This dealership made the best buying experience of a new motorcycle I've ever had. I received a great trade-in offer within minutes and had a great price offered on a new bike. I walked away without feeling pressure, did more research and went to other dealers to see what other offers I could get. I had to haggle with the other dealers and ultimately they weren't willing to match Interstate Honda. I went back to Interstate a month later and completed my purchase with zero haggling. Interstate Honda made buying a new bike a great experience. I will definitely be returning for my next one. read more

I took my 2006 Honda Goldwing trike in to have tires replaced, and two other items looked at. The tires were replaced. They said they looked at the other items but told me they could do nothing about them. I trailered the trike home 100 miles. While I was unloading it I found brake fluid under the front right caliper on the trailer floor.I immediately called Austin (service manager) and told him what I found. He said that's not their fault. They didn't touch the calipers when they replace the front tire. I have called numerous Honda dealers that work on trikes and numerous shops that also work on trikes going as far as California. The consensus was that you have to take the calipers off to replace the front tire. One dealer in South LA said it's absolutely impossible to get the front tire off without taking at least one of the calipers off, he said they take both off to make it easier. I feel Interstate Honda should have at least looked into my issue. Instead I was shunned and told they aren't responsible. This is a very important safety issue. If there was a problem, they should have called me and told me that the caliper was leaking, but they did not. I feel they are responsible for my leak. I will never take any of my motorcycles to interstate Honda again. I have since informed the Better Business Bureau of my problem. I do not recommend interstate Honda, a dealer who won't stand behind their own work, especially on safety issues to anyone that's in need of service. read more

I've bought 5 new Hondas in my life and i was never treated in such an obnoxious bullying way before. This morning i called to see if i can buy a Honda Grom 2022. The guy i talked, he was talking literally non stop. I manage to understand that there is a yellow Grom coming that was shipped on June 7th ... And that he requires a $500 NON refundable deposit ... But he doesn't know exactly when the motorcycle will actually be ready for pickup I tried to tell this salesperson that I'm driving thru Fort Collins on Wednesday afternoon and if it's there by Wednesday then Yes I'll put a deposit.... Otherwise why would i put a NON refundable deposit on something that could come in 2-3-4 weeks. That is when he started to become obnoxious, was raising his voice, TALKING LIKE S MACHINE GUN.....did not let me speak and when i tried to say anything, he kept interrupted me.... telling me the Grom is in high demand and I'd better put down the $500 non refundable deposit... WITHOUT LISTENING TO A SINGLE WORD I WAS SAYING.... If it's ready for pickup by Wednesday I'll be happy to put a NON refundable deposit ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP that i called near Denver , they take RE-fundable deposits ***because*** it is in high demand and because they line up 2-3 buyers for each Grom. After returning from a 4,000 mile motorcycle trip, I need to give thanks and a shout out to Interstate Honda in Fort Collins, CO. We were in Granby, CO when we realized the rear tire on my Concours 14 was starting to show belts! (and I live in Illinois!) We were staying in Fort Collins that night (yes, riding 2 up). It was Monday lunchtime and most motorcycle dealers were closed on Monday. Interstate Honda was open! They had the tire size and style I needed in stock! To top it off, they moved their schedule around on Tuesday morning to fit us in! They even finished the job while we were down the road at McDonalds in less time than estimated. Thanks to Alex Templeman (Assistant Service Manager) and Brian (guy who changed the tire). I will not underestimate the tire wear of the rougher mountain roads again! read more

Something has changed. It use to be a very knowledgeable, friendly and organized place. Last couple of times I have been in there it's been hard to get good help, guys behind the parts counter acted as if they were doing me the favor for being there, place was cluttered and disorganized and last but not least super expensive. $7 for a &$@? Plastic Retainer fastener? Are you kidding me? I am in a bit of a pickle since there aren't many Honda motorcycle places around but please make it welcome and friendly for your customers. Visit BMW place down the road to see what good looks like. My 3 star is a pretty generous rating. Hope you make improvements as I hate to see anyone struggle. read more

