    Before

After returning from a 4,000 mile motorcycle trip, I need to give thanks and a shout out to Interstate Honda in Fort Collins, CO. We were in Granby, CO when we realized the rear tire on my Concours 14 was starting to show belts! (and I live in Illinois!) We were staying in Fort Collins that night (yes, riding 2 up). It was Monday lunchtime and most motorcycle dealers were closed on Monday. Interstate Honda was open! They had the tire size and style I needed in stock! To top it off, they moved their schedule around on Tuesday morning to fit us in! They even finished the job while we were down the road at McDonalds in less time than estimated. Thanks to Alex Templeman (Assistant Service Manager) and Brian (guy who changed the tire). I will not underestimate the tire wear of the rougher mountain roads again!

I cant believe the bad luck. This place had my bike for almost 2 months. They broke my covers and even damaged my bike exhaust. Don't take you bike here unless you like poor overpriced work. Should have went anywhere else.

I got quotes from several places. They were the most affordable. I've got 2 vehicles, am a gearhead owning everything from Porsches to '67 GTO's and '55 Chevys and this is my body shop from now on !! Include these folks, (friendly, easy) in any quotes you get for bodywork. I chose them for the price and reviews. And the results in 2025 for my 2011 Avalon were 100% !!

I did not fully understand that this shop was going to do a counter quote. After dropping off my car and getting my insurance info over (which I should have never done) I get notified two weeks later that my vehicle is totaled because the shop sent a counter quote back to my insurance and stripped a lot of the vehicle down and said it was going to cost upwards of 10,000 to fix in which my insurance totaled the vehicle. Because my insurance totaled the vehicle this shop would not let me have my vehicle back unless my insurance paid them over $3,000 for the "work" that was "performed" and the "daily vehicle storage fee". The car was never repaired, and I was left with a now "totaled" vehicle that only had cosmetic issues and a bent door frame... Beyond the worst experience at any shop I've ever had. Do not take your vehicle here as this shop tries to squeeze money out of insurance and will hold your vehicle hostage. Edit after shop reply 10/30/25: My first mistake was dropping the vehicle off. My second mistake was sending my insurance info over. All I wanted was the door bent back straight and a basic repair. When I dropped my vehicle off I don't remember it being clear that you were going to do a tear down and then charge a storage fee towards insurance. After I finally Received my vehicle back from your shop I put my own vehicle back together after I got it back and it took me about 2hrs. Charging my insurance $3000 for no actual repair work is insane. I remember quote for quote what you said to insurance since they hadn't paid you yet and they were only willing to pay you around $1200 for vehicle storage and the "work" preformed.. you said "that's not good enough." because you wanted over $3000 from my insurance for this "work" that was preformed and storage fees... aka just a tear down of the inner fender, the outer fender flair the front bumper and grill taken off and lights off. (The only reason I brought this vehicle in is because wind pulled the driver door open and bent the hinges and slightly cracked where the hinges are welded to the A pillar. A simple fix is all I asked for not a full a pillar replacement...." you bent the front fender while getting the door open (which I could have done myself but wanted to try and not bend anything more which is why I took this to a shop in the first place...) and then did a full tear down of the driver side door including taking the glass out.. I don't even care about that Jeep anymore and was willing to just give it away at that point in this process because of how pissed off I was and still am about this whole thing. You should have called me before sending any "supplement" to my insurance. Moral of the story for anyone who is considering this shop: don't involve insurance with this shop or you will be sitting between a shop feud with your insurance as the shop is trying to squeeze money out of the insurance company. They might like to do repair work but all this shop sees when you have insurance involved is dollar signs.

I am not stuck with a motorcycle that can't even go over 70 mph - if your local you would know how dangerous that is considering the high speed limits on most roads. I thought doing business with them was worth it because I believe in supporting local businesses. I would say they are not honest and it's funny when I went recently to see about trading in for a bigger size, it was just another rip off. Stay away. Go with a different company- you will thank me later.

I signed and approved an estimated cost of ~$300. When I returned to pick up my bike, they had charged me an additional $580 (4.5 hours of labor) to clean the frame without my approval. To make matters worse, they didn't even power wash the bike! All the oil on the cylinder was still intact. They didn't even bother to ask for my authorization before proceeding with the additional work. This is unacceptable and completely unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this service to my worst enemy. The lack of communication and transparency is astounding, and the fact that they would charge me almost 4 times more than what I had agreed to is downright criminal. The Sales manager even challenged my math skills when I said that it was 3 times what I previously approve, so let's do the math: Budget approved ~$300. Tire change - Completed $210 Chain Lub - Completed $30 Power wash - Not completed $60 Total Service completed (excluding frame ) = $240 + tax = ~$250 Total bill paid $886.46 So I paid 2.54 times what I was expecting
