In my case, I was unable to revive a dormant account, but I was able to re-establish with a new account in-person when I was unable over the phone. In-person they were friendly, patient, and helpful resolving my issues ultimately living up to their reputation where there had been hurdles over the phone. Thanks so much!

I am accustomed to a VERY high level of service at NFCU (which is why I have banked with them for over 25 years!) and what I encountered was quite the opposite. From the moment I approached the counter, Linh never offered a smile or a warm greeting, which set a negative tone for the interaction. Her communication skills were lacking, and I found it difficult to understand her due to her lack of English proficiency. Additionally, she did not take the time to engage in basic pleasantries, such as saying "good afternoon" or even introducing herself, which is typically a standard in customer service. She also took a very long time to resolve the issue, and never explained what was taking so long or update me on what she was doing on the computer. Given that I have received EXCELLENT customer service and communication at other branches and over the phone, I'm surprised to see someone like Linh in a customer-facing position. I believe that effective communication and a friendly demeanor are essential in this line of work. I hope Navy Federal can address these concerns, as I would love to see the standard of service improve from such a reputable institution. She needs A LOT of training ASAP.

The car was in immaculate shape and was priced very competitively. The manager even showed me the histories on the other cars I was considering elsewhere. My relative decided not to go forward but I'm sorry that one got away - almost bought it myself. Being that I didn't complete the deal I don't feel comfortable giving a 5-star review.

Back up code BD4CE5VQPUL8…read more We purchased a vehicle that failed inspection as we were about to sign paperwork. They knew the codes. They knew what it was but told me it was the O2 sensor but did no effort to confirm. It was the catalytic converter. It was a very expensive job to replace. They offered me 300 dollars towards repairs to get the sale. This all after spending 7 hours in the dealership. They couldn't even scan the free sirius xm free trial to my vehicle. It was a sloppy experience all around, from the lack of effort to the repair team to the salesman to signing paperwork. Brutal. They tried to sell me the wrong vehicle to start. I had requested it days in advance. Did they verify it. Nope. 2 hours in. Oh. Not this vehicle. We have to drive it from 2 hours away in a different state. Then, they rushed the inspection. Get the sale. Who cares about the quality of what is being sold. They didn't do any work on it to make sure it was safe for the road. There was literally a bolt falling out of shocks and axles. Did they notice? Nope. Make our sale. We need a new axle. More than half the lights didn't work when we left the dealership. Lights? The easiest thing to fix. Meh. Who cares. Get the sale. Safety? Who cares. They got their sale. Given the opportunity to make it right and pay even a few hundred dollars extra. They refused. Good luck with the 10 thousand dollars in repairs 2 weeks after buying from eastern.

I recently came in for a scheduled 11:00 AM state inspection appointment and unfortunately my…read moreexperience was disappointing. When I first arrived, no one greeted or acknowledged me. I stood for a moment looking around before approaching a service advisor myself. My invoice listed my advisor as Aki, so I introduced myself and let her know I had arrived for my state inspection. She confirmed my name, asked if it was for a state inspection, took my key, and told me she would let me know when my vehicle was ready. About an hour and a half later, I received a text saying my car was ready. When I returned inside, my invoice was folded on the counter with my key on top and I was simply told, "You're all set." After getting into my car, I noticed my phone charging cord and dash camera cord had been unplugged (which I understand may be policy). While plugging everything back in and starting the car, I realized I had forgotten to mention that my vehicle has had a key system error message on the dashboard for some time. I walked back inside minutes later. Again, no one acknowledged me, so I waited for my original advisor to become available. When I told her about the dash error, she responded by saying "Yeah, I saw that." I was surprised that this was never mentioned to me earlier, especially since it had apparently already been noticed during the service. I asked if there was anything that could be done, and she told me I would need to schedule another appointment for a diagnostic scan costing around $200, which would take a few hours. What stood out to me most was the lack of communication and customer service throughout the visit. In the past, when I've come to this dealership, the experience felt much more attentive -- even small touches like a quick vacuum or dash wipe were done. None of this was even done to my car this time. After reading my invoice later, I noticed a note stating "upon write up saw key system error message on display." That made it even more surprising that it was never brought to my attention during the visit. I've worked in customer service since 2009, so I understand the importance of communication and acknowledging customers. Unfortunately, this visit felt rushed and impersonal compared to the level of service I've experienced here before. I would appreciate management reviewing this experience and working on improving communication with customers in the service department. Because of this experience, I will likely not return to this location or recommend it to others. (Invoice # NICS534607)
