy 33 had been closed for several days. She gives me directions to Exit 108, I drip the contents of the gas can into my car and make it two miles to fill up my car. I filled up her gas can and returned it thanking the woman profusely. None of the other men at Big O's were very friendly, but I can see their attitude when trying to clean up after a big ol' mess. The woman that helped me may have had ulterior motives to give me a ride, but she didn't have to work as hard as she did to get me the little gas they had. That's the kind of helpfulness I expect from a small town. So if you need a trailer, and aren't far from Portage, WI, stop in at Big O's. Or if you ever find yourself stupid enough to run out of gas in the middle of Wisconsin, know that there will be at least one person around willing to help you out.

I advised at that time I would remove the fender liners so they could do a thorough job. They said that was fine. I dropped my vehicle off as scheduled & went to lunch. I rec'd a call from them stating they could not do the undercoating due to the fender liners being removed. I called them back & they agreed to do a partial application for half the price & I would return once the liners were reinstalled to finish the job. I had an uneasy feeling about this place, so when I returned home, I removed the plugs from the holes & could see they had barely sprayed any product inside the doors or rocker panels. They didn't do the tailgate at all! I called P&B to discuss this sloppy job & in order to resolve the issue, they agreed to finish the remainder of the job for no additional cost to me. When I called back to make the appointment, the manager who was going to do the work was never there & never returned any of my calls. I had to call corporate to get this resolved. I ended up getting my money back. I took my vehicle to a different business in Madison who did a complete/thorough job for less then what P&B was charging. I will not take my vehicle back to this business. Shabby work & disappointing customer service.

After asking friends and neighbors with no luck I turned to Yelp and saw the great reviews for Monona Motors. It is a tiny place so it is hard to get into but I was not in a rush - two weeks out was OK. Greg and the guys were really friendly and straightforward in helping to figure out what was wrong. They only fixed what was wrong and did so in a cost effective way. They also discovered a very rusted out part that needed replacing in order to replace a rocker arm (I saw the old one - wow I am lucky it didn't fall apart). They tried getting the part from Nissan but due to pandemic supply chain issues it was not available but they found one from the South on Ebay for a quarter of the price of new. It was in great shape (no salt used down there). I like their initiative in trying Ebay for the part. I brought the car back for this additional work. It was done quickly and for the price quoted. So far so good with both the brake job and the front end work - and I am sure I saved a ton of $ going to these guys. I am glad I found them on Yelp!
