There are not too many stores that sell solely Mac products in Adelaide. Mac Centre was one of the first ones and the oldest one in the eastern suburbs. If you want absolutely any accessory to go with one of your many Mac products I would recommend going to the Mac Centre. When I walked in I was amazed by the number of accessories available. There were keyboards, covers and even a bright pink phone you could attach to your mobile. Apart from the accessories, the services that Mac Centre provide leave a lot to be desired. This may be because servicing Mac products is difficult and expensive in itself, but the people at Mac Centre are not extremely helpful. Technology can be frustrating and often the best the workers can promise is that they will see what they can do. I don't want to be too harsh on them as it is often all they can do. Overall the shop is definitely useful especially with the growing number of Mac products available.

I was looking to buy a gen 2 pencil for my I pad pro and went into the Mac centre Norwood to see if they had any in stock. There were two staff working one of which had a laptop running through an update with the client, and was mostly messing about with a screen saver on an iPhone. I had waited 15 minutes and tried to ask if they had any pencils, and was shut down and told that he was busy and should wait my turn. Really disappointed if he had just said yes we have some in stock but I needed to wait that would have been fine, but to be shut me down before I could ask was disappointing and rude. I eventually left and ended up buying from Officeworks. Will never go back to that shop again. read more

Generally there are two kinds of people: PC people, and Mac people. Both are as stubborn as the other, and both thinks their kind is superior. I've long been a PC person, and my experiences with operating a Mac frustrated the shit out of me. But for a long time I'd been hearing of Mac's stellar customer support, and I needed to see it to believe it. The customer service provided by the people at the Mac Centre alone has swayed me in the direction of Apple products. I'm sure anyone with a PC that has been prompted to send an error report to Microsoft has long given up on any prospect of getting decent solutions. Mac, on the other hand, really cares about their customers (despite screwing them over with yearly releases of updated products and OSs); and this becomes even more evident when you're receiving help face-to-face. My girlfriend was having issues updating her iPod and failed to find any solution online. We decided to head into the Mac Centre, and shortly after explaining the problem to the people behind the desk, they told her to leave the iPod with them and return in 15 minutes. When we returned to the store, the problem had been solved and the iPod was as good as new. They didn't request any sort of payment, and were extremely polite and helpful. This is the kind of customer support that other electronics companies should be taking lessons from! read more

You might as well forget about all other Apple resellers in Adelaide and stick to these guys. The people who work here are friendly, knowledgable, and always willing to lend a helping hand to those having difficulties. They are a locally owned and operated business who don't seem to be out to undercut other stores but instead provide real customer service with a smile. Mac Centre Norwood should definitely be your first port of call for a team of helpful Apple experts. PS- They also have an authorised Apple service centre, which is very handy indeed. read more

Speaking as a true poser (by that I mean I use Apple, but I wouldn't have a clue about its technology), this store has been a life-saver. Apple Store Geniuses, to use the official term, have saved my beloved MacBook when something happened to the wifi thingy and it stopped working. (See what I mean, clueless!) Mac Centre has provided friendly and efficient service, and they're helpful without being condescending - I appreciate it, guys! read more

I am the proud new owner of an Apple Macbook Pro and have already visited this shop a few times. Unfortunately the first two occasions were not for a good thing. I just opened up my brand spanking new Mac to find that my battery pack was faulty, just great as that was the problem with my old Dell, hence me swapping to Apple with it's great reputation. I of course am letting this one slide as we got it replaced for free. Anyway, I brought my Mac to this store, very flustered at my new laptop's fault and was happy to find the staff knew what they were doing and were happy to help out. Unfortunately, their initial diagnosis was incorrect due to the temperamental battery situation and I was sent home to find it was still not working. Coming back again they were very apologetic and everything was smooth sailing from there. This little mishap definitely didn't sway me from the store. I love looking at all the Apple gadgets and accessories, wanting most of them but unfortunately not affording them. My brother dropped by recently as well and got his ram upgraded in under 20 minutes which was fantastic. All in all, a top shop with everything an Apple owner could need. read more

Went there this morning with a problem, was't there long. Looked like they fixed the problem. I was charged $40. I was only there for about 5 minutes. I thought it a bit expensive, however the problem was fixed, so I thought, so I was happy to pay. Got home, problem wasn't fixed. Rang them up & they told me to go back. I did. Service was fantastic, the young guy was brilliant, really gave time to see what the problem was & fixed a couple of issues on my phone & Mac, same guy from earlier. Highly recommend, Thank You read more

Whenever I want to buy an Apple product or need assistance with anything, I prefer coming to small shops like this one instead of going to big chain stores. The service is very good here, people are friendly and try to help you out in their best possible way. Although it's so tiny in there and the shop is almost invisible from the outside, they still - somehow - have pretty much everything you could want. The only downside is that they don't do student discounts when it comes to laptops, which is a bit of a shame because that's why I ended up buying mine from elsewhere. read more

Poor service, between myself and a friend ready to spend $1500 on goods, we were kept waiting for 15 minutes before we eventually walked out and took our business to the Mac store in Rundle Mall.. I hope the owner of this store reads this, I'm sure were not the only customers to walk out... read more