We purchased a bike here last fall. I called over to talk to someone in sales to see if they could beat the out the door quote I got somewhere else. I spoke with Traci, who was glad to beat that quote. I got there to find Traci and the new bike. This brand new bike was scratched up, and I told Tracy I wasn't interested in a scratched up brand new bike. First she made a thinly veiled accusation as to how it got scratched. Really lady, we just walked in here?! After she realized I wasn't buying Interstate Honda's brand new scratched up motorcycle she oh so reluctantly produced another unit, this time unscratched. I began to remove the seat to make sure the ownership material was there ie. owners manual, doc holder, etc....when Tracy stopped me and said don't worry, it's all there. Long story short, Between Traci and the finance guy, the process took forever and turned into a giant hassle because they kept adding in other charges and fees, saying they were in addition to the out the door price (???). We finally got up to leave, not as a tactic, but because I had a splitting headache, when the teenage sales manager showed up as we were leaving and said he'd honor the original deal as it was before these two greedy thirsty sheisters got their hands on it. (If you're going to shop here, keep a close eye on your wallet). I expected a pretty easy deal, considering we agreed on a price and had good credit and a 50% down payment. We paid and we're on our way. Now I just need to put these idiots behind me. Wait, the owners manual etc... is all missing? So I called down there and Traci says to just come on down and they'll give me the missing items from the brand new scratched up bike. So we drive an hour each way to get this done. We get there and the whole thing is a mess. It took forever and the other employees told us it couldn't be done and Traci wasn't accessible for whatever reason. I left with half of what I was promised. Then we get a call the next day that Traci did the paperwork for the sale using the wrong VIN#. This means we lost another half day dealing with these losers at our cost. We got nothing in return. I thought maybe an Oil change coupon or something for our time. Nope. I do however receive some coupons and even a gift certificate on my birthday I think. All of which were expired upon receipt. To summarize, this place feels like a cheesy car lot movie from the 80s focusing on the mischievous and bungling staff and their incompetence. This is just an honest description of our interaction with these people. We will not return. read more

When these guys boast that they're all about customer service, it's actually true. Until I came here, I could safely say that I hated all auto/motorcycle dealerships and the slimy dealers within. When I was dragged here months ago--all the damn way from Denver--I figured the beautiful Saturday would be spent trying to argue some guy down about pricing, denying all the extras they try to shove at you at the end. Nope. Not at all the experience we received. We have been here twice, and have dealt with two different people now. Both of them were laid back, genuine, cared about the Hondas they repped, and were the lowest of low pressure. Biggest bonus of all ::::TEST RIDES:::: Granted, I didn't take them up on this offer, but my honey sure did. The first time, he didn't find a bike that really meshed with him. Months later, he was able to leave with the perfect bike for him. And while he was out riding, I got to hang out in the A/C and cuddle with Blue Doggy, the dealership pup. I wish I could have negotiated to take her home, as a throw-in with the bike. I'm actually really surprised that this is their first Yelp review--they're a great dealership, and I'm sure we'll haul our butts all the way up to FC again for the dirt bike purchase. read more

I called in about a CDI box for my '95 ACE 1100 to try and price compare. They are closer to me than Wild West in Greeley, so I figured if I could get it closer then all the better - right? My bad. Now I've worked on this bike for 2 years now, I've done my research on the CDI box and dealt with WW in Greeley - ALL of which mentioned different CDI boxes based on the VIN number of the bike. The guy at Interstate (who didn't care enough to enunciate his name when answering, so I'll call him 'mumbles'), said there is only one option for CDI boxes for the ACE 1100 over several years, and that they have "never been VIN specific". I mentioned that we had gone to WW and spoken with them directly, to which he replied "(laugh)You mean HARLEY?". When I didn't stop talking he continued to do this sarcastic, scoffing laugh about WW. That's in poor taste - I don't care what your opinion is about another company, especially when you don't even know the long-standing relationship my family has had with that company building custom bikes for YEARS... you keep that nonsense to yourself. Laugh at me after you hang up the phone like a NORMAL person. Upon further investigation, there are in fact TWO different CDI boxes for the 95-96 ACE 1100. Two VIN numbers require one much less expensive box and two VINs require a MUCH more costly box. IHFSC181 and IHFCS180 require a box that is roughly $442 IHFSC320 and IHFSC321 require a box that is roughly $645 He also said the "one and only box", which also happens to be the $645 one based on the part number he gave, was not available anywhere. I also found that to not be the case, and they're OEM boxes I have found - all within 15 minutes of talking to him. Then his phone started ringing with "All I Do is Win" SUPER loud... so I said "ooo someone is winning... I'll see what I can figure out". Case and point - make that extra drive ;) read more

They were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Also, they weren't overly pushy. More than anything, I just enjoyed that they seemed to talk to us like equals -very open and honestly. Very poor dealer. We had a good faith agreement that was going to be "very close" pending review of my bike for a trade. No issues with my bike as acknowledged by dealer. They started spewing book values at me as the only reason for changing the terms, as if those were not available prior to me arriving there. I left 7 hrs ago with a clean truck, trailer, and bike and made the trip in the snow. So in all a waste of 7 hrs plus cleaning time. Their idea of pretty close is a 160% of the agreed to price when you get there. Very upsetting, with everything I have going on this was not time I could afford to waste. I will not be going back to this dealer or recommending them to anyone. Please don't waste your time as I did dealing with this place. read more

