Was offered a broken screen and a full refund or kept my current screen with a dead pixel and receive a half refund ($300). They had my laptop for 3 weeks. Also hard to get in contact with technicians as they work out of gepps cross not the city.

I went to Adelaide Family Lawyers with a fairly simple but seemingly unsolvable issue. I found…read moretheir staff to be very professional and friendly. They seemed to care about my issue as much as I did. As it happened, the lawyer solved my issue as part of their free 45 minute consult. I would like to thank them for not complicating the matter and giving me a solution that has not only, not costed me any fees but saved me hours in negotiation time with my ex. I have paid a lot of money in the past for half the service and their fresh approach is such a welcome relief. Keep up the great work Adelaide Family Lawyers.
I was looking to buy a gen 2 pencil for my I pad pro and went into the Mac centre Norwood to see if…read morethey had any in stock. There were two staff working one of which had a laptop running through an update with the client, and was mostly messing about with a screen saver on an iPhone. I had waited 15 minutes and tried to ask if they had any pencils, and was shut down and told that he was busy and should wait my turn. Really disappointed if he had just said yes we have some in stock but I needed to wait that would have been fine, but to be shut me down before I could ask was disappointing and rude. I eventually left and ended up buying from Officeworks. Will never go back to that shop again.
Generally there are two kinds of people: PC people, and Mac people. Both are as stubborn as the…read moreother, and both thinks their kind is superior. I've long been a PC person, and my experiences with operating a Mac frustrated the shit out of me. But for a long time I'd been hearing of Mac's stellar customer support, and I needed to see it to believe it. The customer service provided by the people at the Mac Centre alone has swayed me in the direction of Apple products. I'm sure anyone with a PC that has been prompted to send an error report to Microsoft has long given up on any prospect of getting decent solutions. Mac, on the other hand, really cares about their customers (despite screwing them over with yearly releases of updated products and OSs); and this becomes even more evident when you're receiving help face-to-face. My girlfriend was having issues updating her iPod and failed to find any solution online. We decided to head into the Mac Centre, and shortly after explaining the problem to the people behind the desk, they told her to leave the iPod with them and return in 15 minutes. When we returned to the store, the problem had been solved and the iPod was as good as new. They didn't request any sort of payment, and were extremely polite and helpful. This is the kind of customer support that other electronics companies should be taking lessons from!

Post Haste is an interesting beast at the best of times; it started off as one of those direct mail…read moreservices that helped business communicate with their clients and send out information to mailing lists. They also provided services such as envelope stuffing and utilised the skills and workforce capacity of people with disabilities via the Phoenix Society. If you wanted mail posted they could do that for you in bulk, without you needing to do more than provide your data base of clients. They could stuff the envelopes and address the letters and seal the package before sending it off. Times have changed and here and now you even find yourself reading material off of an on line source, so Post Haste have developed new ways to assist business communicate with their clients in conversations that help expand enterprise. It is a complicated business driving your business through to clients in the new age of Internet technology because it is so much easier for so many more people to compete with you - so Post Haste have added specialist people to their staff to help grow this communications branch of their service. So far so good. They are a good consultancy to communicate with - and they still stuff envelopes as well! Chat with Don McRae the general manager if you want to build your communication capacity and start a conversation with your clients.

Some of the bigger names didn't even get back to me OR turn up for a quote. Furthermore as a tradie myself (Go Girls Painters) I am always delighted to recommend UNLIMITED AIR to my clients, all of whom, without exception have reported back glowingly. This is a small privately owned family business run by Aron who is second generation air-con and exceedingly knowledgable. He works very hard and has recently raised his standards yet again with carefully selected employees and each one of the team is fully accountable for their workmanship. They use top brands and all installations are fully guaranteed. Shop locally OR go the extra distance if you are not in the Hills or City and please do use them for your needs because really I cannot speak more highly of their professionalism and work ethics. Don't get ripped off by the big names and all their hype, please, be sensible and use these guys. You won't regret it.

Okay, I may be a bit dramatic about this but I am just sick and tired of whoever I ask, no-one knows how to fix my cracked mobile screen. This is simply what happened: 1. While running, I dropped my phone and upon impact with the ground, cracked the screen. 2. Luckily, I had a friend that knew you so I took it in for repair. 3. You said it Android mobiles were too complicated and you weren't able to do anything for me. 4. You said you don't know which screen to pick to replace this screen. 5. I was told to try my original phone shop, as they would know how to repair it better than you. Better to be honest, than to promote your own business, right? 6. Vodafone was more than happy to repair my phone screen for AUS $250 upfront. Are you joking?! Gimme my phone back. I'll live with the cracked screen for the next 12 months. Thumbs down.

I was pretty disappointed, annoyed and worried that I'd have to deal with a dodgy phone repairer. The kind who would take weeks to get my phone back to me citing excuses like 'the parts haven't come in yet' when I know the truth is 'I've been watching cat videos on youtube for the past two weeks and haven't got around to fixing your pathetic phone'. Luckily a friend put me on to the folks at this fast and effective repairer, Psytech. They're based out of a second storey suite on Hindley Street, and the place looks a little odd. There's a waiting room with MC Escher paintings on the wall and a bloke who is presumably a massive fan of Doctor Who behind the desk. However, they're kind and patient about explaining what needs to be done to fix your phone. They gave me a free quote, my phone came back within a week, and even though electronic repairs can be notoriously expensive, I didn't feel like they were pulling my fillings to line their pockets. All in all, a great little business better than the big boys.
