Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. They worked fast to figure out our problem. They were very professional.

These two idiots came out to our house to look at our RV and fumbled around for an hour and a half only to tell us they didn't know what was wrong with it and we should have it towed to a shop. Not even their shop just take it somewhere else. Charged us $350. Never use interstate repair. It's a total scam and they have no idea what they're doing. Next day we towed the RV to performance truck Inc. in Racoon valley and Terry looked at it for about 15 minutes, found the problem and repaired it in under an hour for less than $100. It was just a $2 fuse. So if you ever need your RV or big truck serviced that's where you should go. read more

Whew, yikes. They overcharged towing my RV by 2 hours. I called them the next day (today) and just got off the phone. I was originally quoted a price of $185 per hour, and I was ok with that. It took them almost exactly 3 hours to get my RV and bring it to my house and unloaded, even after airing up a flat tire (they told me after this happened, I wasn't aware it was flat). I have timestamps in my phone from them calling me when they were getting ready to pick it up and then when they got close to my house, and it came to 3 hours almost down to the minute. They charged me for 5 hours. So I called, thinking we could easily work out the misunderstanding, but they got really hostile and nasty almost immediately. They said I had to pay to get their wrecker back to their business, which I didn't know at all. And originally I thought maybe that was a common thing and I didn't know, but my husband had been listening when I hired them and he told me they clearly said from pickup until disconnect. And even still, if I paid them to get back to Knoxville, I was still overcharged by an hour. And at $185 per hour that is a chunk. So over the course of the 23 minute phone call I was cussed at, insulted, and talked down to. Finally I had to just tell them that I would dispute the charge with my credit card company. It's ridiculous. I highly, highly recommend you go to another towing service if you can. These people are crooks and I wish I had called anyone else. read more

I lost brakes coming out of the Smoky Mountains and ran the last four miles using the emergency brake (sorry to everyone behind me, I had to get to the KOA). Found the Interstate RV Repair in the KOA information. They came out the next and took a part to reorder. Nathan said not to worry and they'd be out the next day and will start the repair even though we would be at Dollywood. Nathan and Jason were freaking phenomenal and the bill was less than all our bets (RVer humor). I would hire them again in a heartbeat. And we made it home safe with great new brakes. Was traveling through Tennessee and my air conditioning compressor went. So I saw a billboard for RV super center and decided to stop. It was only 92 in my RV. Super center was backed up with work. They recommended Interstate. Drove over to Interstate. and Jimmy was on duty. He diagnosed the problem quickly, checked availability for compressor. Two day. :( Jimmy showed me how to use generator to run overhead AC. Jimmy was cordial, knowledgeable and honest. read more

RUN! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could leave a zero, I would.... Frankly, I can't understand why others rated this vendor so high. Maybe the vendor was having a bad month! HORRIBLE customer focus, and someone needs to teach the woman in the office some manners when speaking to customers. After the first cancellation due to their workload, I was dissapointed that I had stayed home all day waiting for them to show up but I was more than understanding and agreed to reschedule for the next day. Jake was very courteous but kept prommising me "First thing tomorrow', for 11 days. Then the woman who called my wife copped an attitude and hung up when we told her we were no longer interested in using their services. I realize that the fall of the year is a busy time for rv repair in Knoxville. However, if you are short handed or over booked, be honest with the customer and appologize that you can not accomodate. That would sit a whole lot better with the customer than overprommising and underdelivering. Bottom line, I wasn't told why they couldn't live up to their commitment and was then met with poor customer focus and poor PR when we decided to take our work elsewhere. I was left hanging until the day before a long distance trip only to have to scramble at the last minute to find a competitor to perform the work. In October, 2018, we had our EGR malfunction coming into Knoxville and found this shop with a google search and drove in; they were kind enough to let us camp in their parking for a couple nights; ultimately, we ended up needing to go to a specialist for our repair but would highly recommend them! read more

Great people and great service. I was traveling through and had a brake line bust while pulling my travel trailer. They got my truck fixed and on the road as soon as they could towed the camper to the shop and even sent someone to bring my family to the shop while we waited on repairs. I can't say enough nice things about this company. Great work and many thanks to them. read more

Unlike the other two reviews, I was not happy with our service. We stopped at Interstate after making an appointment while passing thru TN on the way to VA because our dash air in our class A coach had stopped working. He evacuated and charged the system with 4 lbs of Freon, said that we didn't have any leaks. Charged us $342. Four or five days later we had no dash air again. I think he should have suggested or offered to add dye just in case we did have a leak that he missed. The place in VA where I did get it repaired charged us $142. do the exact same thing Interstate did with the same machine. We feel we received poor service and were ripped off. The owner, Jack, was asked to refund some of our fee but refused. read more