So ive already written 2 reviews but I am sort of unhappy. They told me my tire more than likely ("I would replace that tire if I was you") needed to be replaced. Long story short I took it down to Tri-City-Cycle where they took the time to instead of just giving it a quick glance they soaped it up for free and checked all seals and told me there was no leak whatsoever. To put a cherry on top, I got a 2012 CBR250R for 2700 from Rocky Mountain Kawasaki, fuel injected. They have a 09 Ninja for 300 bucks more, it has a carb, took him 5mins to start, and ya. I called in and he basically said I said it needed a new tire, when he stated he would recommend replacing it. So, you can come here if you like, but keep this information in mind. I refuse to shop at any bike store other than Tri-City-Cycle as I know someone who knows all the owners of the local bike shops and Tri-City is one of the most honest dealer ships according to him. read more

Was on a nine day road trip from Alberta, and had a tiny bit of coolant appearing on the inner fairing of my 06 VFR. I had recently had a minor leak repaired at my local shop back home, and thought it was happening again. Interstate had me back on the road in a few hours after diagnosing the coolant spray as residue sitting down in middle of the V4 motor. They vacuumed it out, and I had no issues for the rest of the 6000 km trip. Very efficient and very trustworthy in my books! read more

Extremely unscrupulous. Had a nightmare of mistruths dealt my way. Put a deposit on a used ATV, on the contingency of it being in solid fully operational function. They told me that they were having trouble getting it started, but had finally gotten it where it was running perfectly. They stated they had gone through the carburetor, rebuilt it, changed the oil and it was running flawlessly. Bold faced lie! / When it was delivered, the service guy spent 20 minutes trying to get it started to off load from the truck. Even after warming up, it would only run with the choke fully open. The sales manager Jason, gave me the old sales version of, "well, these older machines are finicky". The paper work sent was to have included a 30 day warranty. It mysteriously did NOT. I had the delivery guy call Jason to write that in before releasing payment. He reluctantly did. / Fast forward several days, and the machine was still ridiculously hard to start, and the oil they said was changed, was as black as coal. Had them pick it up to track down the difficult starting reason. Jason again tried to sell the "this is just the nature of older machines" line. I wouldn't buy it, as the choke had to be in full open position, even after warming up, to operate. After NOT working on it for 5 days after returning it ("gee, we've had a few guys out"), they finally looked into it. The verdict was a cracked carburetor! And it was supposedly operating "perfectly" before they delivered it??! Jason now stated that they would have to put a new carburetor on that would cost them $800, and he would be willing to send the machine back for the additional part and labor costs. He was going to tally up the additional total and get back to me. In the interim I found listings on Ebay Motors for BRAND NEW carburetors specific to that machine (Yamaha Grizzly 600) for between $65 and $99! I called back and told him my preference was to have MY machine ( Bill of Sale was in my possession, and full payment had been received and cashed on their end) sent back as is. His reply was beyond belief. He stated that since the machine was in their possession, back at the shop, it was now their property, and he would only be willing to buy it back for the original purchase price. Astounded, I asked what in the world he was talking about. I had made full payment, had Title, and it was only back there for a warranty issue. Jason then even more outlandishly said, "well legally this our machine do make that decision". I told him that "legally" he was completely WRONG (my wife is an attorney). He then commented, "well we have possession of the machine, so we will decide what WE want to do" That is technically felony THEFT! / Because Jason and the Owner Shelley, are not worth the time and effort to legally pursue, I agreed to close the deal with a full refund (which is yet to be received). If however, the refund does not show up, a criminal complaint will be filed. / So, if you're looking to buy a Yamaha Grizzly 600 w/snowplow from them, I paid $2000.00 dollars for the machine, that they are now going to jack up to at least $2800.00 (for a retail price carburetor of $100). If you want to get fleeced, you've been warned. / Additionally, if a full refund is not in hand, they will be under a felony criminal investigation. Follow up to owners response. These people made the purchasing process easy. Not only did they let me take a new bike for a test ride (finally, a dealer that gets that people might want to know how the bike handles!), but even were willing to make sure that someone was available to help me and that the bike was already out front so I wouldn't have to wait for anything when I showed up at the dealership. The negotiation was low-pressure and I got the feeling that they wanted a customer for life, not just one sale. They even delivered my bike to my home so that I didn't need to arrange a ride to go pick up the bike. I'd definitely buy again from them and am looking forward to a long relationship with this business. read more

They charged me $55 (after haggling down from $65) to replace two valve stems! Big O quoted $16 but couldn't do it until the next day so Honda had me over a barrel. Based on this I couldn't possibly recommend them to anyone. read more

And we would say, when these guys boast that they are all about customer service, it is NOT true. We purchased an ATV from them a few years ago and service was fine. It was older and time to fix it or trade it this summer. Well, they have just charged us 414.00, to check it out, perhaps understood, however, we are getting it back in a box, not reassembled. They really did not want to deal on a new one at all, "just this is the price.." and too bad for you. The prices for fixing it were $1,000 first check, $2,500 second check, and not until the bill was $414.00 and they thought we would buy from them, did they say it wasn't worth fixing.... and we really felt they were not interested in keeping our business. We went down to Tri City Cycle, at Crossroads down I25 and got all the service we wanted to get from Interstate, but didn't. read more
