I desperately needed an internet connection for work, and decided to give internode a go. Big mistake.
Tried (unsuccessfully!) for EIGHT weeks to get an internet connection: I spoke to staff on numerous occasions - but no internet connection was forthcoming.
At the eight week mark, I was called and informed that internode would be able to provide me with internet - but that I wouldn't be able to keep my phone number. I asked them why their website didn't inform customers that they could lose their number? Or why hadn't the first 'confirmation' email informed me of such? Or why hadn't any of the staff prior to this call informed me I'd lose my number. My consultant (Tyson) couldn't provide an explanation.
I reminded internode (once again) that I urgently needed an internet connection for work - and they assured me that my connection would be 'facilitated', and that I'd definitely be connected sometime within two to four weeks!
The matter was forwarded to management, who assured me they'd call either Monday or Tuesday of the week following. No call was forthcoming.
Beyond ridiculous. Avoid this internet service provider like the plague. read more
