Free samples of fresh beef jerky(whatever flavor you choose). Free samples of fresh fudge. Lots of last minute gifts to choose from and not just souvenirs (though they have lots of those too). I was in beef jerky heaven! We are talking good quality homemade jerky here folks! The type I grew up on back in the 70's! Gas priced 10 cents cheaper than surrounding gas stations. Fuel was cheaper than anticipated: Regular unleaded = $2.70 Unleaded plus = $3.10 Premium unleaded = $3.40 Diesel = $4.27 I'd stop here again. It was pouring down rain just before Amarillo and sprinkling in this area. I managed to get it out and never used it. I recently came across the broke charger in the original case while cleaning and decided to use gorilla glue to bond it. So far it's held up but I shouldn't have to dealt with this at all. I wouldn't recommend buying this product. I've even seen reviews from folks having issues from their Auto Zone purchase of same charger.

This is a family rest area, restaurant, truck stop, gas station all in one. Easy to get to right off the interstate. Nice RV park right behind it (Over Nite RV). There is a very large parking area for many vehicles. Very well lighted, open, as safe as it can get. Gas prices were reasonable. Building was clean I normally don't rate place like this, but it was too awesome not to speak about it. Staff were great.

We had just left a nearby hotel on our way back to Colorado from Florida. Lot of trash blowing around. Could have been from the wind but it seemed like this location just collects trash. Maybe that's from the wind tunnel effect and location below/beside the highway? They have a convenience store with the usual essentials. So many pumps were out of commission or broken though so it made it hard to even find one open for gas. Hopefully since this review they've been fixed. Everything was a little dirty and dingy so I think I'll skip this spot next time. It was real close to the hotel but plenty of other gas stations on either side of the highway over this.

And, the pricing is very competitive. They have wifi which was nice for passing the time, their waiting area was clean and comfy. I also received a free car wash with my oil change. I even observed the tech consult with a vehicle owner telling them that they still had 1200 miles left on their oil and that the oil looked good and there was no need to change it, unless the owner just want them to do it. Wow, someone with integrity. The vehicle owner appreciated the honesty (and saving $$) and I was shocked because too many times employees don't think, don't really care about the customer and are there to simply put in their 8 hours well enough to keep their job tomorrow. I didn't get the names of my service techs, but I'll look for them next time I go back because in those 20 minutes, they gained my trust.
